Game Changers revealed who was voted off Survivor last night as the remaining castaways shuffled to new homes and Exile Island was reintroduced to the game, but in a whole new ay. Castaways soon returned to Tribal Council where another player was voted out here in the fifth week of Season 34.

We’re picking up just after JT was voted off last week in a 3-2 vote against Michaela. Kinda leaves Aubry in an awkward spot, huh? She won’t have to deal with that long as the next Tribe Shuffle has arrived. Well, unless she gets put right back with Michaela. Let’s see who goes where with the new tribes.

As for our Reward and Immunity challenges, CBS has kept those under lock and key this week to avoid revealing who ends up each of the new tribes and who gets sent to Exile Island this week. Lots of surprises coming our way on Game Changers!

Hidden Idol Immunity:

Tai is on a roll here. He found the clue to the next Idol during the last episode and here he is to collect on it. Tai wakes up and heads to the watering hole to pour water over boards to find a symbol. There’s an anchor in the wood so Tai digs there in the dark and sure enough he’s got a new Idol. Tai calls himself lucky. Yep.

New Tribe Shuffle:

Time for a third set of tribes as Jeff tells the castaways to drop their Buffs and pick a new one. Debbie’s pouch is empty so that means she’s off to Exile Island.

Debbie will sit out this next round alone and then join the tribe of whichever side loses. So the bonus is she can’t be eliminated this round, but she’ll be the latecomer when she joins her next tribe.

Mana: Troyzan, Michaela, Cirie, Aubry, Culpepper, Sierra, Hali
Nuku: Sandra, Andrea, Tai, Zeke, Ozzy, Sarah, Varner
Exile: Debbie

Hidden Idol Immunity:

Remember earlier when Tai found the watermark at the watering hole and dug up an Idol? Well guess what trick Tai pulled at his new camp? Yep. Same thing here at this camp and Tai finds his second Idol of the night. Good grief, Survivor. Change up your tricks a little bit. Lazy.

Exile Island:

Debbie arrives at her new barren camp… No, wait. It’s a boat with a life of luxury waiting for her. Seriously. She’s got food, comfort, a place to sleep. But wait, there’s more.

A boat just pulled up with… John Cochran (S23 & S28’s winner). John is there to give her any guidance or help she needs, but Debbie doesn’t feel she needs any so this is going to be tough for him.

John tells Debbie he has brought her an “Advantage Option.” It’s a little box that gives her the choose what could help her join the new tribe. She can get a “fake Idol” kit to make one, but it’s fake. She can get an extra vote power. Or she can get an advantage for her tribe in the next challenge. Given the episode title, “Vote Early, Vote Often,” there is no surprise here. Debbie picks the “extra vote” option.

Immunity Challenge:

We’ve got two tribes here and just one Immunity. Tribes must work through an obstacle course toward shore where they’ll grab huge barrel halves and hoist them up before dragging them back to the beach. There a few castaways will work to assemble the puzzle with the barrels. First to finish wins Immunity. Loser goes to Tribal and then gets stuck with Debbie.

Mana is cruising through with a nice lead but Nuku is working to close the gap. You can see the fear of Debbie in their eyes!

Mana barely reaches the top of the beach first with their puzzle pieces. They’re loading them up and working to get things together for the puzzle. Nuku isn’t far behind at this point… but it doesn’t matter. Mana makes incredibly fast work and Jeff calls it one of the fastest puzzle finishes of the series.

Mana wins Immunity!

Tribal Council:

Okay, so Nuku is trying to target Sandra but they’re telling Sandra and Varner that Tai is the target. Tai freaks out and tells Varner the target is Sandra. The rest of Nuku is upset and now Sandra is on edge. She’s ready to make sure she stays in the game.

Sandra baits Tai at Tribal Council. She gets him to give her a name of someone to target and she’ll join his vote. Tai tells her Ozzy and she announces it to the group. Nice move, Sandra. This could make Tai a hot target for the rest of the group. Yikes, Tai.

So will Tai play an Idol? Nope! Tai declines to play either of his two Immunity Idols.

Jeff reveals the vote: Tai, Tai, Sandra, Sandra, Sandra, Sandra

Sandra Diaz-Twine was voted off Survivor, the first in 90+ days of her playing the game.

Survivor Tournament: A New “Heroes Vs. Villains”
