click my name to go insane looking at all my idiotic ideas about reality, its free :)

26 AlphaBetiCal ways to reduce stress to a comfortable level:
Eustress is helpful stress, distress is harmful stress. Search for a balance between helpful and harmful stress. Skip some of the 26 steps and personalize them to your life. At any one time, I try to ignore at least eight steps, and concentrate on the steps which I seem to need at the time.

1. Alcohol, limit to one ounce daily or less.

2. Blink your eyes every few seconds. Breathe out completely every few minutes and then let the natural vacuum in your lungs breathe in.

3. Cigarettes, cigars or other weird 'c' words, limit or avoid them completely.

4. Dollars, have enough income for food, clothing, shelter and a few luxuries.

5. Emotions, be mutually supportive of your trusted loved ones.

6. Food, eat at least one warm meal daily, probably the hot meal should be something other than just popcorn.

7. God or whatever your beliefs are, rely on them for spiritual well-being.

8. Help others do these stress reduction goodies. This article was written in my own words from many different sources which I gathered over the past thirty years. The sources were such things as free pamphlets in hospital waiting rooms. Please feel free to copy it as written, or use your own words.

9. Inside your home, make written to-do lists of chores and schedules.
With your doctor's permission, and depending on your current physical health:

10. Jog or otherwise workout to a sweat about half an hour, 2 or 3 times a week.

11. Kiss, be affectionate with those you love.

12. Laugh, at least one belly laugh every day.

13. Meetings, regular social gatherings that actually help you.

14. Network with friends and relatives to enhance life.

15. Organize your life in order to do the right things.

16. Private persons, at least three, NOT relatives, whom you can confide in when you need help. These people could help you in personal loss, such as the death of a family member

17. Quiet time to yourself, at least 15 minutes daily. In a NOISY Neighborhood? Play soothing sounds, like a flowing brook with or without music.

18. Relatives you can depend on, living within 50 miles from your home.

19. Sleep 7 to 8 hours a day, at least 4 days a week.

20. Teeth, eyes, ears, etc., have regular checkups.

21. Underestimate the complexity of life for the moment.

22. Very realistic about problems very optimistic about solving them.

23. Wind nature's wrist watch use proper nutrients, vitamins, minerals and supplements.

24. eXamine your daily chores write down and do the six most needed every day.

25. Yourself, be good to.

26. realiZe your goals, and dreams in the best possible way.

the thing that i love about Laura is that she has a sense of humor :) at least AFTER she went to Ponderosa, this is really a serious problem, people who cannot suspend reality enough to laugh and relax can really become morbidly depressed, and if they never cry real tears, the brain gets backed up with chemicals that continue the depression, when your tears BURN your eyes and there is no reason to be crying, that is when the brain releases these depressive chemicals...have a really good belly laugh at least once every day :)
