After just four weeks of Tribal Council eliminations on season 33 of Survivor we’re about to see the theme come to an end or at least for how the tribe versus tribe will be concerned. There’s still plenty of time for the internal struggles for each tribe when the old alliances face off against the new.

With the Tribe Shuffle this week there wasn’t much of a chance that CBS would let us see the competitions with a sneak peek since that’d reveal the make up of the new tribes. We’ll have to wait and see how it all turns out.

Immunity Idol:
After David used his Idol at last night’s Tribal Council the whole tribe knew another one was out in the wild so the hunt was on for Gen-X. After much searching, wouldn’t you know it, David found the replacement Idol.

Tribe Shuffle:
New tribes are about to be decided as Jeff’s tells the castaways to drop their Buffs and pick a new one.

We’ve got three tribes here tonight instead of just two. The third tribe gets one extra player to help offset the “start over” punishment of pulling a green Buff.

Vanua (orange): CeCe, Chris, David, Zeke, Michelle

Takali (purple): Ken, Jessica, Taylor, Adam, Figgy

Ikabula (green): Michaela, Jay, Hannah, Will, Sunday, Bret

No Reward Challenge this week as the tribe changes eat up a bulk of tonight’s show.

Immunity Challenge:
Immunity is back up for grabs and there are two Idols ready to be won.

Tribes must release five buoys to be used as basketballs and shot in to the hoop. If they want to take the extra step they can pull the basket float close to them with a tethered ball.

Will sits out for Ikabula to even things out.

Few disasters as the comp starts with Sunday failing to get a ball and swimming on without one. Then over on Vanua CeCe moves at the speed of dirt before David is a complete nightmare as he can’t get out of the water then loses the ball back over the float. It’s so painful.

Takali has a huge lead and Ikabula is in the running as well while Vanua looks to have nearly no chance here.

Ikabula wins Immunity first after Michaela is extremely impressive with her shooting. Ken locks it down for Takali next. That means Vanua is heading to Tribal Council and they deserve it after this flop of a challenge.

Tribal Council:
Someone is about to be voted off Survivor tonight as the losing tribe from the Immunity comp is heading to date night with Jeff Probst. That’d be Vanua this time around.

Pre-council there are talks by Chris to go after CeCe and he’s got both Millennials and David on board. Of course Michelle goes and tries to run her safety by striking up a proposal to CeCe for voting out David and word gets back. Will David use his Idol again this week? No! Not this time.

Jeff reveals the votes: Michelle, CeCe, CeCe, CeCe

They stuck to the plan and CeCe Taylor was voted off this week on Survivor.
