I dont think I would do well on Survivor for the sole reason that I hate camping and will never again attempt to do. I would do Big Brother though.
January 22nd, 2010 at 10:30 am
Hey blackgirl! I think I would do either one but not at this moment in my life. I’m trying to get my husband to submit a video but he would have to get a passport and I don’t think we have time for it so maybe next year.

January 22nd, 2010 at 12:24 pm
Let’s see – can’t live without my coffee in the morning – rules out Survivor – don’t really travel that well – rules out Amazing Race – not overweight (well, not by much) – rules out Biggest Loser – can’t sing – rules out Idol – have two left feet – rules out DWTS – not rich or flashy – rules out Real Housewives of Orange County – married – rules out Bachlorette. Hummm – guess I’ll have to wait for the debut of the new reality show – No Talent American Couch Potato!
January 22nd, 2010 at 12:31 pm
Jeanne, you too funny. What about Big Brother?
January 22nd, 2010 at 12:31 pm
Lol Jeanne! I’m going to try out for that one too!
January 22nd, 2010 at 12:32 pm

#5 blackgirl – look to scary in a bikini for Big Brother!
January 22nd, 2010 at 5:15 pm
Jeanne.. I would ROCK No Talent American Couch Potato!!
My wife seems to think I would be voted out week one of any of these shows with my personality!
The only one I’ve tried out for is BL — 3 times! The first time with my wife, they pulled her aside for a deeper interview and we didn’t hear back from them.. I’ve dreamed of BB and my ultimate would be AR.. but I couldn’t get my wife to do half the stunts from last year.. Seriously.. climb down the side of Mandalay Bay face first!! Even the water slide that the dumb southern chick refused to do freaked ME out!
My wife says there’s never been an overweight houseguest on BB.. however we’ve never really watched the first 8 seasons and seriously started it with S10 & 11 — I can be him!

I’m thinking of failed or short-term CBS reality shows — anyone remember that RIDICULOUS pirate one that even THEY cancelled and finished online.
I liked “there goes the neighborhood” and I’m totally looking forward to the one where the boss comes to work as a low-level employee to see what they do — looks awesome!!
January 22nd, 2010 at 5:19 pm
Sorry for all the posts… I read a story about the new AR cast and was mad that they really didn’t highlite Jeff & Jordan — rather than retarded miss teen usa kid who couldn’t answer a simple question — but she is amazingly pretty — i will give her that… looking forward to seeing her without all the glitz and glamor and make-up, etc
January 22nd, 2010 at 8:52 pm
I’d shrivel up to about 140 pounds. Think I’ll pass.
January 22nd, 2010 at 11:28 pm
#10 Scotty K – Yes, I remember the Pirate reality show – well, sort of, since it was on for about ten minutes before it was cancelled – what a stinker of a show – P U !
If you want to do one of the shows and are serious about it, keep trying! The big winner on Jeopardy this week said he had tried out like a dozen times before it got on the show. BUT tell them you will NOT repel down the face of Mandalay Bay – Yipes – that creeped me out!

Hey, peeps, have you seen the new promos for Heroes/Villians? They seem to show different castaways in each commercial/promo. My boy, KarmaMan, says he’s going to be the Dragon Slayer once again!!! Well, lots of basketball today – off to put on my game face! Later.

