Survivor 20: Boston Rob Steps Up and James Goes on a Rampage
I am so shocked at Rob right now. He actually worked so hard he made himself sick. Who woulda thought? I have to admit that I am pulling for the villains tribe even though it seems that there is more drama at the heroe’s camp. Probably just because they keep losing.
What about Rupert and James? They were hell bent on getting rid of Steph! James thought she was bad luck and I don’t know what ole Rupert was thinking. I’m going on record as saying I do not like James anymore. Who put that big chip on his shoulder? I don’t remember him being such an a hole before and I don’t like this side of him. Telling Steph to shut her mouth? I would have slapped his face. Just telling it like it is guys. I know most of you love him but I was disgusted by his actions tonight.
What about the Villains rallying around Boston Rob? Even Russ almost admits he was worried about him lol. The whole tribe thought they would fall apart if he left due to his illness. They definitely would not have won the challenge if it wasn’t for him.
The immunity challenge was again an endurance challenge. Two competitors from each team raced out to roll a large crate back to the start. When all the crates were back they then turned them into a staircase with the names of their tribe on either side. The first tribe to complete the puzzle and climb the staircase wins. The heroes branch out to an early lead but are once again defeated when it came to the puzzle. Boston Rob won it for the team as he figured out how the crates should be positioned and used his strength to push the crates up. The immunity and reward challenge was combined so the villains win immunity and also a much needed tarp. They haven’t been dry in days.
At tribal council, James turns the heat on Steph and Colby and Tom jump in to defend her but in the end Steph is voted out. What do you think is causing James to self destruct and will Boston Rob return to his villainous ways?

I gotta say….I used to like James. But I think his true “colors” are coming out. He’s acting like a gansta. I hope he goes next!!
February 18th, 2010 at 9:46 pm
Someone has to tell the Heroes to get in line. James was right because she wanted to be a chief and would,kt listen. I think it is funny that her tribes always lose people and never win. That is a shame.
February 18th, 2010 at 9:48 pm
Botfly can you explain how James is going ganster? Is that how you would describe the backstabbers in the villian tribes as gangsters? If not, you have no reason to call James a so called gangster ok? Just watch your words, so you don’t offend others!
February 18th, 2010 at 9:49 pm
I agree. Until tonight, James was one of my favorites. Not anymore!
February 18th, 2010 at 9:49 pm
Ashley, does Randy from the Villians get voted out next?
February 18th, 2010 at 9:51 pm
It sounds like Russell is jealous of Boston’s Rob popularity. I am glad he gets no votes in the end. Talk crap about a guy then make an alliance with him and then backstab him?
February 18th, 2010 at 9:54 pm
W-O-W. Tom, Stephanie and Colby vs James, Rupert and Amanda with JT, Cirie, and Candace as swing voters? I am not suprised Cirie joined James and Amanda! Go James, Amanda, JT and Rupert
February 18th, 2010 at 10:01 pm
Is it me or does the Villian tribe seem like they are acting like Heros and the backstabbing in the Hero tribe makes them look like Villians?
February 18th, 2010 at 10:03 pm
I did not care for the way James acted tonight. Rupert didn’t like steph either but he had way more class than james.
February 18th, 2010 at 10:05 pm
Duane, I do agree that the heroes tribe is acting more like villains. I’m still liking bostonj rob.
February 18th, 2010 at 10:05 pm
I can’t believe people like Stephanie more than Amanda. Would people rather see Amanda gone first?
February 18th, 2010 at 10:07 pm
I like this. Heros and acting like Villians!
February 18th, 2010 at 10:10 pm
I am suprised Cirie didn’t vote Amanda out for costing her a million dollars by choosing Parvati
February 18th, 2010 at 10:14 pm
If Cirie voted with James, Rupert, Amanda and Candace, I am confused with why she is voted out before Colby and Tom? Ashley do you know why Cirie was voted out so early? Even if Tom used an Idol, I would have thought Colby would have been gone before Cirie? Maybe James and Amanda couldn’t trust Cirie after Fans vs Faves?
February 18th, 2010 at 10:18 pm
I would think they would try to keep colby around to help in the challenges. They need him more than cirie but that is just my opinion.
February 18th, 2010 at 10:19 pm
W-O-W!!! James is acting like a Villian. I see what you mean about acting like a Villian and not a Hero
February 18th, 2010 at 10:27 pm
Then you won’t like the next few weeks – James doesn’t get voted out until week 14. Boston Rob shortly after.
