Survivor Caramoan episode 11 luxury challenege

Tonight’s Survivor features the obviously-save-your-money-and-don’t-buy-peanut-butter auction competition. Gee, I wonder if there’s something better at the end than a hot shower or a letter from home? Time to find out who can hold on and win the Immunity Challenge clue. More importantly, tonight’s Caramoan episode will be Phillip-free. Bonus!

Let’s see if the Three Amigos can do their thing! Who will be voted out tonight on Survivor 2013?

The castaways head off to the food auction as their luxury challenge substitute for the week. Each player has $500 to use with no sharing of money or food.

First item is beer and peanuts for $20. Malcolm buys it! What?! He immediately admits it was a terrible mistake.

Second item is blind. Reynold buys it for $180 and discover it’s one slice of pizza. Sherri buys the rest of the pizza for $500.

Third auction is for a whole roasted chicken. Dawn jumps on it with $500.

Next round is the coveted game information and Malcolm gets it for $480 without contest. It’s a descriptive map to another Immunity Idol. Malcolm has 60 seconds to study and memorize it.

Fifth item is hidden and Andrea buys it for $280. She is offered spaghetti and meatballs with wine. But wait! Jeff tempts her to trade that for rice and beans for the whole tribe. She takes the swap.

Sixth auction is for an advantage in the Immunity challenge. Cochran outbids Reynold and Brenda and gets it for $340. It’s a sealed clue that he has to keep until the challenge begins.

The seventh item is blind and Brenda gets it for $300. It’s pig brain. She is stunned and tries a bite.

Next item is a letter from home. Anyone with $20 can have a letter. Malcolm, Dawn, and Sherri go without a letter.

Last item is a bowl of peanut butter to be shared among the group. Eddie pays for it and shares it with everyone. And that’s the end of the Survivor auction.

Side note, watching everyone scrape peanut butter off their face and hands back in to a community jar to eat later is pretty nasty to think about.

It’s time for the Immunity Challenge “Drop a Log.” Cochran gets to open his advantage and discovers he can move his hand up two knots at any point in the competition. That’s huge and Cochran could definitely use that.

Everyone remains in the competition through the first and second knots. Cochran uses his advantage as they move to the third knot. Good choice.

All the castaways are still in the battle as they get to the last knot. Brenda is the first to drop. Eight remain. Erik goes next.

Thirty minutes in to the challenge as the castaways are down below the last knot and just have rope to hold on to. Sherri drops then Malcolm follows behind her. Andrea is out leaving four in the battle for Immunity. Dawn is shouting in discomfort and drops her log. Cochran must now survive Eddie and Reynold.

It’s Eddie and Cochran after Reynold drops his log. Eddie is seriously slipping as the rope runs out of his hand. Cochran wins Immunity. Again! That was a very worthwhile purchase at the auction.

Someone is going to be sent home tonight at the Tribal Council, but it won’t be Cochran.

At Tribal Council the plan is clear. Vote out Malcolm or settle for Reynold. As long as no one flips to join the Three Amigos.

After six votes there’s a three way tie with Malcolm, Reynold, and Andrea. After nine votes the tie remains. Malcolm, Andrea, and Reynold can’t vote. Everyone else must vote for one of them. Looks like the end of Malcolm’s game.

Jeff tallies the votes again and reveals… Malcolm is voted off Survivor tonight.

Did the tribe make the right decision tonight?
