In never before seen footage, one castaway reveals a guarded secret and the whole tribe suffers at the hands of Russell in the aftermath of the merge.
Generally I don’t like the recap episode but sometimes it can be entertaining. Hopefully, this is one of those times. Instead of making it the Russell show, maybe we can get a look at some of the contestants we know very little about. Brett has made it pretty far and yet played an insignificant role. With the exception of the leaked information about being acquainted with Laura, I know nothing about this fellow. He seems like a nice guy but who knows with the way all the editing has favored Russ.
Who do yall think discloses a guarded secret? Is it from the promo when Russ tells Mick he owns an oil company? And what shenaningans did he come up with after the merge?

Hey guys, top of the morning!! I guess the reason that they are having a recap on Thursday is because of the Holiday and people being with their families. But–sometimes these recap shows are quite good. Lots of flack about the WEIRDO on the news and his performance on AMA. Guess that is what he wanted with his album coming out. He is claiming discrimination? Bet he sees a lot of it in the future with that disgusting performance. I am old fashioned, and think that you should keep your sex life in your own home, not on national tv. Guess who won’t be buying any of his music, EVER? Hey Blackgirl, hope that you got your coffee this a.m. I am not a coffee drinker, but I do love the smell of it. I am more of an O.J. person, and can’t make it through the day with a tall glass in the morning. In the AOL recaps this A.M. it said that Mya wasn’t too last night, and that Donny stole the show with perfect 10s. Who knew? Got to get to work, so talk with you guys later.

I’m sure the secrets revealed is when Russell told the guy he is sitting next to in the picture about his real career and that he isn’t what he said he was, etc… They’ve sort of moved away from the whole Foa Foa thing since moving in with Galu and dealing with picking them apart!
Did you all see DWTS last night!!!! OMG!! I can’t believe they gave Donnie 10’s for that freestyle! I totally believe Mya deserved what she got as did Kelley — Mya will of course through her partner under the bus again as she started to in the package last night saying she wanted something different and went (settled) with his routine — which of course showed them nothing!
I totally believe this will come down to popularity/religion and Donnie will take it as the Mormons stick together — plus his family alone can swing a vote (like 60 – 80 people between siblings, neices, nephews, kids, etc).. Also, Ozzy didn’t cry last night, however Kelley has become so likable that she will easily get more votes than that has-been Mya!
PS: Did any of you catch that family reunion show last night after DWTS?? OMG!!! We were in tears!!

I respect other people’s opinions, and I know this may be contraversial, but Madonna and others (hello Shakira, Fergie, Britney, hristina) have been grabbing crotches, kissing face, and simulating sex onstage during rock performances for years. This kind of stuff never hurt Madonna’s career … kissing Britney on stage, feigned lesbian sex etc. Some may feel it is inappropriate while others may call it creative genius. Would anyone care as much if Adam wasn’t gay and the object of his act another man? I’ve now seen the footage and I think the real crime is the awful song and terrible choreography.

@ #8 Cooper… I think the issue is people’s distain for male homosexuality. I find it pretty disgusting myself — just saying..
As far as female homosexuality — it is still beautiful as women are beautiful and men are pretty much gross.
Just like that Seinfeld episode with that girlfriend who walked around naked the whole time and he found it weird… but when he was naked, it was gross and she said it!!

Cooper – I am not picking on Adam because he is gay, and I don’t buy any CDs from any of the people you have mentioned, because I don’t like the sex stuff on the screen. Of all of the people you have mentioned, I believe that Madonna is the only one with even a little talent, and I used to enjoy her music until I saw a special where she simulated M–t–b–t–n on a bed, with a huge cross around her neck. That ended her for me, and I never bought another CD of hers. Brittney has no talent as far as I am concerned, she just had a lot of backing from Disney, and she can kiss all of the women she wants, I just don’t have to watch it. As I have stated before, I can’t sing worth a dang, but with the right backing, anyone could be a STAR. AC – don’t disagree with your comment, cause I have heard that also. Cooper, that kind of crap which Adam pulled on the stage last night was DISGUSTING and does not belong on TV where young kids can see it. AND, all of the other stars which do that type of thing need to concentrate on their singing and skip the “shock” stuff. MJ used to grab his crotch all the time, and I didn’t like it, but I bought his music because he was talented. I just didn’t watch any of his specials any longer.

