Richard Hatch, the original Survivor, headed back to prison again last week for yet another tax evasion issue. For a guy smart enough to “outwit” his competition so many years ago he sure has trouble figuring out that when you make money you have to do this whole taxes thing each year.
Hatch will be in prison for up to 9 months but is expected to be released in mid-December. No word on any plans to reprise his infamous naked days to win immunity inside the slammer.
TMZ reports that Richard attempted to raise money through public pleas but failed to pull in enough to escape prison by paying off his debt.
Best of luck in there, Richard. Next time, just pay the stupid taxes.
