In the upcoming Survivor 2014 episode next week the focus is back on Reed as he’s trying to decide which route to take in his pursuit of the million dollar prize. Not bad for a guy that others thought was a sure-thing to be eliminated that night.
Keith suggests Reed is a “gamer” who knows “how to talk to folks and figure stuff out” but does that translate to calling the shots for his alliance? It’s definitely not a bad spot to be in if the rest of his crew is looking to him for guidance and he’s not seen as a stand-out threat to their own chances.
As for Reed’s own plans, he’s trying to decide if he should stick with the Jon alliance or flip and try to get him voted out. Considering the way this season has been a series of surprise flips it seems only fitting for there to be another sneaky vote attack next week. What do you think Reed should do and do you think he has as much control as he thinks?
The latest victim of the Survivor Blood Vs Water blindside, Jeremy Collins, was shuttled off to Ponderosa where he enjoyed a cold beer and the company of the first Juror, Josh Canfield.
Jeremy appears to be sincerely shocked by the events that transpired in his elimination this week. Sure, he admits it was a smart move, but he had just started to see a light at the end of his Survivor journey tunnel when the votes’ jaws closed around him.
Arriving at Ponderosa Josh assures Jeremy that Reed was in on the plan to eliminate him and may have even had a controlling hand in the decision. Jeremy deflects this and says Josh thinks he’s still in control of the game. Seems their Survivor feud may not have ended so quickly with their eliminations.
By the first morning Jeremy is starting to feel better, but he still has plenty of regrets. He knew going in to the season that he should never trust anyone and always keep the rewards for himself, both ideas he betrayed in those days leading up to his elimination.
It’s an interesting retrospective to hear from Jeremy in his Ponderosa video. Watch it below:
Jeremy Collins was the latest victim of the bizarre Jon & Jaclyn wheel spin of elimination process they seem to be following each week, or at least according to the episode edits. Jon, after being caught with his pants on fire over the Hidden Immunity Idol, decided to target his new ally Jeremy instead of just fessing up to the situation. Now we’ll get to see where this leads us next week as we zero in on the season finale not too far off in December.
Check out all the pics below from this week’s Survivor 2014 episode courtesy of CBS. Gotta love those action shots from the very entertaining Reward Challenge. I’m also scratching my head a little with the photo of Baylor nestled up on Alec’s lap, but his childish, grade school style of degrading flirting was pretty obvious as to his real attitude about her.
“I slipped up,” explains Jeremy Collins in his “The Day After” interview following his elimination from Survivor’s Blood Vs Water this week. One misstep was all it took for this castaway who spent his season on the run from the start to his early finish.
I was really enjoying Jeremy and his struggle to keep his head above water was an exciting storyline this season so it was disappointing to see him voted off Survivor last night, but even Jeremy admits this seemed inevitable.
Jeremy says it was a battle from the very start as he was targeted and then each week it became a “me or them” situation where he would narrowly dodge elimination. His chances of getting to the end were a long shot and would have required an incredible string of Immunity wins, according to Jeremy’s view of the stretch ahead.
It did finally seem like he had a window of opportunity, or so he thought on the very day he was eliminated. It was that moment he says was the slip up that cost him his game on this week’s episode. Overall he considers his time on Survivor a disappointment since he failed to win and anything less fell short of that goal.