February 18th, 2010 at 10:39 pm
Summer, I actually have a night to watch part of the olympics. Saw the womens half pipe and now mens figure skating. Next week, I will have no time. American idol is on for 5 yes 5 hours and of course 1 hour of survivor. I know you don’t watch ai but I have to now that I’m writing for the site.
February 18th, 2010 at 11:16 pm
Ashley, I agree that Colby is stringer than Cirie and Amanda. Do you think James and Amanda agreed to vote out Cirie as kind of a “I got you back” for the whole screw Ozzie and there game plan during Fans vs Favorites?
Also, I am curious to know why in the world would they keep Cirie, Candace and Amanda over Tom? What was James, JT and Rupert thinking?
Ashley, who do you think is stronger? Amanda or Candace? I say Amanda has proven herself to be a winner because she has made to final 2’s!
February 18th, 2010 at 11:27 pm
I don’t know why they would vote out tom first and I think amanda is way better than candice.
February 18th, 2010 at 11:45 pm
Ashley, did you take the boot list off that shopwed how all the people are voted up that MissyAE posted? I was looking for it because I forgot who has the most jury members. Do the Heros or Villians has more members on the final jury? Thanks!
February 18th, 2010 at 11:52 pm
I feel bad for Steph. I wished she could have stayed longer or at least make it to the jury. She was great. Now I’m starting to dislike James. Thinking that Steph is bad luck. Well, he should have seen Steph in Palau.. Steph has put a lot of effort for her tribe and has been XFactor in majority of the challenges.. James might be strong but he aint that smart.. Remember China?
February 19th, 2010 at 12:08 am
martz, James may be known as the guy who didn’t play an idol when he had two, but he is right when he says Stephanie is know for being the “only” player in Survivor history to have their entire tribe voted out and living on an island by themselves until the merge. She might not be bad luck, but if you remember her season a couple of guys especially the last one did just as good as her. She in fact is a weaker player than Amanda, who made it to 2 finale’s.
And to make a comparison based on history, James has had a more productice Survivor ride than someone who couldn’t even help there tribe win a chalenger to avoid being voted off. Tom (who I like) may not have liked it, but the truth is that every person who has been on Stephanie’s tribe has been voted off until she left today. That is a fact.
HJames went over the top by pointing out a fact, but unlike Rupert who was just jealous because more people liked Stephanie more, James using reasoning even if you don’t agree with it. In fact, I would have to say Mr. Rupert with his giving advice and to quote “Stephanie” “is getting on her nerves” is being even worse that james and is supposed to be the fan favorite / Hero.
February 19th, 2010 at 12:09 am
Wow! The US just won the gold in a come from behind performance in figure skating. It has been over 20 years.
February 19th, 2010 at 12:37 am
Great synopsis, Ashley! I agree that the Heroes seem to be morphing into Villains. James was a pig tonight. Not classy, not manly, and definitely not a hero! I’m disappointed in him. What was all that crap about Stephanie being a cancer because she was the last surviving member of her tribe?! He obviously feels threatened by a strong woman which is a real sign of innate weakness. As for Rupert … where are the qualities which originally endeared him as a fan favorite? Not evident to me, thus far.
And then in a strange twist we see the Villains playing out more as Heroes; Gerri, the wicked witch, showing tenderness and compassion, Boston Rob showing maturity and courage.
Yet there is a part of me wondering if this is all part of Rob’s new strategy to gain future jury favour in a way he never has before. As for James … well, it’s sad, really.
Meanwhile, the Sandra, Amanda, Pavarti band plays wide-eyed in the background just waiting their chance to strike when the big boys are out of the way.
Love it.
February 19th, 2010 at 1:35 am
I think James is no longer a hero in most of America’s eyes. I was a James fan until tonight, now I’m anxiously awaiting his “injury”.
February 19th, 2010 at 1:36 am
Cooper, it is funny to me how they are editing this because if parv and sandra are the final two, we sure aren’t seeing much of them. I love your synopsis of the show btw.
February 19th, 2010 at 1:41 am
Ashley, do you know where I can get Amazing Race spoliers to find out the final 3 and season winner?
February 19th, 2010 at 1:45 am
@21 Duane, according to missyae, jury is as follows:
Coach, Courtney, JT, Amanda, Candice, Danielle, Rupert, Colby, Jerri.
February 19th, 2010 at 1:52 am
#27 Ashley, thanks. I love and appreciate all the great work you do on this site!
