EPISODE 8: EARLY RUMORS
THE TRIBES MERGE!!!
HALLELUJAH! Finally the tribes come together and the real action can begin! I have been looking forward to this since day 1. Since Foa Foa could never win anything, we don’t know the contestants on Galu at all. We have only really seen Shambo because she visited Foa twice.
So what is in store for all of us on Thursday? Each tribe will receive treemail in what appears to them to be a reward challenge and they are sent to crates on the beach where they find new buffs and a message telling them they have merged! There is still speculation as to which tribe is chosen but if I were to guess then I would have to say that Galu would be the best because of the tarp and the two tree holes. The four remaining Foa members must be ecstatic to unite with everyone else. Yes Mick looks incredibly happy in this picture!
On to the immunity challenge! This week it is called “Nut Cracker” and takes place two days after the merge. They say it resembles skee-ball with a baseball bat. Points are awarded for hitting the ball various distances from the tee and into the net. Who wins? I don’t know yet but if I find out anything before the show, I will update. 
So who is voted out this week? In the previews we see the former members of Galu turn against each other. John and Eric want Monica gone. Shambo wants Laura to get the boot and vice versa and Kelly is targeting Erik. My source says that Erik gets the most votes to evict however no one knows if he uses the immunity idol or not. If he does then I don’t know who will go but if he thinks he is safe and doesn’t use it then I’m afraid he will be the one to go.
I have an early prediction for the final 3 so if you don’t want to know then don’t read past this point:
Russell, Mick and Natalie! This is in line with Natalie winning Survivor Samoa. I will keep you informed. If this turns out to be true then the final 3 will all be members of Foa Foa. I guess they aren’t such losers after all. 
I’m happy with this news. The members of Foa are my favs except John only because he is good eye candy!

Ashley- I am so glad they are finally merging! I wonder how Russell will interact with the Galu tribemates. Like at the start of the season will he burn somebody’s socks, empty the canteens or pee on the fire. I agree with your final three pick. The three girls on Galu and the remaining Foa Foa’s will pick off the Galu males and Shambo. Then the four from Foa Foa can pick off the three girls from Galu. Jaison then becomes a casualty of war and that is your final three.
This weeks alliances will determine the rest of the game one way or the other.
AR- I predict Team Zebra,Brian and Erika will go tonight- next week the Globetrotters

Jeff, I will be happy to see team zebra leave tonight. I don’t like Erika. She complains while he does all the work. I hope you are wrong about the globetrotters though. I’m still pulling for the father and son team. Don’t know why I can’t remember their names.

I felt sorry for the poker players tonight … they tried so hard! I’m liking the father/son, the globetrotters and the brothers more and more. Actually, I don’t hate any of the teams left but Erica was kind of whiny tonight.
Congratulate me … I have a beautiful new niece born at 3:25 this afternoon! Her name is Chloe and she’s so sweet and cute. I was too afraid to hold something that tiny … 6 lbs, 2 ozs. Who can believe any of us were ever that small?

Good morning everybody. YOu know, Joe Jackson made a comment the other day that they used doubles for Michael’s dancing, etc, OH NO, THEY DIDN’T. The director said that the only double they used, is when Michael goes through the window. If you guys didn’t read my reviews on “This is It.” IT WAS WONDERFUL, and all of you guys should go see it. The backup dancers were FANTASTIC, and Michael kept up with all of them. Hope I can move that good when I am 50!!!

I am glad that you had fun with the trick-or-treaters. I had several kids in the afternoon and I thought we were going to run out of candy (My fault too. Because my husband buys every year too much and we end up with a lot left. So, this year I asked him not to buy so much) So he had to go to Jewel to get more candy but, like a curse following me, we did not get too many anymore and we have left over, AGAIN. This year I am going to return it, because if I do not, He is going to want to have it. He looooooves chocolate. Maybe that is why he buys a lot, so he can have it later, with this great excuse ;lol:
We did not have any interesting costumes, I always look towards to see the kids in costumes. We did get a 6 yr. old dressed up as Supergirl with her twin brother and the parents stayed at the side walk with their German Shepard while the kids came at the door, I love dogs, and German Shepard are one of my favorites, so I asked the kids whose dog was that and if they would bring to dog to say hello to me they would get another chocolate of their choice. You would have thought that I promised them the moon because they ran so fast to their parents that they looked like a flash of light.

L.A. I really did enjoy the show, it was absolutely wonderful. Go see it if you get the chance. One of his costumes, with pointed shoulders was a little weird, but otherwise, He was great. His rendition of “Smooth Criminal” was really great, and I liked “Billie Jean.” I am going to see it again, and will try to get tickets today.
Also, the rendition of “Thriller” was OUT OF THIS WORLD !!!!!

