The new twist gives us the chance at two votes from any one castaway lucky enough to secure this special advantage at this week’s Survivor Auction event. Might be just what we need to get a crazy Tribal Council to top last week’s Fake Idol fun.

Picking up back at the Merica camp the numbers just aren’t there to see any outrage over Joe Anglim’s elimination. Instead castaways need to start planning ahead for their next move as we have to keep wondering if Rodney is ever going to take this big swing at Mike.

Survivor Auction:
We head straight in to the auction and oh snap. Will bought the first item and it was a “go back to camp” card. Ouch. Everyone starts going for food since Jeff asks who is waiting on the advantage item.

Letters from home come up and Shirin reminds everyone they can all buy it for the highest bid so Sierra goes in for $20 and rest agree to do the same so they all have $480 to fight for the advantage. Mike goes up last and then bails so he has all $500 left to win it.

After much pressuring from the rest of the tribe Mike goes in on it too. That left Carolyn, Dan, and Mike in for the advantage. Dan pulls the white rock and gets the item. Later at camp we discover this item is the new twist, a second Tribal Council vote.

Arriving back at camp, Will finds a clue and goes off to dig. He finds a stash of protein and electrolytes that can last him the rest of the season or he can share it. Will decides to share. Sheesh.

Immunity Challenge:
Players must use tongs to carry billiard balls across the field over teeter totters and stack them on the other side. First to finish wins Immunity.

Mike Holloway is playing well with a one ball lead over Tyler as he needs just one left to win Immunity… There it goes. Mike wins Immunity. Find a new plan, Rodney.

Tribal Council:
Dan sits in the swing seat as one side wants to get out Jenn and the other wants Carolyn gone, but she’s got an Idol in her back pocket.

Things get heated between Will and Shirin when we revisit his mean, personal attacks at her. Next we get Rodney shouting at Mike for calling out their very real alliance.

Jeff tallies the votes: Jenn, Shirin, Jenn, Shirin, Jenn, Carolyn, Shirin, Jenn, Jenn