February 19th, 2010 at 3:16 am
I thought what James did after the immunity challenge and at tribal was awesome! He spoke the truth. He did it rather roughly, but it was the stinging truth. Stephenie was a ‘cancer’ for their team. Even though she’s a Hero this season, she’s a very manipulative Hero. How do you think she lasted long enough to to see all of her teammates get eliminated, TWICE? She’s not even a great competitor compared to the others on her team. She had a major part in ruining the immunity challenge, because she WOULD NOT SHUT UP. James had every right to be pissed about the outcome of the challenge. Through out the entire challenge he kept telling people to be quiet so JT could do his thing. But of course they didn’t. That team got the verbal lashing they deserved. And at tribal he didn’t directly admonish Steph until she opened her big mouth. Steph needs to cry to someone who gives a damn.
It’s great that the Villians the season, is the team with their wits about them. I love it. Why? Because they know how to use people to get theirs. They know when to shut up, and when to lash out. Boston Rob knew that all he had to do was say “Shut up! Listen to me! I got this!” and they would fall in line. They knew he was good with puzzles and they shut the hell up. Why because one voice is better than 10 over-lapping.
I am glad Steph is gone. And I can’t wait for the rest of her whiny crew get the boot as well.
February 19th, 2010 at 8:43 am
I guess I am the only one who is not hating on James. He did went to far, but what he was saying was true, too many people were talking at once that is why they lost the challenge. He got angry and showed his frustration, so what. People are not perfect.
botflyguy how is getting angry acting like a gangsta?
February 19th, 2010 at 9:03 am
Blackgirl, I knew you wouldn’t like what I wrote. I was so mad last night anyway because my father in law yelled at me in front of my son and I wasn’t taking too kindly to seeing any girl get screamed at lol.
Cooper, I hope you are getting awesome in laws who don’t show favoritism over one grandchild cause it sucks.
February 19th, 2010 at 9:09 am
Botflyguy: your remark seemed racist to me, I get how you may have met heroes vs villans colors, but still didn’t like it.
Duane: Steph’s first team was all “voted off,” the second to last guy lost a challenge.
While Stephani deserved to go this time, Rupert has been very dissappointing, and I am done with James.
February 19th, 2010 at 9:58 am
Ashley, my future inlaws don’t have any grandchildren yet. My fiancee has two younger teenage brothers. My parents have three grandbabies and love them all equally. I can’t imagine either side showing favoritism, but that sure would suck and be very hurtful. I’m so sorry that happened to you. Your father in law should give you the respect you deserve.
#31 Mikey, I stick with what I said. James was way, way over the top.
February 19th, 2010 at 10:45 am
Ashley, you know that I had to watch Survivor. Just couldn’t resist. I kept clicking the dial from Survivor to the Olympics. James, the grave digger, needs to stop digging his own. Best line of the night was Boston Rob’s “I’m being so good, that I am making myself sick.”
Too funny. I am really beginning to like that guy. Tom, what’s up with his “better than you” attitude, and his comment to James “I’m not from your world” really sickened me. It’s funny how some people you really liked in previous episodes you really begin to dislike in future episodes. Rupert, what in the heck is going on with you? Hooray for Evan. He skated his heart out and was definately the best. Good for him. By the way, the Russian was sure a “sore loser” at the press conference. Too bad, so sad. Johnny Weir was marked too low, but I still just don’t get him. I think that he is judged on the ice a lot because of his behavior off the ice. It’s not fair, but he should tone it down. Hey, The Porno Mistress along with her attorney, Gloria Allred is going to have a press conference after Tiger’s. Gee Whiz, I hope that I will be able to clear my calender so that I can watch.
(Joke, Joke.) Sorry Skotie 68, but I dont agree with your previous post. Tiger doesn’t owe anybody anything. If you don’t like him, don’t watch him, but his personal life is none of our business. I am sure that Elin is going to watch him with an “Eagle Eye”, and if she catches him fooling around, she will give him another “bogie.” He is a great golfer, and I will continue watching him. Now, if the mistresses would go back under their rocks, then life would be a whole lot better.
February 19th, 2010 at 11:05 am
James was spot on. Stephenie was yelling and not listening. James was tired of the same stupid thing and he explained himself later. Tom and Colby are the biggest hypocrites out there. They want to play the good guy roles and they are scheming and trying to manipulate everyone, they are not different than the villians. And tom saying I am not from your world, what the hell does that mean. The villians are acting way better than the heroes, did anyone see the concern for Rob. The heroes are cutthroat and mean.
February 19th, 2010 at 11:09 am
Ashley – Sorry about what happen to you with your inlaws. That really sucks.
Summer – That Russian skater guy was aweful. He did not deserve the silver medal. I guess the judges were grading pass glories.
Cooper – Whats up with the CDN hockey time last night..they played lousy. If we cant beat the Swiss, how are we gonna beat the mighty Russians. Go CANADA. Brodeur was the only one who played well in my opinion.