L.A.- On Facebook you have to use your real name but you don’t have to post a picture or any other personal information. To start with I had my address and phone number on there and my nephew called and told me to take that off.I have reconnected with a lot of my high school friends. Mama d and Nanny are my friends. It is free and pretty easy. At first it is time consuming lining up your friends but it gets better.
With Leo, I have been exchanging E-mails all along and I just told him my Facebook name and let him find me.I am sure your daughters could help you get going if you needed help.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! You are so right, So many times I look at my kids, which of course they are taller than me now, and I wondered how is it possible that I carried those two. I was so afraid with my first one, that during the fist two weeks my husband and I were very much afraid to wash her. My mom stayed w/us, but after two weeks she forced us to learn because she said that she had stayed already too long and she did not want to steal those precious moments that parents keep for the rest of their lives. Enjoy it!!!

#12 I agree with you about Ericka – she has been pretty much worthless the whole race. Why would a “princess” like her try to compete in what I consider to be the 2nd toughest reality show of all (Survivor being the toughest)?
As for Rumors – thanks for another good post, Ashley! Yes, aren’t we all excited about the merge – finally some ACTION!! I’ve read the rumor of Eric going this week on another site. He wouldn’t be the first to get voted off while still holding the idol – but I can’t remember who that happened to before. As for the final three – GAG.ME! Mick would be the only one I think I’d root for, but, let’s face it, of the three, RussHell is the only one who has pretty much Outplayed and Outwitted so far in this game – ARGH – GAG ME, again! Where’s my player to cheer for????

I think there have probably been more people who had the idol and didn’t play it than people who have used it to save themselves. I can’t recall any one being saved by the immunity idol but I am not sure.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. You all rock! I was already an uncle to my two adorable nephews (ages 6 and 3), but Chloe is my first niece. Every one is cooing about how pretty she is and I think she’s really sweet, but to be honest you can’t really tell much about her features. She hasn’t got any hair at all so she’ll probably be blonde like her Mom.
Yeah, I think it was that girl Jamie in Survivor China that had the fake idol and played it … funniest Survivor moment ever.

Yeah cant wait for the merge either. I read alot of sites on survivor and I read the one that said Mick, Russel, Natalie are final three, then read another where the 3 were different but with Kelly being the winner. I do think it will be Mick, Natalie, and Russel. But that is no different then last year Steve ,JT, TaJ were the only 3 left when they merged and were able to flip it. I cant see Eric getting to use the idol because he found it on his turf not on Foa Foas. I didnt like the poker players, but it was heartbreaking last night. Last night I did enjoy the Globetrotters.

Mama d. 31. Didn’t hear that the show was extended, but I am not surprised. What should you look out for? EVERYTHING. Smooth Criminal, Thriller, The Earth Song, The Way You Make Me Feel – all of it is GREAT. The CD (music only) is out, and it is really good, and I heard that there will be a DVD later on this year. DWTS – Hey, Blackgirl 36. Michael Irvine FOUND HIS HIPS. He was good tonight. Aaron was AWESOME, although he is a little brat. The biggest brat on the show, though is Kelly. She pouts, whines, and I don’t know how much longer I can watch her move like a cow on the dance floor. I would put her in the bottom three this week. Mark had a lot of problems, but redeemed himself in the group dance. Mya was good, but not up to her normal great. Derek and Joanna were also great. For the bottom three, I would choose Kelly, Donny and Mark.

Hey, Mama d. I wanted to tell you that This is It is at Walmarts, and they have the best price. There is a 2 CD set, and 1 CD set. I bought the 1 CD set cause I have almost all of his songs. Also, guys, the young black male singer on DWTS was in “This is It,” with Michael as a back up singer. Mama d. when are you getting your tickets? Remember that you can get them on line at Fandango, and that makes it easy to just walk in the theater without standing in line. I am definately going to see it again.

Chilliwack is a beautiful little city of about 70,000 people. I grew up there. My parents, sister, brother-in-law and two little nephews live there, plus several friends. I don’t know anyone called Bama, but I’ll keep my ears open next time I go home which will be for at Christmas!

I really had a very tough time at the first years of school because of it. Now, my kids are in the minority, the tell me about their friends parents and it is rare when a cole stay married after 5 or 10 yrs.

78 Mama d. I didn’t see any t-shirts etc at the movies. Walmart did have a poster for $125.00 Yikes!!!!! They did give a little poster necklace like – thing at the movies, with the CD cover on it, which was kind of neat. LA – 70, couldn’t agree with you more about Kelly. She is clumsy, and awkward on the dance floor, and I just don’t get it!!! She should have left long ago. DWTS – Whats the deal with Len and his scores for Mya. Mya & my Dimitry were great last night and he gave them a 7. Len will be the reason if they dont go to the finals.
Michael was surprisingly good last night, he moved the hips . Iron chef and Kelley should go home tonight which is too bad because Iron chef is a good dancer.

