Survivor 2017 Season 34 Theme Revealed: Game Changers

Survivor 2017 has revealed its Season 34 theme as “Game Changers” bringing back past players and some who have even already made a few passes through the Survivor turnstile.

Survivor 2017 Season 34 Game Changers

Confirmed during tonight’s Survivor 2016 finale we’ve got our first official look at a few of the next season’s castaways so let’s get on with the sneak peek details at next spring’s Survivor season returning in March 2017.

Out on stage during the S33 finale we saw Jeff confirm these former castaways making their return to the Survivor beach for “Game Changers” as just a sample of next seasons full cast:

  • Michaela Bradshaw
  • Ciera Eastin
  • Ozzy Lusth
  • Caleb Reynolds
  • Sanda Diaz-Twine
  • Cirie Fields
  • Tai Trang
  • Tony Vlachos

Here’s that group brought out on stage minus Michaela who was up in the stands with the S33 cast:

Okay, definitely some fun names in this first list, but “Game Changers”? That’s pretty bold. I guess you couldn’t call it “Second Chances” when you’re bringing someone like Ozzy back for his fourth season. But that’s the theme and we’ll see it all play out next March.

With Hunted running until March 1st on Wednesday nights that pushes Survivor 2017 out to March 8th for its anticipated season premiere which pushes the whole season farther out in to May, if they don’t cut it short which I wouldn’t really expect.

So what do you think of Survivor Season 34 bringing back past players, some for the umpteenth time, in lieu of all new castaways? We’ve had good seasons with both so maybe this will be fun for a balance and there are a lot of strong histories in the cast list, even if I wouldn’t call them all “game changers.”

We’ll have more on the next season of Survivor soon so be sure to join us on Facebook, Twitter, and get our Email Updates for more Survivor because there’s always more Survivor!