I went to youtube and watched Lambert at the ama’s. I’m not going to comment on the performance but on the singing. It was terrible and the song sucks and I think Adam is very talented with a good voice. When he was on AI, he brought something new with his theatrical background and his voice reminded me of Steven Tyler. However, “For your Entertainment” is not a good song and did not show his capabilities as an artist.

Summer.. Mya blew it big time — and of course she is immediatly blaming her professional partner for taking the easy way with a “Hairspray” theme… They trashed her big time for not taking it to the next level and gave her freestyle 9’s.. meanwhile she got all 10’s for a paso she did earlier in the evening..
She will mainly lose on votes as kelley is more likeable and Donnie is Mormon and a showman

As for the recap show, it may be entertaining this time around. My only hope is that it does not become the RussHell Show. Let’s see some other folks!

I dont think that Mya blew it, her dance was not great but it was no bad. She got 9s. The judges expectation of her is much higher than the other two because she is waaay better. As for Donnie, I didnt get why he got 10s…it was boring and a bit awkward..Im just saying maybe i am a bias when it comes to my Dmitry. I soo wanna Samba with Dmitry.LOL

Love Adam Lambert and I do think its strange how it fine for Women to do it but not men. It was pretty shocking but that what everyone said when Rosanne kissed someone on her sitcom. Now its the norm.
I just wonder if this will backfire. Usually any publicity is good publicity but he is coming from American Idol. Many older folks like my mom LOVED him. She love doughty too and bought his album even though its not her type of music. I’m ure she would have bought Adam album as well but I can guarantee she won’t after seeing that footage. I’m sure there are many more who love him on idol but will not now. However, he may now get sales from non-idol fan (who think idol is to trendy). Like rob Zombie type fan.
Who knows how it will play out.
As for him kissing a guy on stage. Who cares. He didn’t kill or hurt anybody. He kissed a guy! Anyone ever see Deathtrap (1982), where Christopher Reeve and Michael Caine made out. They do it in movies all the time. If T.V had got to the point where women can kiss then why not men? Yes it was shocking and I can understand why people are upset but does it really effect any of us. It not going to turn my kids gay or anything like that.

I watched DWTS last night since I was at my sisters and had to watch what they were watching. Kelly’s freestyle was good except for the one small slip. All 8’s… that was fair enough. Mya’s freestyle was really boring unlike her past performances (she IS the best dancer on the show) all 9’s was a little too generous. She wasn’t better than Kelly but I can live with it. Donnie’s dance was so cheesy and sugar coated (gag) I had to leave the room halfway through. I didn’t have to see the scores to know he would get all 10’s. I guess he sealed his success with kissing Bruno earlier in the season. Bruno even helped him with the dance during training. It really didn’t matter that Mya’s dance wasn’t too great. No matter how good her dance was she can not win. The show is based entirely on popularity and the dancing is just a time filler. I agree with Scotty K that Donnie will win on the votes. 15 Scottie K. Yup, Mya is a crybaby and spoiled , but she is a good dancer. I don’t like spoiled brats, and that’s why I couldn’t really back Aaron 100%; Skotie 68. The only thing I am going to say about Mr. Fruitcake is -Shame on him for doing it, and Shame on ABC for putting it on the air. Would you let your kids watch that trash? Jeff, you are so funny. Love your definition of DWTS, but also liked Done With This S–T. You are probably right – Bruno and Donny kissing will probably seal the deal. Who knows, who cares? I would love Dmitrie to win cause he is a good dancer, but I am beginning to dislike Mya tremendously cause she always puts her partner down , so since I don’t care for Donny, and Cowgirl is cute, but awkward, I think that I will root for the guy who does the lighting.

#10 Scotty, sexual preference isn’t a choice. It’s how we’re wired one way or another, so there’s nothing disgusting about it. My best friend since age 8 is gay … a smart, kind, funny, wonderful guy who I love very much. One of the hardest things he’s ever had to do is come out to his family and friends, although most of us had an idea already. When I get married, he’ll be my best man at the wedding …hopefully next year as I’m planning on proposing to my girlfriend on New Year’s Eve.

