Survivor Samoa: Episode 11 Tonight at 8/7C
“Off With Their Heads”, The castaways bid on items that include food and an immunity idol. For immunity, the players take part in an endurance challege. Also: Shambo dreams that Dave gets voted out; and Russell attempts to get Dave on his side. per tv guide.
Finally! It has been 2 weeks since we last saw Laura evicted and sent to the jury and now tonight we get to see who is next. It looks like another great episode of Survivor Samoa as we wait on the auction and immunity challenge to begin.

Excellent post as usual Ashley. Don’t know where you find the time to do all you do. How are the puppies doing? Wish that we could get to know more about the tribe. I feel that Russell is a part of the family, but I know nothing about Natalie, and some of the others.

Well Thursday is finally here and I cant wait for tonight’s episode. The past two tribal councils were amazing so it will be hard to top that unless Russell is up to his old tricks again.

Jeff 88. Yeah, I was up late, cause I have had a cold for the last couple of days, and just can’t get any sleep. Yup, Tiger’s swing may be affected. As you said before, his ball was affected in the woods. I love that comment. YOu are so clever. Blackgirl, I love conversing with you, girlfriend. Ok, Barney update – he is being is usual nosey self. Loves all of the Christmas decorations, and I have to watch him like a hawk. Am not going to put up a tree, because I know that will be a disaster. Wonder what Russhell will do tonight. He is such a little devil .
Also, I loved the comment from Jasper something or other about Tiger. He said that he and his wife introduced Elan to him, and he hopes the next time she uses a driver. How funny. I still believe that we put too many people on pedastals, and they don’t belong there. We need to be careful about who we make “role models.” What do you all thing about the Peta thing? I think it is GROSS.

One more thing, Taylor Swift has the talent of a mop. Why in the world is she rising so high, so fast, with no talent. Beyonce deserves all of the credit she is getting. She is pretty good.

In response to post #5. I suppose if you define talent as showing your boobs and shaking you butt, then yes Beyonce is FULL of talent. Taylor Swift is the real deal. She actually writes all her own songs. She doesn’t pay someone else to write them. That’s REAL talent.

Summer.. I will have to disagree about Taylor — she is not the best singer in the world, however her writing and musicianship and performances are awesome.. I’m trying not to sound like a creepy guy here, however she is what America needs with all the kids starting so young these days!
My wife keeps jokeing that she is waiting for some deep dark secret to come out of Taylor’s closet, however she seems pure as new snow!

I agree with Russellisking.. Beyonce can sing and dance, however doesn’t write anything and relies on shaking her money-maker.
Taylor is an amazing writer, just like Avril Levigne is… only difference is, Avril is an @$$ and obnoxious punk, and Taylor is sweet and the real deal — nothing phoney there!

I can’t wait for tonight! It will be me, Britt and a huge cat named Thor cuddling up to watch the brilliant evil doer, the mullett, joyless Jaison, beautiful Natalie, clueless Dave and the chipmunks (Monica and Brett), and the rocketman. I hope it’s true that Jaison wins a challenge. It’s been a long time coming!
Very, very few people deserve to be put on a pedestal. I think we have to remember that celebrities are only human. Even though we may think we “know them”, we will never know the full person via the medium of publicity.
Thanks for another cool post, Ashley. I hope your Dad is continuing to get better.

Anyone love the hot, talented Duffy as much as I do? I admit sometimes when I’m alone, I crank this song up (Mercy) and dance like a fool! I’ve tried to embed it in my name, but I’m not sure if it worked.

Cooper- I love Duffy. I saw an interview with her and she was so down to earth and cool. I loved her British accent. Then when she sings she has that sultry dirty type voice and it doesn’t seem like it could come from from the same sweet girl in the interview.
Summer#5- Are you really Kanye? I agree that her singing voice is weak and kind of mousey (if that is a word) but I do like her song writing skills. She is so young that she has lots of time to improve. She is a really energetic and driven person to achieve what she has achieved so far and I think she will be a force in the music industry for years to come. Her boyfriends don’t dare cross her or they will be the subject of her next hit. Kind of like lyrical superglue.

Glee was so good last night. That show has more twists than Snoop Dog’s corn-rows as well as the best music of our time. That is the one show that I will really miss when the season ends.

Jeff, I have Glee’s version of It’s My Life/Confessions blasting right now! I think Glee is by far the best new show of the season. My girlfriend and I both LOVE it!

I’ve never watched Glee — the performances look good, and the girls on there are hot — however the whole high school loser thing is where you lose me.. i’ve had enough of it in my life and won’t want to deal with the gym teacher chick constantly putting them down, etc. etc…

Scotty, click on my name and you can see Duffy performing Mercy. Glee is so much more complex than the usual high school clique scenario. As a highschool teacher myself, I was skeptical about its premise, but I have become a huge fan. It’s funny, sweet, sexy, intricate, quirky and very, very human. It thinks outside the box. It’s about all of us.

the human brain works on ADRENALIN, the NASTY stuff in life IS BURNED INTO the brain by adrenalin for reasons of SURVIVAL, the burnt hand fears the fire, IMHO the best analogy of how to manage your brain is to think of your brain as a beloved dog, a faithful companion, BUT put a muzzle on it if it gets too abused and damaged, and cannot control its behavior, bites the hand that feeds, or just gets too old for its own well being…muzzling my brain just now
i said all this to say RussHell was posted as a convicted felon after his first criminal act on camera, many people claimed he was a convicted drug dealer, while i detest drug abuse, i have known and loved too many addicts to hate them unconditionally, but i would never trust them to be anything but recovering addicts, and somewhat brain damaged to begin with, seriously i mean damage to the normal brain endorphin response, they simply cannot enjoy life as an ordinary law abiding person can, they NEED to abuse and neglect others, if a Foa Foa member had died of dehydration, would RussHell have been charged with a criminal act ??

