Ikabula was riding high with two weeks of safety and had yet to lose a member of their six-strong tribe while Vanua and Takali are each down to four after trading off weeks for date night with Jeff Probst. Was this the week for those two tribes to head back to camp without fear of losing another castaway on Survivor 2016?

Before we get to challenges we’ll need to confront the drama between Taylor and Adam over Adam’s decision to flip on his Millennials alliance and break up the showmance he saw as a threat to his game. I’m guessing Taylor won’t be too understanding on this one.

Reward Challenge:
This week’s reward comp is “Matt Finish” and takes the teams from the shore in to gather three balls to shoot through a net and then layup to rest upon a high perched rafter. Well this won’t be easy, but it does look like fun.

Winning tribe gets a lot of food & personal chef. Second place get some kabobs. Third place tribe gets a handful of sand. Bret & Sunday sit out for Ikabula with their 2-person advantage over the other tribes.

Vanua starts out very poorly with both Zeke and David struggling to get the ball bag off the spring but they make up for it quick in the next stage making it to the third stage first with a good lead and it pays off as they win the first place reward!

It’s down to Ikabula and Takali with Tak having a nice lead but it’s not enough and Michaela helps lead Ikabula back from their deficit to score the second place. A defeated Ken looks on after his ball skills couldn’t secure the reward.

Immunity Challenge:
Immunity is back up for grabs as the Survivor tribes will face to drop a basket with the weight of coconuts, cross the playing field, and finally use the oversized slingshot to take out the targets. I love the slingshot challenges!

Ikabula sits out Hannah and Will as their tribe looks to keep their winning streak alive.

Takali finishes the first round first with the weighted baskets and Adam races on to unlock chest with the combo numbers. After a few tries he gets it and moves on to the slingshot while Ikabula is just now moving on to the second stage and Michaela quickly catches them up with Takali.

Takali gets the win! Ken brings home the victory for his tribe while Vanua has caught up from a massive deficit in the game as Ikabula squandered their major lead. Vanua wins Immunity! Well there goes Ikabula’s winning streak.

Tribal Council:
Someone will be voted out tonight from the Ikabula tribe. Who do you want it to be?

Back at camp the Millennials decide to target Bret since they think he might be a cop. (He is.) They decide to split their votes in case either of the Gen-X’rs has an immunity idol. But wait, Jay has an idea to go after Michaela because she’s too smart and dangerous down the road. Uh oh!

Jeff reveals the votes: Bret, Bret, Michaela, Michaela, Michaela, Michaela.

Michaela Bradshaw has been voted off Survivor.

Next week: the Tribe Merge has arrived! Millennials has their advantage, but by one less than they could have. Oops, Jay.

What did you think of the Survivor 2016 results tonight? Any favorites so far from the two tribes? Share your thoughts below!
