Survivor 2018 Ponderosa: Christian Hubicki Arrives [Video]

Last night on Survivor 2018 the head of the David snake was finally slayed. After survivor week after week as the main target, Survivor 37 frontrunner Christian Hubicki became the seventh juror and will help decide who wins the million dollars during next week’s season finale.

But for now we have his Ponderosa video to share with you along with some photos from his time as a juror. Christian, despite being a man of many words, didn’t give us a lot of quotes to work with, but he did offer a nice lesson in how to play Survivor.

“From the beginning of the game I announced myself as a big threat,”Christian explains. “Really, I Knew that I had to embrace who I was in hopes that at some point they’d just get used to it and forget.”

And of course they did not forget. As we all know, Christian remained a target for the entirety of the game and lasted longer than such a target should. So that is truly a testament of how well he studied and played Survivor. There’s a reason he lived at No. 1 on our Survivor Player Rankings the entire season. He is such a Survivor scholar, that most of his video below is him teaching the other jurors “The Science of Survivor.” And just when you think they’re getting bored you notice Gabby is actually taking notes and Alec and Dan are in awe of a point Christian makes about Carl’s Idol Nullifier that killed Dan’s chances at winning the game.

Be sure to check out Christian’s video below as he gets his shocking first look at himself in 35+ days and orders everything on the menu. Which is understandable as he just learned he lost 15 pounds while playing Survivor David vs. Goliath.
