Max Dawson joins the cast of Survivor 2015 Masaya Tribe and he sounds like he has a few tricks up his sleeves. The 37-year-old media consultant from California plans to be upfront about who he is with his fellow white collar Worlds Apart castaways.

Max Dawson on Survivor 2015

“The lies I want to tell are going to be deeper in the game,” Max says. He doesn’t want to waste his time trying to fool his fellow castaways with who he is or what he’s done for a living. Even though one of this jobs could very well put a target on his back.

“One of the classes I taught was called The Tribe Has Spoken: Suriviving TV’s new reality,” the former professor admits. “The class was about Survivor and how Survivor has transformed TV and popular culture.”

Max Dawson says he knows people out there on the Internet will be rooting against him since he’s a student and teacher of Survivor and he embraces it. He says he just has to work harder to not give the haters what they want.

“Survivor is such a part of my life,” Max says. “I really just want more than anything to do honor to the game and the show that I love.”

Max is clearly a realist. He knows what is up. Not just with Survivor 2015, but with life in general.  He should  be able to withstand this better than anyone from the season. He seems to be ready to play and I can’t wait to watch him do so on Worlds Apart.