Hey guys. I am taking my lunch break. LA 105 Hope that you can get tickets. It was a great show and you will enjoy it. It was very poignant, somewhat sad, and GREAT, all rolled into one. I was looking at the pictures from the CD this morning, and it almost made me cry. Blackgirl 105, Michael Irvine is now living up to my expectations. I have liked him from the beginning. I was reading an article by Uri Gellar who was a dear and long time friend of Michael Jackson, as well as a critic of his drug use. Michael kinda broke off the friendship when Uri got too personal and told him that he was going to end up dead, but they did get back to renewing the friendship near the end. To make a long story short, Uri is a spiritualist, and once put Michael under hypnosis. He never told Michael that he asked this question “Michael, did you ever touch a child in an inappropriate way?” and without missing a beat, Michael, total hypnotized said “No, I never did.” He then asked “Why did you pay that child off?” Michael answered, “I just couldn’t take the pressure and the strain, and wanted to walk away from it.” You know, I always thought that Michael was just an easy mark, and I never believed that he ever molested any child. I just think he was kind of strange, and people just didn’t understand him. When you see the movie “This is It.” you will see that he is a kind, gentle , and kindred soul who was very misunderstood. All the great entertainers are, when you stop and think about it. Anyway, when you guys see the movie, let me know what you think. I am going to buy tickets again this week.

Hey, Mama d. I think that I misunderstood what you were looking for in regards to Michael Jackson. And, don’t feel bad, I have got lots of 45’s and 33’s from my Mom, and I love them. Anyway, if I were to recommend any CD, etc. to you that would give you a real good collection, I would get “Number One Hits.” which will give you a lot, and the DVD “Live from Bucharest” which is from his world tour and is excellent. You can get Number One Hits from Walmarts, and you can get Live from Bucharest from Amazon.com. They are both really good, and I know you will enjoy them.

LA- I can’t believe you have not heard of Kelly Osborne. Her dad Ozzy is a rock and roll icon who sang with the band Black Sabbath. The family had one of the top rated reality shows called Meet The Osbornes for several years. Her mom Sharon is a judge on America’s Got Talent and the English version that picked Susan Boyle as winner earlier in the year. Kelly danced to one of her dad’s songs one week and he has been shown on the show several times sitting in the audience.
It has got hard to watch DWTS with Chelsie and Louie gone. I hate the music they play as theme music. The judges are the worst.The dances they do have not been popular in over fifty years. Mia, Jo Anne and Donnie are the only decent dancers. The rest all really suck. The actual dancing lasts for about ten minutes and the other hour and fifty minutes is just bull$**T. I will watch the recording of tonight because I love Colby Collait (sp?)

Jeff – Donny is a CREEP and his dancing sucks. YOu need to get your eyes checked. And as far as Kelly is concerned, she is a spoiled, little crybaby who couldn’t dance her way out of a paper bag. Hate to disagree with you, but you are really out there on your comments. But, I do miss Louie, he was fun to watch and had a great personality.

Summer i have to agree with you on Michael Jackson –i never thought he molested those kids either–He was just a lost soul — a boy in a mans body–cuz he never got to have a childhood.–Those kids that accused him of molesting them just wanted his money.. He trully loved his kids. I think he was absolutely brillant and of course he was the same age as me.

Susan&Summer- Totally agree about MJ. He was a superstar at age five and was raised by an odd family. He didn’t seperate himself as an adult to the kids that hung around. He was like another one of the kids. I mean who builds a roller coaster at their house. Summer you are too young to remember but when the Jackson Five first became famous their competition was Donny Osmond and the Osmond Family. The two of them dominated the music charts at the time but their careers took different paths. MJ was much better than Donny. When Marie got old enough she stole the spotlight from Donny. I love Marie but don’t care much for Donny.

This family has been in the public eye for over 45 yrs.if there was a scandal dont you think it would have been exposed like w/ the jacksons, osborns, bonaduce, the royal family, presidents, and 90% of all politicians. Ok now kelly…unlike donny she has struggled with drinking, drug and the law. And to watch this ugly duckling turn into a swan is so sweet. Im so impressed to watch her go from knowing nothing to being able to do the waltz, tango and ect. This may be what changes her life. As for michael irving he did do better last pm but hes the only blackman that ive ever seen who has no rythm and cant shake his butt.arent most blackmen able to shake what their momma gave them? Mj can, mc hammer, jerry rice, warren sapp, and and boy was emmit some kind of smooth. I will say i was highly impressed with his abs!!!

DWTS – Well, I sure batted 0 on this episode. Aaron who got the best scores last night gets put in the final three – Mark – not a big surprise that he is leaving, but I will miss him, and I am really upset over Michael leaving.
