Survivor 2018: David Vs. Goliath Week 05 Gallery [Pics]

This week’s Survivor 2018 was another drama-filled trip. The castaways were evacuated from the island because of a cyclone, and Tribal Council was once again wild. And we’ve got an exclusive photo gallery to recap it all.

At the start of the episode we had Kara and Alec talking through Alec’s possibly dumb move voting out Natalia in the previous episode. That means their alliance is in the minority in their tribe and leaves the overall Goliath numbers barely in the majority. But that’s all soon forgotten when the tribes get some tree mail telling them the pending storm is far too dangerous to let them ride it out so they’re being evacuated. No word on where they stayed and for how long, but safety was the top priority.

After the castaways return to their camps to find them nearly destroyed from the storm, it’s time for a little relief in the form of a reward challenge. The tribes are playing for live chickens and eggs. The two tribes to finish first and earn reward were Vuku and Jabeni.

Next up is the immunity challenge and it was a close race. But in the end it was Vuku and Tiva that finished first and second and won immunity. That means Jabeni headed off to tribal.

At Tribal Council it seemed pretty cut and dry that Lyra would be going home since the original Goliaths had the majority. But like last week, Mike decided to take Alec’s lead and flip and write Natalie’s name down. In the end, it all came down to Natalie’s attitude and how hard she has been to live with. Angelina still voted for Lyrsa to go, but she was pretty aware that Mike wanted Natalie gone. Angelina was really only worried about getting the jacket of the person voted out anyway. But she remains jacketless as Natalie completely ignored her request on her way out.
