Last week was Peih-Gee’s turn to fall victim to the Abi-Maria switcharoo at tribal council but would this time around find a different tribe on date night with Jeff Probst before another torch is snuffed?

We picked back up as Angkor returned to their makeshift camp after losing their first member following the tribe shuffle that gave us three tribes just three weeks in to season 31. They’ll be looking for redemption and immunity but before we get there they’ll face a reward challenge with just three players, one from each team.

Reward Challenge:
3 players, one from each of the tribes, will race out in to the water, grab sandbags, then race back and launch them in to the air to catch on the net above them. First two places win reward while last place goes home empty handed.

Jeremy, Terry, and Andrew are each playing for their respective tribes. Everyone is staying together pretty close on the first round and are already looking tired after just one trip out and back.

On the second round we’ve got Terry way out ahead but after a big miss with his launch it’s a chance for Jeremy to catch up and soon Andrew has as well. Not only does Andrew catch up but he gets the second bag up first and is in the lead.

Third round starts out with Andrew and Terry coming back in together. Terry goes first and misses but Andrew doesn’t. Angkor finally has a much needed win. Second place is still up for grabs as Jeremy returns but Terry gets it first and secures some goodies for his tribe too. Jeremy’s Bayon has nothing to take back.

Immunity Challenge:
Immunity is back up for grabs. Ta Keo and Bayon have to sit someone out to level with Angkor. Monica sits out for Bayon and Ciera is out for Ta Keo.

Callers for each tribe are Jeff, Kimmi, and Kass as they’ll be guiding blindfolded teammates trying to gather 16 puzzle pieces out on the playing field. These are huge pieces that are too heavy to handle on their own, unless you’re Joe Anglim who keeps bringing them back on his own. He must have been able to see a little too much through his buff.

Everyone stays pretty close in the competition and is back at the puzzle building phase around the same time. At this stage they can all take off their blindfolds and work together to build this huge puzzle.

Bayon is tearing it up on the assembly portion and gets it done first. That leaves Angkor and Ta Keo in danger of tribal council. It’s really bad for Angkor who is way too far behind and yep, sure enough they’ve lost yet again. So much for fueling up with that big bbq reward the day before.

Tribal Council:
Heading in to the big decision it looks like Abi-Maria Gomes could be calling the shots as Angkor decides between Woo and Jeff. Tasha points out that Woo can help them win challenges while Jeff might not be as strong, but Abi thinks it’s too risky to keep Woo if he’s been voting against her.

Jeff Probst reveals the votes: Jeff, Woo, Jeff, Jeff

Jeff Varner was voted off Survivor last night and is out of Second Chance. Did Angkor make the right choice? Should they have kept Varner over Woo?
