Twelve remain and the advantage goes to “new” Hunahpu for surviving two weeks of the Tribe Shuffle without losing a player while Coyopa sent its collection of Wentworths out in to the jungle’s night. Now they’ll have to decide to stick together and keep their advantage or turn on one another as this week has hyped along the way.

Tonight’s episode kicks off with Coyopa returning from Tribal Council and there’s little need for anything but relief from the remaining members. Keith is upset that no one told him about their plan to vote against him along with Dale. He says he’s done with Missy and Baylor. Meanwhile over at Hunahpu they receive word to pack their bags and follow the map to what they can only assume to be the Merge. They’re right.

Both tribes arrive for a celebration feast and everyone digs in. Looks good! They’ve got a ton of food and even some booze to pass around along with new buffs for everyone as they get ready to head back to the Hunahpu camp. The castaways grab all the leftover food and we see Julie openly pour some of the food in to her bag and tell someone which may be the issue later on.

As the newly merged tribe settles in they start to talk and plan. Jeremy is rounding up support with Jon, Missy, and Baylor to target Josh, but Josh isn’t missing a beat and is already thinking about how to handle that situation.

Josh goes to Baylor and starts to work on getting her support. We learn from Baylor that she’s obviously aligned with her mom and that’s making it tough for her because Missy has a lot of alliances that are conflicting with Josh’s plans. Baylor goes to her mom who tells her to toughen up and lie to Josh.

Sensing there’s an issue, Josh goes to Jon and Jaclyn to rally support. Jon is amazed to once again find himself in the power position as he debates with Jaclyn which side they should vote to support. This could be their “million dollar decision,” says Jon.

Here comes the scandal of the night. Trail mix. Julie poured that food in her bag which Jon discovered when they went looking. Julie thought she’d keep it to share with just the people she liked but instead they find it and now she’s in the hot seat. Oops.

Immunity Challenge:
Tribe Immunity is no more as everyone is now playing for themselves. The castaways have to balance a ball on a wooden disc by holding two ropes, one in each hand. After 25 minutes Jeff will add a second ball to the plate for a bigger challenge.

Jeremy is the first one out after a surprise drop that came out of no where. Missy is the next to drop and Julie soon follows. Everyone else survives the first round and gets to take a break before the next stage where they have to step all the way back.

Reed is the first out of the second round but Baylor, Alec, and Jaclyn are close behind him. The wind is really picking up and its causing problems. Natalie falls victim to the gusts and is out. That leaves just four guys: Jon, Keith, Wes, and Josh.

Third round starts up with those same last four players and they now have two balls balanced on their boards. Josh is the first to go with Jon not far behind. It all comes down to the father and son duo of Keith and Wes… Keith wins! He barely outlasts his son to secure the first Individual Immunity of the season.

The castaways are preparing for Tribal Council and trying to figure out what to do. Josh is working on the guys and saying that Jeremy is trying to target the couples which makes Jon and Jaclyn nervous enough to agree to work with them. Jeremy could be in trouble if this trail mix issue doesn’t change things up.

Yep, here comes Jeff to talk with Julie. Sounds like she wants to quit, but will he talk her out of it? Nope, he doesn’t even try and just lets her quit. I HATE quitters on this show. HATE it. Grrr. Jeff heads off to tell the tribe that Quitter has quit and there will be no Tribal Council this round. Weak sauce.