Anthony, you obviously don’t know any true addicts. After volunteering at a drug rehab for women I can tell you that I have seen addicts return to normal lives without any chemical dependancy and lead productive “normal” lives and you would never guess them to ever be a recovering addict because they are happy well adjusted people.

yes Ashley i know MANY RECOVERED addicts, that WAS NOT EVEN MY POINT, sorry to have misled you, my point is the brain has permanent problems JUST FROM ORDINARY LIFE events which PUSH the adrenalin response into survival mode, for whatever it is worth i was trained AS A RESEARCH INTERVIEWER, NOT A counsellor, and worked for a year in the DRUG ABUSE TREATMENT OUTCOME STUDY, which is a white paper for the POTUS, and i would have been convicted of a felony if i used any of their responses to get them arrested or charged with any act as long as no ones life was in danger, then i was of course required to testify or report any life threatening incident, this was 1994, so yes i am WAY behind the hopefully modern techniques to help break negative addictions, at the time about 3 percent of prior addicts, meaning ten years or MORE in addiction, broke free on their own, mainly by BREAKING ALL BONDS with enablers or enabling situations, THERE WAS NO EFFECTIVE TREATMENT and many of my respondents, a total of 50 people and their homeys in that year were interviewed by me ALONE, about 10,000 nationwide, MANY said that methadone, the treatment of choice by the status quo was WORSE than their street drug of choice…

the idea of an impaired endorphin response, meaning inability to enjoy normal stuff like KNITTING
is just MY stupid idea, i meant that the people who DO NOT recover, seem hell bent on destroying themselves mainly, and any other person who gets sucked in to the ADDICTS tornado, not the recovered persons peace 
just an example would be the worst of Dr Drews Celeb Rehab disasters, those are the goners

Anthony.. he only talks that way to the cameras — not really to their faces.. we’re also not seeing what goes on for 71 of the 72 hours between TC’s..
If he did anything illegal or would make something seem unfair, the producers would have stepped in. I think burning Jaison’s socks is waaaay worse than spilling out some water…
Plus we all KNOW at the finale, he will have a fresh pair of socks to present infront of the live audience

Hey peeps. Ac i work for a man whos bro has been in rehab 52 times in 24 Yrs. He has stolen so much from the co. he’ll never be able to repay his debt.no matter how many 30 Day programs he goes to hes back on the crack, pills, and booze within days. His enablers are as much a root to the problem as the drugs are.i told my boss when do u decide youre done and wont enable him again?hes 50 most people are thinking of retiring soon, he will never be anything but an addict! His family bails him out of jail and trouble every time. When does he have to be accountable for his actions, get a real job, and pay bills like the rest of society? Stand up and accept actions for his actions. He lies and says hes clean and sober yet he foams at the mouth, cant complete an intelligent sentence, and is clearly stoned out of his gord on a daily basis. I say enough is enough if you have crack money then you have money to pay ya house pmt. Hes a lost cause

try looking at Shay Sorrells on The Biggest Loser this season, her life as a homeless child of a heroin addicted mom, its just too painful to even think about, and her mom was really a beautiful person, just lost in space, Shay and Daniel Wright were partners for most of this season, Daniel is a great contestant and the first ever to return for a second year, he and the other people have helped Shay lose her addiction to food…

Ashley i am sure you understand the pain of loved ones watching when theres no recovery, and what a blessing it is when there is one, and believe me i am happy to have my sister, my only sibling, recovered from her addiction to street drugs, she and i have had many years to make up for lost time, too many addicts and their loved ones never get the chance..

Shambo let down all of her tie dyed shirt wearing fans. Oh that’s right there isn’t anyone who wears tie dyed shirts any more. Dave was right about boiling the chicken. She boiled a lot of the nutrients out of the chicken. I loved how when they were showing her asleep they kept having the frames of crabs mixed in as a subliminal message. My favorite moment was Shambo explaining how she controlled the vote. She was a former Marine but was the first one to let go of the rope?
I would want them to vote her off but she is too much fun to watch. Shambo=Gilligan

Hey to all!! Got back today and wish I hadn’t. Someone [2] got in my house. I lock my bedroom door[skeleton key] but they broke the wood. Opened the door and they had pried my Gun Safe open. I thought I had 2 doors for prevent this. They got a ‘nice’ haul. 100 Vics, 60 xanax, 40 Ambien, $200.00 in quaters and the worse was my boyfriends ‘limited’ 357 Mag Revolver. The cop was even ‘WOW’. I had it cause here there is some trouble. Kids getting shot and drive bys. The cop kept saying ‘things’ can be replaced. That WASN”T why I was hysterical..[I was].. That gun is out there and it is loaded[8 hollow points] and if someone gets hurt or killed that’s on me.I wanted to see my boyfriend on Thanksgiving and took dog too. NO ONE would have dared to come in the house if she had been here.They dusted for prints but something about them being 3-4 days old and couldn’t lift any..So much for CSI..I never got broke into before[don't know how they got in] but I feel dirty and ecky. Sorry for the rant..

Scotty 25, thanks for the hopeful expectation of RussHells conversion to humane compassion, seriously i believe some of RussHells real life has compassion and cohesion, his family ties etc, i believe RussHell is just a fierce competitor, i hope the critical posts about him are wrong, either way he does seem quite sober, so i would doubt the critics who said he has a criminal record, Survivor probably would have known if that were true, he just seemed too aggressive with Betsy, Liz etc etc
