Next Time On Survivor 2018: ‘There’s Gonna Be Tears Shed’

Next time on Survivor 2018! Drop your buffs, it’s time for the merge! The remaining 13 castaways have made it to the jury portion of the game, so we will now be seeing people head off to Ponderosa following every Tribal Council.

As we head into the first merge episode, here are some things to remember:

  • The original Goliath tribe has the slight majority with seven members left. Davids now have six after Nick turned on Lyrsa at the last tribal council.
  • Dan has two hidden immunity idols. Davie has one hidden immunity idol.
  • Carl has the idol nullifier. This has to be used before before the votes are read and any idols are used. You have to pick the person you think has the idol and say you want it nullified. If no one uses an idol, no one knows a nullifier was played. Once it’s played, its over.

We don’t have any specifics about the competitions or anything at the moment. For some reason CBS isn’t letting anyone see and we aren’t sure why. There could be another twist or element they don’t want to give away by showing competition previews or photos. But we will keep you posted.

We do know what we saw during the preview for the next episode, though. It looks like Angelina is once again attempting to lead the charge and this time her sights are set on Christian, who she calls the “heart of the Davids.” What she doesn’t seem to be banking on is how many relationships Christian has built since the beginning of the game. So it might be hard for her to get what she wants this time. We see Alec telling Christian that he has his back and says that “David and Goliath is over.” So will Christian be in danger this coming week or will it backfire on Angelina?  Be sure to join us again next Wednesday night as we find out together during our live recap of the latest episode.

Also, don’t forget to check back on Monday as we kick off our weekly coverage of Survivor 37. On Tuesday we’ll have our latest Player Rankings, so you can see where we think each other the players rank as far as gameplay goes.

What are you thinking of Survivor 2018? Who are you rooting for and who would you like to see go home next?