Hello everyone. I commented further in the sad post below this one, but I’ve been MIA because my beautiful Nana died suddenly almost two weeks ago.
I would totally love to be on Amazing Race with my fiancee. However, Canadians are presently not allowed to apply. If this ever changes, I’ll post my audition video here and you can all give me suggestions for improvement!
Scotty, that new reality show with the big boss masquerading as a lowly employee sounds great. What is it called? Do you have any details as to when it starts etc.?
#4 Jeanne, love it! Love your wit, humor and joy in life.
January 23rd, 2010 at 1:11 pm
Cooper, so sorry to hear about your loss.
January 23rd, 2010 at 3:21 pm
#15 Cooper – So sorry for your loss – healing prayers coming your way, kiddo!
The new show is called Undercover Boss, I think. It really does sound like fun.
Glad your back with us.
January 23rd, 2010 at 3:32 pm
Hey Cooper,I am so sorry to hear about your loss.Just keep the faith. Watching some Aussie Open tennis..love Raffa Nadal.
January 24th, 2010 at 6:10 pm
Cooper, you will be in my prayers. LOVE THOSE COLTS!!! They will play in the SuperBowl. Hip, hip, and all that stuff. This next game is going to be really hard to watch, cause I like the Saints, and I like Brett Favre. I wouldn’t be on Survivor – cause I hate camping.
And I wouldn’t be on Big Brother if they paid me 2 million dollars. Don’t like people knowing my business, and being under BBs eye for 24/7. Also, I don’t like to live with weirdos, or dummies, and I know that I would cause a lot of problems trying to get along with people like Jeff and Jordan. 18. Blackgirl, I also love Raffa. He is SO good and SO cute. Gotta go watch the 2nd football game, so I will catch ya’ll later.

Sorry Saints fans, but you aren’t gonna like what I have to say. All along, it didn’t matter to me who won this game, because I like the Vikings and I liked the Saints equally. But– as the game progressed, I really became pissed off at all of the late hits on Favre, and the officials not calling any of them. They should have been called for the “late hits” at least 11 times, and they were not out to sack Favre, they were out to disable him. Shame on the Saints for playing this way, and even more so, shame on the Officials. This is the WORST game of officiating that I have ever seen, and I hope that the Saints LOSE BIG in the superbowl. GO COLTS!! I hope that the Saints are proud of the way that they won the game. I really think they played dirty, and didn’t deserve the win, and I have never been so disgusted with a playoff game. I am NOT saying that quarterbacks should be treated with kid gloves, but I think they should be protected when the opposing team hits them late over and over again. What a bunch of CRAPOLA.
January 24th, 2010 at 10:37 pm
Soooo happy the Saints will be marching in Miami. Congrats to New Orleans they really needed this. Hats off to the city of New Orleans. Who Dat.
January 24th, 2010 at 10:38 pm
Sorry Blackgirl cause I really disagree. I am no longer a Saints fan.
January 24th, 2010 at 10:42 pm
That’s OK Summer. I thought they played tough and they deserve the win.
January 25th, 2010 at 10:13 am
Blackgirl. They kept doing it because they kept getting away with it. Even their coach before the game said they were going to “take Favre out.” If the Vikings Defense had done this to Drew Brees, I would be all over their Butts. There were MANY bad calls and no calls in this game on both sides. The officials must be members of the “Mr. McGoo” fan club. I am hoping that turn about is fair play and that the Colts wipe the floor with them. Playing tough is one thing – playing dirty is something totally different. But, that’s ok Blackgirl. We are still friends, just rooting for different teams in the Big Game.