February 19th, 2010 at 11:17 am
well like i said the heroes turned out to be broke dick cry babys and they got ride of a strong player they should have gotten rid of broken toe ruperd so i vote for the villoens
February 19th, 2010 at 11:30 am
38 Blackgirl. You are right, the Russian skater did not do well. Sorry that he has such a “sour grape” attitude. I just watched the Tiger press conference, and I think that he handled it with dignity and respect. He said what needed to be said, and now, everybody should back off and just leave him and his family alone. These media people who are wiping the floor with him need to think about their own lives. I hate their “Better than thou” attitude. Maybe we should have them disclose the things they have done in their lives, and apologize for that. Everybody makes mistakes, and I think that Tiger is sincerely remorseful. He looks like he has been through the wringer. MEDIA BACK OFF!!! I am sorry that he says he may not get back to golf this year. That is truly a loss for that sport. Hey, guys, watch the ice dancing tonight. We (the USA) have a real shot at the gold.
February 19th, 2010 at 11:33 am
One more dig at the media – they say he owes everybody an apology for all the products the public buys, etc. Sorry, but they are idiots. Tiger made his money because of his play on the field, not his play off the field. Ok, now I have spoke my mind, so I can get to work. Later, bros and broettes.
February 19th, 2010 at 11:54 am
Summer:
I think Tiger did a good job. He is definitely working the steps. He even mention giving back and helping other once he gets the help he needs. Thats probably one of the most important steps in recovery. Giving back what you have learned to help other. It really one of the most beautiful things about recovery. The realization that no far how far down you go, you can always be of help to others by simply sharing what you have learned. He has a long road ahead of him and it never ends. Recovery is a journey, not a trip with an ending point. Good luck Tiger, your on your way. 3 steps down and 9 to go although steps 10-12 never end. Realistically he is only on step 4 which is the hardest and most time consuming steps. I’m gald to hear he is going back for more rehab. He was only in for 45 days which we refer to as a ’spin dry’. Again, its a journey.
# Step 10 – Continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong promptly admitted it
# Step 11 – Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God as we understood God, praying only for knowledge of God’s will for us and the power to carry that out
# Step 12 – Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to others, and to practice these principles in all our affairs.
Sorry for writing so much on this topic but who knows, someone might read it might spark a moment of clarity and they will realize there is a way.
As for Survivor, it looks like my prediction might come true. Rubert will not be fan favorite and people will have a different view of him by seasons end.
Russell needs to get his game on. Seems like he has learned something as he is definitely playing a more social game. Hasn’t made any enemies yet. I see him coming on stronger soon.
Love seeing the hero split up already. Although I thought it was an uneventful episode. I’m waiting for some BIG moves.
February 19th, 2010 at 11:58 am
I am going to have to disagree with the whole tiger woods saga. If he felt he owed the public an apology, he should have done what he did today. He is the #1 golfer in the world and possibly the worlds greatest athlete, that kind of popularity comes with public scrutiny whether it should or not. He is the role model for countless kids and should be held accountable for his actions. Is it my business to know what he does with his personal life? No and I don’t really care but when you got people wanting to be like you, and you have all these women coming forward with their story than he should have done what he did today. Now that he has done that the world needs to forgive and forget and let him and his wife move on with their lives.
February 19th, 2010 at 12:30 pm
I dont give a shyt about Tiger Woods. I never liked him before and will not start liking him now.
@June – too funny
I hope Rupert remains America’s fav because he is a good guy. Go Russell, James and Rupert.
February 19th, 2010 at 12:35 pm
Blackgirl, you and june crack me up. Thanks for the comic relief on this site.
February 19th, 2010 at 12:35 pm
I DON’T BLAME JAMES AT ALL— AS A TEAM YOU WILL NEVER WIN A THING WITH EVERYONE SCREAMING AT ONCE, THEY HAD A PERSON THAT HAD DONE THIS BEFORE AND LOUD MOUTH STEP. AND A COUPLE OF OTHER’S ALL SCREAMING AND NOT LISTENING TO SOMEONE WITH EXPERANCE, JAMES WAS RIGHT, AND TOM BAD ASS SHOULD ALSO JUST SHUT UP!!
February 19th, 2010 at 1:14 pm
ChiBrad – thanks for the boot list jury info
For Stephanie supprter. You are being hypocrites because if James or a villian pulled to crap during the challenge, you would say they need to stop being so disruptive.
Stephanie was the weakest player and in 2 challenges she was involved and her actions cost the Hero’s 2 wins even though they are winning. For her and Tom to say she is the strongest female compared to Amanda is a joke. She has never been on a team that was able to win an immunity challenge. Tom made himself look bad with the “I must be from a different world comment”.
