Survivor 20: Episode 5 Spoiler Alert
update: from missyae – They are starting the buildup to Russell vs Rob. Those 2, plus Coach are supposed to be in an alliance but Russell stabs Rob in the back and Jerri has the deciding vote, I think, that makes Rob leave instead of Russell. Lots of idols coming, lots, gets crazy, tons of idols.
Sandra will have 2 before its over to use. Jerri will have 1. Russell has 4 total at one time or another. Parv has a few. Tom had 1. JT will have 1 but gives it up.

This week we see the return of schmergen ball. The challenge with a history of producing injuries and this time around is no exception. James goes down with an injury to his knee. In Samoa this was Immunity/Reward challenge. For H v. V it is looking like just the reward challenge but it is quite possible it could be a combination again.
James goes down and Probst calls for medical.
Whatever the immunity challenge is we know the Villains once again are the winners. I’m not sure what happens at the Heroe’s camp but Tom gets the boot this week. Should be interesting to see if JT flips on him after joining him to get rid of Cirie.

I bet Knights of the Round Table has to do with Coach and his nobility obsession. It’s probably from a food-reward, and he’s probably toasting to everyone seated around some exotic picnic table.
It could probably be from Rupert, too… I could see him waxing philosophically to the camera about some bipartisan agreement that he brokered between Colby, Tom, JT, and James.

if you want to get deeper. knight sof the round table could be a reference to a player that thought he had a bunch of loyal “Knights” just to have one go lancelot and betray him and hence he refers to the knights of the round table. probobly coach though who would bring it up. also is this the injury that james gets voted out for having?

Huttsean, yes this is the James injury which will get him the sympathy vote out in a couple of weeks.
I also think the knights of the round table will have something to do with coach.

They showed Coach doing a Tai Chi session with the castaways, but don’t know if that would have anything to do with Knights of Round Table.

Ashley. I just took my 3 year old (although he is 4 on Wednesday: lol) It was fine. A beast loses an eye at one point but nothing graphic or anything. I’d say no problem to take him.

Ashley, I notice that you are working hard as POSTMASTER for both this site and Reality Rewind. It certainly looks like a lot of extra work on your part to run both sites. There is a lot going on at Reality Rewind, where this site is more focused (well, for the most part) on Survivor. My only concern is Survivor might get lost in the shuffle if this site closed and moved. Ultimately, I think this is your call; you are the one who has to work both places.

Ashley, one more thought before I head to the TV for a self-induced, four day, basketball stupor. I have noticed our peeps numbers have declined, with somewhat less participation here. Moving this site to Reality Rewind might, in fact, allow more peeps to participate. Just a thought before my brain turns to basketball mush!

Jeanne, that is what I’m struggling with. I don’t want survivor to get lost with all the other stuff going on in the reality tv world but the numbers here are declining so I don’t know what Matt is thinking about that. Right now I don’t know what to do.

Ashley, it’s half time so I’m back for a minute. The activity on this site certainly picks up around the time the show airs, then it tends to drop off. Let’s face it, the weather outside is nicer and I would assume more people will naturally be spending more time outside instead of at the computer (me included). Also, since we are currently in the midst of season #20, would it be feasible to keep this site up and going until the end of this season and then merge it with Reality Rewind? By that time it will almost be time for Big Brother to begin and I would assume you’d put that on Reality Rewind. I agree with Skotie, I like this format and the peeps. Just wish there were more of us like there use to be. Okay, back to my b-ball stupor!

Jeanne, The site definitely wouldn’t change mid season and matt makes the final call so I’m sure it will remain up until season 21 and then he will probably evaluate it and see if there’s enough interest to keep it going.

@ Ashley…PLEASE tell Matt that you have to keep this site up and running !!!!! On last weeks show I think Candice was right to want James out.He is nothing but a big cry-baby and would do anything to stay in the game. He should have been gone a few weeks ago !!! He will not be able to do much of anything with his knee bummed up.He even thought he would be able to win a race with Jeff….give me a break !!!Amanda needs to go also and soon.I don’t know how Rupert got by slamming Jerri’s face into the pole . I believe that he wanted her out of the game. But I guess she showed him.The bit with the chocolate candy passed to Colby and Rupert,they were very rude to Jeff, I was so glad to hear him put them in their place,good for Jeff.Not quite sure about Coach and Russell together. I thought it was dumb for Russell to tell he had the idol. I still want Russell to win the whole game. I do believe he plays the best game ever.
