Survivor spoilers have revealed our first look at the new tribe make up for Game Changes on Season 34 in just the second week of the new season as returning players were settling in to their new alliances.
This week the Survivor 2017 castaways will be surprised by Jeff Probst before the next challenge that it’s time to “drop your buffs” and thanks to an early “next time on” clip we’ve got a good look at how these new tribes will start to shake out in what looks to be not two, but three tribes coming our way.
We’re about to hit week two of Survivor 2017’s Game Changers season and we’re already down two castaways and both are from the same tribe thanks to their flopping and flailing at the first two challenges of the season. Well so much for that.
This is our last time seeing these tribes’ lineups thanks to the Tribe Shuffle this week but it’ll be important to note the original arrangements in case it comes back to play with undercurrents of alliances moving forward. Read on to see who is still left with his or her chance to win Season 34 of Survivor.
Next time on Survivor 2017: drop your Buffs! It’s time for the Shuffle, but no big surprise there, right? We already saw Michaela with a blue Buff in the season intro despite starting with a red/orange Buff. Now it’s time for some change up.
Along with the Shuffle we’ve got the first of the season’s Idol twists with a return to the in-challenge retrieval of a “hidden in plain sight” target. Oh, and there’s a goat.
Comparing things from the last spring to this season’s opener numbers saw a drop from 1.9 to 1.7 this year but still managed to draw 7.61 million viewers (8.2M a year ago) to win the night overall in that category, a record low for the series. So what’s going on?
What a great night of Survivor 2017 last night on the season premiere featuring two rounds of Immunity Challenges and Tribal Council votes with a good build of suspense in at least the second part of the episode. Now it’s time to look back over the wreckage.
We’ve got a full gallery from CBS featuring the arrival of the castaways at their camp, Nuku wiping the floor with Mana in the first comp, and then off to the Tribal Council with the season’s debut Tribal Council. After that we’re back for another round with more scenes from all the action. Check it out below.