February 19th, 2010 at 1:18 pm
Some cool insight from Jeff Probst. Almost as good as Ashley’s but still falls short!
”
Cirie is amazing. I am so impressed by how good a player she has become, so subtle with her maneuvering of people. Like her or not, I’d put Cirie in the top twenty players of all time.
Russell is obviously annoyed with Rob being the one in charge, but if Rob and Russell could get rid of their egos and team up they could run this game to the end. Russell offers Rob the energy to play a very aggressive game and Rob offers Russell the wisdom of when to simmer down.
Voting out Stephenie? Really? Even on Ambien that makes no sense.
I’m going to say something that will probably be very unpopular but if I were on the Heroes tribe I would have to seriously consider getting rid of James. I know he’s the strongest guy to ever play this game, but his attitude is just not there and that is more damaging long term than his biceps are helpful short term. He caused as much disharmony with his running around as Stephenie did by talking during the challenge. But it was his outburst at tribal council that was most unnerving.
Players get so locked into their vote that they rarely change their mind at tribal council. NOTE # 2 TO ALL FUTURE PLAYERS: If you are at tribal and something is going south – have the guts to change your mind and call an audible. Make a stand. To get a shot at the million dollars you have to make it to the end and to get to the end you have to avoid tribal council and to avoid tribal council you have to win”
February 19th, 2010 at 2:18 pm
People might not like how far james went with his rant, but he was stil right. tom was just trying to protect an ally and come out like the good guy but i did respect colby a bit for sticking his neck out there. I think what it ocmes down too is that james jsut hates losing and if you watch teh other seasons he’s been on his tribe hardly loses at all. last episode reminded me of his season in china when Pee-gee started going after james for losing a chalenge and james had a simular outburst at pee-gee. Also if someone knows could they tell my what event lead james to go before the merge? is it his attitude?
February 19th, 2010 at 2:23 pm
Huttsean, I hear james gets injured and they give him the sympathy vote out.
February 19th, 2010 at 4:23 pm
I think the first All Stars season had a better format. A mix of good and bad all stars mixed together. I like the original way of picking teams on earlier seasons!
February 19th, 2010 at 4:32 pm
Skotie69, I have a question for you? If Stephanie wasn’t the weakest kink, who was? Cirie physically, but she is a better player! Amanda or Candace?
James being voted out before Stephanie makes less sense than Tom being voted out before Amanda or Candace.
James spoke his mind which was the truth. I guarentee we will see a Russell, Coach, Parvati criticize another Villian and they won’t get as much crap.
Bottom line is Stephanie has a track record of a Survivor who hasn’t won anything but a lucky fire starting contest that helped her beat the final tribemate she had left during her season. This year she was the deciding factor that cost the Heros 2 wins even though they had huge leads. Tom knows she was his only ally and him and Colby tried to get in Cirie and Candace’s minds to turn them on Rupert, James, JT and Amanda. Sounds kind of Villianish!
February 19th, 2010 at 4:38 pm
Ashley, is Danielle a Villian? If not, that means the Heroes have six people in the Jury? JT, Candace, Amanda, Rupert, Colby and Danielle! That would put 6 Heroes against 6 Villians! And 6 vs 4 after Coach, Courtney are voted out. What happened? I wonder why they couldn’t pick off the last 4 Villians?
February 19th, 2010 at 5:34 pm
Ashley, have you heard anything else about the potential of a Russell Hanz vs Richard Hatch Survivor season from Missyae?
February 19th, 2010 at 5:41 pm
Duane, danielle is a villain and no I haven’t heard anything from missyae regarding future seasons.
February 19th, 2010 at 5:47 pm
Well, just finished watching last night’s Survivor. What an ugly episode. Where is all this anger coming from? Why would you keep Candace – good grief, she is a worthless whiner! You vote off a strong player after only 6 days on the island? Idiots. Go Villians – Kick Butte!!
February 19th, 2010 at 7:59 pm
52 Duane
Those were Jeff Probst comments, not mine
February 19th, 2010 at 8:00 pm
Lets take a vote. Who are you rooting for Villains or Hero’s
Skotie68 Villains – 1 point
February 19th, 2010 at 9:11 pm
I vote for Villans.
February 19th, 2010 at 9:27 pm
Villains – 2
Skotie68
Blackgirl
Hero’s – 0
February 19th, 2010 at 9:44 pm
I vote for the villains too.