Hey, bros and broettes. I watched US Figure Skaing the other night. Love Sasha Cohen and wish that she could put it together. She is an extremely talented and graceful performer. But– I have been raking my brain trying to think of the name of the US Lady Skater who was SO good, and was between Kristy Yamaguchi and Michelle Kwan. I know that her coach was Frank somebody, and she dropped him, went on her own, etc. Can anybody tell me who she was? Thanks
January 25th, 2010 at 10:28 am
Hey Summer, we will see in Miami. The Saints will march right pass Peyton and the Colts. We are still buds of course..we cant agree all the time, how boring would that be.
January 25th, 2010 at 10:36 am
Summer, are you talking about Tara Lipinski. She was awesome
January 25th, 2010 at 11:03 am
Frank Carroll was Michelle Kwan’s coach from 1991-2001. She was then coached by Scott Williams until 2003 when she hired Rafael Arutunian.
January 25th, 2010 at 11:45 am
Hey blackgirl, the bachelors on tonight thank god! I need my reality tv fix.
January 25th, 2010 at 11:55 am
Hey Ashley, will have to tivo the bachelor because I have to watch 24.
January 25th, 2010 at 3:34 pm
Ashley. Thanks, girl. I kept thinking there was somebody else in between, but if Michelle was coached by Frank Carrol, then it was her. Now I can sleep at night. hee, hee. Don’t you just hate it when something gets stuck in your head and you can’t get it out? Blackgirl – sorry, girlfriend, but the Saints ain’t gonna march away with a victory. Peyton Manning, (one of the greatest QBS of all time) and his team – Addai, a talented rb, & Peyton’s great band of receivers, old and new, are gonna run them out of town. I like Drew Brees, even tho I now hate the Saints defense, but he is not the genius on the field that Peyton is. So— Blackgirl, get out your crying towel. hee, hee.
There’s a lot coming up that we are gonna be able to talk about my dear bros and broettes – Survivor, and the Olympics too. It’a gonna be a BUSY, BUSY site. And of course, we got the Superbowl.
Blackgirl, I also liked Tara – she was a real cutie, and great on the ice. Did you all hear about Nancy Kerrigan’s dad being assaulted by the son, and then dying? What is going on in this world? Does everybody have to hate everybody? Also, that evil woman from Florida – Casey Anthony is now a convicted felon, and I really hope that she gets convicted of killing her sweet little daughter – Caylee. I don’t understand how people can do the things that they do. I guess that I was just raised in a “kinder and gentler
and double
I’m so confident that I am willing to put up some money. Got a nickel you want to lose?
world” by great parents. OR–maybe, I am just a sweet person? hee, hee.
January 25th, 2010 at 11:50 pm
#20 Summer – Gotta agree. Someone told the Saints to “get that old fart quarterback, Favre”. AND, they did – time and time again they pounded his scrawnie butt into the ground. He got NO protection from his own offensive players. Favre said tonight that his return next year was highly unlikely. You know, Summer, the guy has to finally come to grips with the fact that he’s too old to play the game. Football is a young, angry man game – and is no place for anyone who is 40, in my humble opinion. That being said, he should go down in history as one of the best quarterbacks to ever play the game.
And, yes, let the fun begin – Survivor, Amazing, Olympics – we can all just have one big ole’ gab-fest – WOOP!
January 26th, 2010 at 10:34 am
Hey Jeanne. Old or not, I like Brett Favre and always will. If a person can still play, it shouldn’t matter how old they are, and at 40, he outplayed most of the league. I hope that he comes back another year, but the looks on his wife’s face each time that he was hit
“AFTER the ball had left his hands,” was pure agony and I think she is going to ask him to retire so that she doesn’t have to go through that again. You are right – he is one of the greatest QBs to ever play the game, and another of the greatest – Peyton Manning will be playing in the superbowl. I love that guy cause he is a fantastic player, and such a good guy off the field. His dry sense of humor in his commercials just cracks me up!!! Hey, from the news today, sounds like Elan Woods knows how to swing a club as good as her “Tiger.” I think that she scared the crap out of him, but I still think that she needs to leave him cause I don’t think he is ever going to stop chasing skirt. I will continue watching him play golf, though, cause he is a genius on the greens. Some guys never learn that one skirt is the same as another, and is not worth losing your family over. I went with a guy like that once, and when I found out what he was doing, I kicked him to the curb. But my greatest satisfaction is when after a couple of years, he came begging on his hands and knees, and I told him to get lost. I don’t need that kind of crapola in my life, and now I know that he is just plain miserable without me. Hee, hee.
January 26th, 2010 at 1:49 pm
#33 Summer – Peyton Manning is a hoot in those commercials – when he retires he could certainly move on to color commentary! I’m with you on Tiger – he’s the ONLY reason I watch golf, which means I won’t be watching much golf until his return!
