Picking up the Survivor 2015 pace it was a full two hours of episodes with a ton of challenges after weeks of single competitions. No Collar would have to pull out all the stops if they wanted to avoid a third straight loss but with their recent poor performances I wasn’t going to be shocked if it happened again.
Whoever went home first on Survivor would miss the Tribe Shuffle that eliminates the third tribe and made two new ones in its place. Should be interesting to see who is the first to turn on a former ally, but enough waiting, let’s find out right now as we live blog this week’s show here.
Wasting no time we’re flying right in to the first Reward Challenge of the night and it’s the blindfold competition. Watch out below! The tribes are running four players in each with one person up in the lookout tower while two roam the field blindfolded. Each pair must find 3 items, lift them up, and then bring back the tribe flag.
No Collar takes an early lead as we see the fourth player who pulls the lift get knocked in the head on each tribe. Jeff warns Will to watch out and we get another warning when Blue gets reckless with their platform. I think CBS is trying to show themselves as proactive in trying to protect the players ahead of what’s about to happen.
Maintaining a huge lead, No Collar is down to their last item when disaster strikes. Blue has been getting careless and letting the platform drop instead of slowly lowering it. When Dan lets go of his rope the wood platform socks her hard in the forehead. She’s bleeding but doesn’t seem to realize how bad it is.
Medic comes over to examine her. She’s fine, says the medic. He cleans up Kelly’s wound and she is right back in the game. Impressive! The challenge is back on and ready to see who can win the chickens.
Immunity is back up for grabs on Survivor 2015 tonight when the remaining castaways and three tribes enter the playing field looking to avoid Tribal Council and elimination.
“Houses of Holey” is the first Immunity challenge this week on Survivor Worlds Apart when the tribes will run four players across a course tethered to a common rope. Then they’ll make a staircase and climb over a wall before navigating three balls up a holey board and depositing them at the top.
Over on White Collar we’ll see Shirin sit out while Blue Collar sits out Dan and Lindsey. Everyone on No Collar is required to compete since they’ve lost the most castaways so far.
Check out the challenge sneak peek pics below and watch Survivor’s behind-the-scenes video for a more in-depth look at the competition ahead of us tonight.
We’ve got chickens on the menu tonight with separate Reward and Immunity challenges and from the preview clip below I’m guessing Blue Collar comes up empty on the egg-laying prizes. But as a consolation prize Kelly Remington does take a hard hit to the head that leaves her bloodied. Yeah, I’d rather have chickens too.
Then there’s just one more Tribal Council with the three original tribes in tact before we head to a Tribe shuffle tonight on Survivor 2015. Could that mean No Collars lose again and their numbers are half that of Blue Collar which forces the remix of castaways?
We don’t have as much details on the second episode as CBS is working to hide who is missing from those challenges. Good idea. We’ll find out soon enough though who goes home and who gets themselves a nice chicken dinner. See you back here at 8PM for our live coverage of tonight’s back to back episodes.
This week on Survivor 2015 we’ve got not only a double dose of episodes but we also get a doubling up of Challenges with both Reward and Immunity this time around.
First up on Survivor Worlds Apart will be the Reward Challenge and I’m thinking there’s some chickens involved with the title “Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner” and an image of Jeff holding out a plate of eggs to the castaways. We’ll have to wait and see for sure what reward items are under that sheet.
This Survivor challenge puts four players in the field for each tribe. One player is up on the stand while three more move around the course and bring back items. Those three down below are all in the dark with a blindfold while the tower player shouts commands and directions. Castaways will have to bring back a collection of items and then lift it up the player above. First to finish wins reward.
As for who wins, I’m thinking it isn’t the Blue Collar tribe. In this preview video Mike Holloway is discussing their lack of food and says “we’re not getting chickens, obviously.” So they’re probably out of the running. Which tribe do you think will pull off the win?

Hyped during last week’s “Next Time on Survivor” promo we saw Jeff call for the challenge to halt but we hadn’t seen much more. Now we know it’s Kelly who takes the hit and just how it happens.
Sierra Thomas is working on the raised level and pulling up the lift platform when one side drops and it all crashes down on Lindsey and Kelly beneath it. Wait, did Dan Foley let go of his side of the rope? The heavy wood platform knocks in to Kelly’s head hard enough to leave blood running down her Buff and hand. Despite all that Kelly doesn’t fall to the ground or even stop to pull off her blindfold. Dedication!
Jeff calls a stop to the challenge and the preview stops there but it’s safe to say the medical team would have jumped to her assistance. I’m guessing one of the two guys would have stepped in to help her as Mike Hollyway and Rodney Lavoie were the sit-outs for Blue Collar in this week’s challenge.
No word if Kelly has to leave Survivor, but I’m guessing she pulls through and sticks it out. We’ll see more on Wednesday’s double episode night of Survivor 2015.