February 19th, 2010 at 9:51 pm
Villains – 3
Skotie68
Blackgirl
Ashley
Hero’s – 0
February 19th, 2010 at 9:55 pm
Does anyone think Parvati or Sandra would have made it to the end without Russell? Or Parvati without using her sexuality and flirting to advance
February 19th, 2010 at 10:25 pm
VILLIANS!
February 19th, 2010 at 10:33 pm
Put me down for the Villians, too!
February 19th, 2010 at 10:44 pm
#38 blackgirl, I agree. What a nail biter that was! Team Canada will have to play much more cohesively if they don’t want a repeat of Olympic disaster 2006! I think they should have played Crosby more on the power play. Thank God he did embrace the pressure to score the shootout winner. As you said, Martin Brodeur was terrific. I also think that the Swiss had more fire in their bellies. They really wanted it, whereas Canada was a bit too complacent. I’m really looking forward to Sunday’s game against the US. Now that will show what they’re really made of … it should be a great game!
February 19th, 2010 at 11:59 pm
I say the Heroes aka Villians because the labelled heroes are acting like a bunch of Villians!
Villians all the way! Go Sandra since I know it is Sandra, Parvati and Russell in the final 3.
February 20th, 2010 at 12:05 am
I am for the Villaians!
The Heroes are actually being to manipulative at this point. Imagine that. You have 2 of the most DIABOLICAL minds to ever play Survivor on one team. Russell and Boston Rob = GAME OVER! You don’t have anyone like that for the Heroes. No one is willing to do the dirty work on their team. They also started making obvious alliances on Day 1. BAD IDEA. The level of manipulation in their camp is ridiculous for how early on in the game it is. I hope the Heroes go down in flames after this.
February 20th, 2010 at 1:17 am
I wish Boston Rob, Coach and Russell would have made the final 3. I wonder who would have won? Or even throw in James or Rupert in that mix? E fan favorites before this season who have become villians while Villian Boston Rob is liked like a hero and Coach is acting civil and Russell is still a jerk!
February 20th, 2010 at 12:25 pm
Does anyone know if we will start seeing more of Parvati and Sandra since they make the final 3? They already show a lot of Russell!
February 20th, 2010 at 12:38 pm
Hey Skotie 68; Where did you learn all this stuff about recovery, cause you are very right.
Blackgirl – you crack me up with “don’t give a shyt about Tiger.” I do like him, cause I always like athletes who are really good at their sport. (Of course, he seems to have some outside skills which he should have left at home.) Hope that James tones down a little and that Russell starts being his devious self again. Can’t believe that I like Boston Rob so much. He was such an obnoxious A$$ before. Hey, we are having a good run at the Olympics. Apolo is awesome and hope he does good tonight, and how about Bodie Miller? See what happens when you concentrate on your skiing and not on how wonderful you think you are? Good for him.
One last word about the Russian skater, Mr. Sour Grapes – he says that he should have won. Well, I watched Evan’s response last night, and he did not say one bad word about the Russian (I keep calling him that, cause I can’t spell his name correctly). He simply said that one move – the quad – does not make your program the best. Way to go Evan. I watched Curling a little bit more to see if I could get it and all it made me do is want to go sweep my kitchen floor. Ashley, who gets the boot this week on Survivor? And I know that I haven’t said this in awhile, but you are doing a GREAT JOB. Ok, the Olympics are about to come on, so I gotta go.

Ugly ugly ugly James….so much hatred towards women….so un-watchable. I do not want to see anything of this guy again – he’s rude and negative and really brings me down. Get rid of James….James only ever blames (women).

I agree 100% with Jeff Probst about Cirie. In her own words last week, she (and Amanda) are out for blood and she is stone cold gangster in this game and will sit and smile to your face while she’s knifing you. I love players like that!
She’s already positioned herself into a floater between the two sides, and that’s the best place to be until merge. Unfortunately, Tom has been on to her from the get and he’ll be her undoing. IMHO, she is one of the best strategic players of this game.
February 20th, 2010 at 11:43 pm
Skokie68, I am for the Villians too.
Cory, did you watch Fans vs Favorites? James was always sticking up and providing for women. He even made sure the other teams guys wouldn’t get away with roughing up Amanda. He is not bullying women by calling Stephanie out for not listening to the team. Ask anyone else if James can be considered a womanizer based on his first 2 seasons
February 21st, 2010 at 12:33 am
@Duane – Yeah has always stuck up for the women in his tribes. He just HATES losing. And he’s not afraid to say things that have to be said, even if it comes out in a rough way. Steph had the dress down coming to her because she cost them 2 immunity challenges. And both because she wouldn’t SHUT UP. The truth hurts sometimes.
