HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!
I am getting off the subject of Survivor just for today so I can tell you all Happy Thanksgiving!
Yes, I am a day early but wanted to share some thoughts about this wonderful holiday with all of you. I feel especially blessed this year. My family is healthy and happy. What more could I ask for? In the last couple of months, I had to watch two separate families bury their children. One was a precious two year old boy and the other a beautiful 19 year old girl. I can’t even begin to comprehend how they are going to get through tomorrow and the next month. I hope you all consider as you are celebrating with family and friends just how short life is and we are not guaranteed the next minute much less the next year. Those we are with this year may not be around for the next so take it all in and enjoy the moments that make up Thanksgiving. We all come from different backgrounds and different religious beliefs and maybe no religion at all but we can all come together and give thanks for all the little and big blessings in our life. Hold your loved ones tighter tomorrow and listen to the stories the older generation has to tell about the holidays they celebrated when they were younger. Find someone to share your own stories with and for those that have kids, give them a break tomorrow. Let them run wild and free and eat as much sweets as they want. It is only one day, you can get them back on track Friday. 
Let us all remember Fedup with the loss of her husband and what a difficult day this will be for her. We miss you girl! Check in with us sometime.
I will get off my ranting now and you all have a wonderful day tomorrow and eat as much food as you want! You can diet another day.

This is going to be a very quiet TG for us as my wife has Crohn’s disease and has been experiencing flare-ups this week with us almost going to the hospital last night and me on call this morning to run home and take her!!
That said, we definitely are not cooking this year and were planning to go to one of the myriad of restaurants — however at this point, I’ll be grateful not to spend TG in the hospital!

Thanks Ashley.. I like to think I take really good care of her — I do know she slept more than I did last night with me worrying about her and having bad dreams

She is a Le’Cordon Bleu trained chef and loves to make an amazing TG meal.. So I know it makes her sad not to feel good this year.
Again, I’ll be happy with a friggin Mexican Pizza and burrito from taco bell and to have her healthy!

Ashley- OK, Where did you get the picture of me and Cat in our Thanksgiving garb? (I’m the dog!) Skotie 68- Thanks for the link on Mia Micheals. I have to admit that I hadn’t noticed her missing since she was a judge at the auditions. I like Tabitha/Napolean’s and Wade Robson’s routines but I definitely miss Mia. Tough call for tonight. The only weak routine was Karen and Victor’s 2nd dance but their first one was incredible. Of the twelve left my least favorite are Ryan and Ashleigh, husband and wife, but they have such good partners right now (Elinore and Jakob)I can’t really see them in the bottom 3 and would like to see what they could do if they got paired together. I didn’t care too much for the can-can dance by Mollee and Nathan but they did dance it well. I am looking forward to next week when they will start changing partners every week.

My brother has come to visit. He is a voice teacher at Yale and sang back up for Kenny Rogers tour this past summer. He leads the Yale Russian Chorous and has toured all over the world. He had never seen “Glee”, So my sisters and I sat him down and made him watch the whole season. He is now a big fan also.

Unlike most women in america, I will NOT be shopping on black Friday. I am completely done with my Christmas shopping so while everyone else is pushing and shoving their way around walmart, best buy, target etc. I will be sound asleep.
Friday is the Alabama/Auburn game at 1:30CT/CBS. I will be glued to the tv.

Tomorrow however, I have to get up early and fry okra, make an asparagus casserole. Cooking the ham as we speak and roasting pecans to put in melted chocolate. When we go to my in laws I have to cook. Next year I will go to my grandparents and not have to do jack!
