Blackgirl and Skotie. Thanks for the Happy Birthday. Gosh darn it, I am another year older, and wiser I hope. Hey, Skotie, don’t give up your day job, but I liked the little poem. Wonder what Barney is getting me for a gift? Haven’t seen anything around the house. Probably mad at me cause I gave him a good combing today, and he really hates that. But– I am not going out to celebrate until Friday, so I will have a nice glass of wine, and toast myself for being such a good girl the last year. Hee, hee, even I had trouble keeping a straight face saying that. Later, gators.

everyone, today I volunteered at the local animal rescue and adoption and it was so great and sad at the same time. I loved helping those dogs. I’m suppose to try and help them socialize. There was a group of chihuahau’s they rescued from a hoarder. I had never heard this term before but apparently there are people who just collect dogs and cats and then just throw them in their backyards and stuff and never take care of them. This lady had 50 freakin dogs all in a kennel in her backyard. These dogs, some of them like 2 and 3 years old, had never been touched or petted or played with and they were scared to death for you to come near them. It was awful but rewarding to help. For any animal lovers out there who have extra time these are great places to volunteer and they do not have enough help.

Skotie. If you like cold weather, and skiing and ice skating and freezing your tush off in the winter, you will love Michigan. The other seasons of the year are magnificent. Ashley… I’ve volunteered and adopted from shelters before — my favorite is in NY called North Shore Animal League.. they are the largest no-kill shelter and I think have locations in other cities!
The hard part is wanting to bring them all home and that’s what’s stopped me from doing it in Vegas… lots of douchebags here dumping their pets!
I would however love a chihuahua… where is your shelter located? Can you email me at facebookscotty at cox dot net.. thanks!!
I’m also not going to be a regular here for this coming season as I’ve been spoiled enough for it and don’t it spoiled anymore… will check in and will definitely be around for S12 of BB!!!

Ashely you go girl my hubby did that for the dog pound he would help out with abanded pit bulls and the dog pound came over yesterday and said he had a good heart but my hubby stopet about four years ago because of his age.

June, they told me at the shelter today that usually they have a lot of pit bulls. Right now there is none. They have a dachsund, english bulldog, boxer, shephard puppies,labs, and a lot of mixed.

jUNE 31. Buy the video from Amazon.com. It’s wonderful, and it will make you cry. He was such a genius. I hear that his kids will accept an award for him on the Grammy’s. Such a shame that Michael couldn’t control his demons. OH NO, LOTS OF SNOW!!! We have about 5 inches, and much more coming. It’s beautiful, and I would like it if it only snowed on the ground, and not on streets, driveways, etc. Barney, however, now loves it. When I let him out this morning, he went out on the porch, and just barked at it. Then he came into the house, looked out the window, saw it coming down, and barked and barked. Finally his little bladder couldn’t stand it anymore, so he gave up and went out. WATCH OUT GUYS!! He went up to his little poodle knees, and then started plowing with his nose, jumping, yarping, and covering all of the back yard. I stayed on the porch, and just shivered. We are supposed to get more of this stuff, up to 12 inches. Ughhhhh!! Are you guys getting snow, and how much? Let me know. Take care, and wear your rubbers, warm coats, and mittens. Especially your rubbers. Hee, hee, hee!!! Jeanne – Barney does hate the computer. Everytime I am on the computer, and he comes into the room, he comes over to the connections, and disconnets them. Not much to talk about survivor but in two weeks we will have survivor,TAR and the Olympics to discuss.I love both winter and summer olympics so I am soo looking forward to that.. its in Cooper’s province. #44 Summer – We only got a trace of snow last night and the sun is out melting it away – however, we still have huge mounds of snow all over town from our 10 inches of snow on Christmas Eve. Spring can NOT get here fast enough for me! Glad Barney is having fun in the snow! Stay in and stay warm . . .

About 30 miles outside S.F. here but I do work in the city. Make it up to Tahoe much? It’s has a great snowpack this year. Now if we would just cut off the diversion of watch to L.A. we should be good to water our lawns this summer eh?

#55 Ashley – The best part of the whole show was the Elton/GaGa duet. My husband and I went to see Elton John, who was the first performer at the new Sprint Center is Kansas City, MO. That was, without a doubt, the greatest concert I have ever been to in my life – and I’ve been to a LOT of concerts. My motto now is I no longer need to go to any concert by anyone because nothing and I mean NOTHING could be as awesome as an evening with Elton John! Just incredible!

Ashley – Sorry, but the duet between Lady Gag-Gag and Elton JOhn was just too fairy for me.
Elton John has so much talent, and Lady Gag Gag has a beautiful voice, but their Fairy Crap Way of entertaining is just too over the top for me. Yes, I want to be entertained, but I don’t want to be nausated. Look, I have gay friends, but they would go a lot further in life to be accepted if they would stop all this over the top crap. Sorry, but that is the way I feel, and my gay friends feel the same way. The Grammys – Crappola. Green Day was wonderful, and I love their music. The Country Western Band, and I apologize for not knowing their names, cause I was losing interest fast, but the lead guy wore a knitted cap, they were great. Pink, didn’t understanding what she was doing with the aerials, but she is a good singer. The tribute to MJ was not great, but I loved watching his kids – they are really growing up. NOw to Taylor Swift – I just don’t get it with her. THIS GIRL CANNOT SING WORTH A DARN. Everything she did tonight, and everytime I heard her sing is OFF KEY. Maybe she can write songs, but she can’t sing worth a DANG. I am a musician, and I know talent when I hear it, and she doesn’t have it. Can’t believe that she has gone this far. We still have snow, and I hate driving it, and hopefully it will be gone shortly. Take care everybody.

Jeanne 47. Glad that you agree. Sometimes I wonder how lack of talent like her, rises to the top. I think she stinks. June, I also like Pink, and although I didn’t understand the aerial, it was very beautiful and fun to watch.
Snow, snow, go away, Vamoos – get lost, go Colorado or to the ski resorts. The roads are awful, the sidewalks are slippery, and I am getting cabin fever. Come on Spring and Summer!! Barney likes the snow, and is having a nice time plowing the back yard for me, but I am really tired of it. Ok Blackgirl, where is your nickel to bet on the Super Bowl?