February 21st, 2010 at 12:20 pm
#71 Summer – WOW! Did you see those two man bobsleders? Talk about ANIMALS!! If they were truly animals in the wild, these guys would eat their young!! Also watched Apollo come back to take the Bronze medal – Man, those Koreans were out for blood. Anyway, hope you’ve been enjoying the Olympics as much as I have – even when I really think these people must be nuts to endure what they have to endure to go for the GOLD!! I’m still holding out for the Couch Potato Olympics.
As for Tiger – I agree – leave him and his family alone. You know as well as I do – one win at the Master’s and ALL is forgiven!
February 21st, 2010 at 12:54 pm
Tom sticking up for Stephanie was like Russell sticking up for that one guy last year that Jason couldn’t stand. It was because he liked her and wanted a final 3 deal with her. It was because Tom needed Steph for numbers and to help him win!
The entire tribe seen that and Tom was hurt more because he has actually won the game.
JT Has won. But he doesn’t have any former tribemates to help him.
James, Cirie and Amanda have played together, but they have never won.
Conclusion, Tom had no chance of having him and Steph make it long in the game together!

Olympics have been great although the West Coast tape delay is a little frustrating. It a little boring during the day as they save all the good stuff of the evening when they get better Advertising prices. I’m really looking forward to Ski Cross tonight. Should be really exciting. And how about Short Track speed skating. Is there anymmore exciting olympic spectator sport. I’m biting my nails everytime I watch Apollo. Hopefully we can hang on to the Medal lead but it will be close.
On a side note, my brother is from Tahoe and I am best man at his wedding this May. She us to be on the US ski team. Julia Mancuso, who has won two Silver medals this year will be there along with some other team members. That should be a fun night. It crazy the life style people lead who grow up in the mountains by ski resort. So kicked back. My brother is a Hot shot’ (fire jumper) so he has the winters off. Gets up and ski’s everyday. I went skiing the other week at a resort he didnt have a season pass to and he simply hike from his house through the forest to the top of the hill to take a run with me. Hiked on Ski’s for about 2 hours for a 5 minute run and then did it all over again a second time.
Click on my name to see the Sledding course he made for us when I brought my kids up

im still cheering for the heroes. and yeah who ever was saying that james hates women is just using that one incident (which had nothing to do with her being a women and more to do with her costing the tribe victories) to try to make him seem like a womaniser. i guarantee if james and Randy where in the same tribe james would go after him also. that would actaully be quite funny now taht i think about it…

Will someone please give me some Amazing Race spoliers news? Like who the final 3 teams are and who wins? What is a spoiler website for the Amazing Race? Thank you!
February 21st, 2010 at 10:06 pm
The brothers / cowboys did awesome today. I think it was kind of jerkish to not tell the other teams about the other bus terminal! I guess it is a game though?
February 21st, 2010 at 10:12 pm
I would have done the same thing as the cowboys. They are racing for a million dollars and a prize for first place for each leg of the race. The other teams should have checked to see where the bus was coming in. They were ignorant for not doing that and therefore lost time. It definitely wasn’t the cowboys responsibility.
February 21st, 2010 at 10:25 pm
Yes, but isn’t that what Boston Rob and Amber and the poker team were accused of for not helping other teams?
Ashley, I thought the poker ladies from last year would be on this season? Do you know what happened with them? Also, do you know who the last 3 teams this season of TAR are and what team wins?
February 22nd, 2010 at 1:25 am
I love the cowboys! I’d have done the same thing. It was a totally different situation with Rob and Amber who at one point chose to drive right by another team who had crashed their vehicle and rolled over. They didn’t even stop to see if they were okay. I’m positive given that kind of situation, the cowboys would have offered help immediatly. Checking to see where the bus was leaving from is just common sense. The cowboys didn’t owe the other teams that information or help.
I do not like the lesbian couple. I think they’ll implode soon. I can sum them up in three words: tempers, tears, tantrums.
Louie and Michael seem like stumbling comic movie detectives to me.
I like the gay/straight brothers who have a great sense of humor and seem to be having a good time.
Miss Geography and her model boyfriend … Meh. Whatever.
Jeff is a nice guy. Jordan looks uncomfortable without her make-up and I think will be increasingly out of element.
Too bad about Team Granny. I wish they could have stayed longer.
February 22nd, 2010 at 8:33 am
I agreee about the cowboys. It is a race for a million dollars so why should they help the dumb alliance. The cowboys were smart to check the bus schedule.
