well I have Russell S in my survior pool. I don;t know how well he will fair, but the pot is up to $200 so it would be nice if he won!! lol

Im looking forward to seeing Erik. I feel a little obligated to root for him cause he’s Canadian and so am I!

@ Everyone…. What do you think of the spoilers and the Chief of tribe twist?

I don’t even know what to think just yet. I can’t wait to see how the selection process ends up. I wonder if they get to talk to each other before they decide about the chief, or if like last time they have to go based on looks.

Leo-Congrats on the new site.Looks great! I won’t guess till I see the guys interact w/ the others. I need to see their social skills at work. As far as the girls go I am in love with Marissa. She will hook up with some strong guy to take her through. (Why does that sound so familiar?) I also think Kelly and Natalie are super hot. I don’t know if they will win but I sure like looking at them. Jaison looks really strong.

@Cat-I thought about that too. I would feel weird saying Natalie is nice, honest and just outright beautiful so soon after Big Brother. If I posted something good about her this week somebody would paste it on the other website and I would have 93% of the people bashing me.

OK, just had to make another comment after reading their bios….The rocket scientist is out. His cocky (and i dont mean that in the good way) attitude will get him voted off quick! I like Jaison (very smart and strategic) and Betsy. Betsy is older than most of them but please dont throw the old chick to the curb this time!

Hey Leo and everyone! Glad to see so many familiar names out there for the site!

Ok so I like Russell H. because he owns an oil company and I am a consultant for an oil and natural gas company and he looks like he may be a tough competitor. For the girl, I like Ashley and not because we have the same name but because we have the same interests ie. shopping, working out, sleeping in. I loved her profile on cbs.com.

I think John the rocket scientist is cute and will be fun to watch.

I am looking forward to the start of the show!!

I’m with you Budman. I don’t want to make any assumptions on who I like based on their bios. We all know that we can write things about ourselves as we see them, when in reality another person will see us differently. We often read things that people write that can be misread and also we can misconceive what people say quite often.

I believe like you, that their interaction and social skills will be a major factor on who we quickly establish who our favs. are.

I can’t wait.

Cockiness can go out the window. Lies, I expect and personally, I think this group is going to be far more ruthless than BB, because the prize money is double and their living conditions and challenges far more brutal.

This is going to be tough and it will be interesting to see how the dynamics play out!

I have a suggestion, don’t know what it will take and how much work is involved but here goes!

At the top of the screen where you have all the photos of the Survivor cast, could you put a link on each photo that takes you directly to their bios.

I think I picked the wrong person already. I was watching tv last night, and I missed the commercial, but I think it said Russell…was he the one that said he was from New Orleans…or something like that? I might have to reconsider!

With twenty castaways, the cocky assertive ones want last long. The tribe leaders better watch their back. The best strategy is to be friendly and helpful to the tribe, and don’t make enemys.It is funny the first thing they will do is create cliques. OH NO not again!

I followed Matt’s BB site but only made a couple of comments. However Leo, I’m ready to participate in this one. I’ve been a fan since I rooted for Rudy in Survivor 1. I’m with you on leaning towards Jaison. By the way, what’s up with half of the cast coming from California and most of them from LAX? I live in CA but would rather see a better geographical cross section of players.

@Leo…It’s not easy to pick a fav from a picture and a bio that has been strategically written. If I go by pics alone…the doc’s smile has won me over, but I don’t want any reminders of what I suffered with Jeff…Having a Natalie and not one, but two Russells is enough of a deja vue. One thing I do know is that with all the self proclaimed womanizers/pleasers…There will be a repeat of a showmance, whether real or strategic, and sadly women using their “assets” to further their game. No surprises there.

Newbie here! Great looking site, Leo! Have never posted before, but have been following and enjoying everyones posts from that other reality show which, thank heavens, ends Tuesday. Survivor has been my favorite trip into reality TV and wanted to join in the fun with all of you.

Can’t say that I’ve picked a favorite yet – I’m a little slow. Give me Thursday to look them all over and I’ll let you know. (My record for picking a winner is not that stellar – I thought Coach would win last season – how do you spell s t u p i d?)

I’ll tell you the same thing that I told Matt:

If you are the same guy who created the BB11 chatroom. I hope you will be smart enough not to not let people like army,sophb,nyse,Ilmsj,kelly 48,dreamangel,BBsis,Fatz boys rule,carolina girl be administrators. They and some others who became administrators became real jerks. I saw them ban people time after time for no reason. I hope they crawl back into the hole that they came out of.

Jaison is my favorite on Foa Foa and Erik is my favorite on Galu. They both seem like there gonna be strong competitors and I expect them to go far.
