Francesca became the first person to be voted off Survivor 2013 Caramoan, making this the second time she was the first to have her torch snuffed.
A lot of people were surprised to see a favorite over a fan be the first to go, but that’s just how it goes.
During her exit interview the day after her elimination, Francesca said she had a lot of fun on the show and that she’s grateful to have gotten the chance to do it twice. But she doesn’t think we’ll be seeing her again. She’s also kind of bummed that she trusted people she shouldn’t have.
“It is just a game, but it’s definitely different coming out here a second time,” Francesca said. “It definitely hurt me that I was friends with some of the people I was playing with. It made me trust them when I shouldn’t have trusted them. In Survivor, nothing is for certain.”
“I was completely honored to be back,” she added. After the way the first time played out, she thought she was more prepared and certainly wouldn’t be repeating it.
“I think this is the last you’ll see of me,” she said with a laugh.