February 22nd, 2010 at 11:22 am
****SPOILER ALERT****
THE AMAZING RACE
Duane, i searched the web and found the final 3 at RFF. There was someone on the plane from Shanghai to San Francisco and he said there were four team members on the plane. The fourth team were supposedly the decoy team and they were Louis and Michael. The team in first place got to exit before anyone else on the plane and therefore had about a 30 minute head start and that was Daniel/Jordan. The other two teams were Jet/Cord and Brent/Caite. I have no idea who wins and take this with a grain of salt because I have no idea how true it is.

Hey Cooper – question. I saw on the news that it costs over $3,000 for tickets for the Hockey games. Is that for the whole package, or just one game? Just curious. Hope that you have a great time at the closing ceremonies. Skotie 68. You are to be congratulated. Kicking a habit is really tough, cause I know people who went through that hell. Kutos to you guy. Jeanne, yes, I am really enjoying the Olympics, I am even beginning to catch on to Curling. Guess that is because I sweep a lot. Hee, hee.
Kutos to Bodie on his gold, and how about the USA Hockey team. Pulling for Apolo everytime that he puts on skates. I really loved him on Dancing with the Stars. Bobsleds are brutal, and Jeanne, they are ANIMALS. Wish our team had done a little better. But— we are doing pretty good at everything. Hey, Blackgirl, is this the AR that Jeff and Jordan are on, cause I haven’t been watching it cause I can’t bear another minute of those two. Anyway, if they are gone, I may catch it on Sunday nights. Spring is less than 30 days away. Horray.

oh no….
“Allegations that Fox’s shelved game show “Our Little Genius” might have been rigged has prompted an inquiry by the Federal Communications Commission into possible violations of federal rules that govern quiz shows.
Revelations of the FCC probe follows the News Corp.-owned network’s decision last month to yank the highly promoted program from its schedule only a week before it was supposed to premiere. Fox took the unusual step after reality-show titan Mark Burnett, who was producing the program, informed the network that there was a problem with how the young contestants had been coached for the competition.”

#83 Skotie – That ski cross was cool, but, really, what’s the point? First person down the hill wins? Maybe it’s speed skating on skis – Will admit, I enjoyed it even though it left me a little perplexed.
February 22nd, 2010 at 12:22 pm
# 95 Jeanne
lol, did you notice how old most of the guys were. A lot of guys were in their 30’s. It seems like a sport where the down hillers move onto in their later years. Snowboard cross is much funner to watch. It seems like its harder to catch up in Ski cross so the leader usually wins.
February 22nd, 2010 at 12:29 pm
#96 Skotie – Yeah, exactly! If you weren’t first out of the gates in Ski Cross, you weren’t going to win Gold for sure. I felt sorry for the one kid who was sking for Canada – a real troubled kid who turned his life around – he crashed and burned when he was in Bronze position! Said he was going for the Gold and didn’t want the Bronze – huh?
February 22nd, 2010 at 1:01 pm
#97 Jeanne
Just thought of something. If they really want an extreme sport they should do Ski cross on the Super G course. How cool would that be!
February 22nd, 2010 at 1:50 pm
#93 Summer, the tickets for the hockey games cost $500.00 – $1500 each depending on the seats, but some have been selling on the blackmarket for outrageous prices of over $3000 each!! We drive down to Vancouver on Friday for the closing ceremonies on Sunday. I can’t wait!
February 22nd, 2010 at 2:53 pm
Ashley, thanks for the info about the Amazing Race. Does show show ussually use a decoy team like this?
February 22nd, 2010 at 5:53 pm
#98 Skotie – Yes, I agree! That would really be exciting – more of a challenge.
#99 Cooper – I was thinking about you last night when they cut into the broadcast to show the end of the USA/Canada hockey game. Wish they had shown the entire game – it must have been a real barn burner!
February 22nd, 2010 at 10:26 pm
#102 Jeanne, OH My God, I had almost chewed off my finger nails by the end of last night’s game!! It was Miller Time all the way … best goalie in the NHL, I believe. Canada out shot the US 45 to 18, but Miller was amazing! The dude’s a rockstar! We’re putting in Luongo for the do-or-die game tomorrow against Germany. Brodeur really wasn’t up to snuff last night. Ditto Pronger and Thornton. If we beat Germany and then Russia (which will be much harder), we still have a chance. I’m ever the optimist. I’d LOVE to see a re-match with the US for the gold medal! On a side note, I was proud to see that despite losing, the many thousands of disappointed fans that poured out afterwards into the Vancouver streets were still upbeat, civil and courteous. No reports of any angst filled damage or violence.

#102 Cooper – You’ll be able to hear me cheering on Canada – it’s going to be tough – they don’t get much rest between games. Well, Go Canada – at least until we have to play you again!
