Next Time On Survivor 2018: ‘The Chicken Has Flown The Coop’

After Wednesday night’s 90-minute premiere of Survivor David vs. Goliath ended the way it did, we are ready to really dig into the game. As you know, Pat Cusack was removed from the game for medical reasons, so we didn’t even get a Tribal Council. Most of the episode was spent getting to know some of the 20 new castaways. While we appreciate that, it was a bit slow.

The good news is next time on Survivor 37, we’re back to the regular hour-long episode and it’ll be packed with competitions, drama and the season’s first tribal council. And did I mention drama? According to the preview for next week, both camps are facing their fair share of drama.

On the Goliath tribe, we’ve got Natalie ready to drop some “Natalie Napalm.” As we saw this week, Natalie is a bit bossy and some of her tribemates weren’t too into that. Looks like that storyline is going to continue, which could spell trouble for Natalie. She might be a CEO in the real world, but this is Survivor. It’s going to be fun to see how they handle her, but more fun to see how she handles them.

Over on the David tribe, they’re left dealing with Pat’s removal and the fact that they’re down one person. As Davids, they’re used to that, so they’re ready to adjust. And based on the preview, Christian seems to be ready to step up and lead the tribe. Meanwhile, Nick appears to no longer be the David’s main target. We’re shown that Lyrsa learns her name is now being thrown out. You would think with being one person down already, they would want to worry about the weakest link instead of any personality conflicts. We’ll have to see how that plays out.

Be sure to check back in here with us starting Monday for our full coverage of Survivor 2018. And we’ll be back again Wednesday night for the live recap of the next episode!
