Next time on Survivor 2018 it looks like emotions are running high for those on the David Tribe that were blindsided by Jessica’s elimination at the first tribal council of the season. Meanwhile, on the Goliath Tribe, we’ve got tensions boiling as Jeremy and Natalie butt heads and Dan’s secret idol is not-so-secret anymore.
Based on the preview for next week’s Survivor David vs. Goliath, titled “I Am Goliath Strong,” we’ve got Carl really upset from not being in on the Jessica vote and losing someone he trusted in the game. “I didn’t except this game to be this hard,” Carl says fighting tears. We also have Gabby reeling from her role in the whole vote flip thing and it looks like she and Christian are developing quite the bond. “The nerds have it, like we are in,” Gabby says in the preview as we are shown scenes of her and Christian bonding. That means Christian is really starting to stack his allies.
And over on the Goliath Tribe, we’ve got Jeremy once again trying to reason with Natalie, but things seem to be not working out. And Jeremy is shown telling John that he knows Dan has the idol. Of course Mike saw Jeremy going through Dan’s things so he also knows. Does that mean Jeremy will be telling others about the idol? Pretty soon everyone is going to know about the idol, it seems.
Also on Wednesday the 18 remaining castaways will be competing in their next immunity and reward challenges and another person will be voted out in the second tribal council of the season. Will the Davids be able to pull it together under Christian’s direction or will they lose for a third time in a row? If they don’t win something soon, then this whole David vs. Goliath theme is going to be a wash and there will have to be a tribe swap. Here’s to hoping the Davids pull out the win so we can keep the theme going a little longer.