Coop my man! Hello sweetie! Im coming to stay with u over the winter to see if there really is such a thing as too much snow. For me i doubt it haha yrs ago way before you were born i asked my friend when he knew he was gay. He said im not my reply was yea you are but u just dont know it yet. The frivilous things I am thankful for: the smell of rain in the spring (to wash away the pollen), a good cup of coffee in the am, a nice glass wine to relax my mind after a long day, the laughter of my children, a hot shower, sweat pants, and a good book. Most of all, I am thankful for the health of my family and my hard working husband who is pulling all the weight since I got laid off over the summer and so thankful for all you guys and Matt for providing this website for us to enjoy. None of you will ever know what it means to read all your comments everyday and to write the blogs for you because it can get depressing when you are out of work.

Ashley, welcome! Your list of things is wonderful! It’s not really frivilous … after all, it’s the small moments that make up life day after day that give us the most happiness, I think. Some of my things: watching silently falling snow, hot chocolate with marshmallows, cold beer, reading in bed with my cat laying across my legs, laughing with my friends until my chest aches, seeing the “aha” moment of realisation when something I’m teaching hits home to the kids in my class, wearing my favourite hockey jersey, the way my girlfriend looks at me sometimes, the way her hair swings when she walks.

my parents got married, my dad had 3 brothers and 4 sisters, my mom had two sisters and a youngest brother, i do NOT EVEN KNOW all of my cousins and grand cousins, they number in the hundreds, all over the US, i do know that we have ALL the anomalies, genetic or gender or whatever, in our blood kin 
my two closest male cousins, brothers close in age, grew up as the only siblings in their family, and consider themselves gay, but the older one married an amazing lady, an RN with MS, and the younger dates both genders, they are RICH in every way, would NEVER do any act to embarrass or harass anyone, celebrity does inasne things to people, the loss of privacy makes people insane, i was in 7 hollywood films with Jon Claude van Damme, Nick Nolte, Susan and Tim Robbins, Walter Matteau, and a bunch of others, the problem is that ANY act that gets plastered all over the media is just free publicity, and gets an audience, no matter what the act is…

Hey guys – YOu will be really surprised by what I am going to say. Regardless of who wins DWTS tonight, the dancer I enjoyed the most tonight was — drum roll, please— Kelly. I couldn’t believe my eyes. No awkwardness, nothing clumsy, just smooth, elegant and very nice to watch. Donny was too fakie, and Mya and Dmitri were ok. And, I loved Whitney – that is what true talent is, and the thing between Michael Irvine and Jerry Rice was priceless. Ok, let me get back to watching the finals which is really being dragged out WAY TOO LONG!! :blush:

Ashley – What happened is that Donny, the showman, the washed up 51 year old singer beat the best dancer of the season. I was rooting for the electrican who does the lights, but once again, I was wrong.

@ #43 Cooper… Sorry if i offended you — I also have gay friends in my life — many of the gay women I know are that way because of abuse from men and feeling closer to women!
The men I’m not sure about, never understood that one, and I certainly don’t discount their friendship just because of their sexual preference…
Women with women have always been a more accepted as women are beautiful — men are just gross!!
Sometimes I’m embarrassed to be a man with everything many of my fellow men do to women!

I currently live in Las Vegas and believe it or not, this is Mormon-ville! we’re right next to Utah (ground-zero for the LDS church) and Idaho.. the Mormons technically founded Nevada.
Many of them go on missions and learn a lot at a young age, making them amazing work candidates — the owner of the company I sell for LOVES hiring LDS folks as they are incredibly hard workers and have GREAT personalities!! Some of my closest co-workers are practicing Mormons — and they all talked about Donnie representing them LOL

Yuppers.. It’s all about the missions they do as young as teenagers that prep them for this sometimes cruel world…
Vegas has lots of Mormons running around.. These days Vegas is a LOT more than the strip and casinos… It’s HUGE with many communities — more than just gambling, although that’s how the state makes it money.

yeah Scotty, i looked at moving to LV a couple of months ago, the apartments really close to the strip were very reasonable and clean, the neighborhoods were getting better, and the family oriented tourist trade seems to be increasing, many of my friends here have famoly there, working in nursing homes etc

Hey AC. 7 movies? Cool. NOw I know two celebrities by association – you and Michael Jackson. First, I have never met Michael Jackson, but I work for a guy, David V who works with Teddy Riley who worked a lot with MJ, especially on the Dangerous CD. (He wrote a lot of the songs.) Michael, David and Teddy were kinda working on a project at the time of his death, and I don’t know if Teddy and David will finish it or not. MJ came to Virginia Beach often to record and practice with David and Teddy. (before I came to work for them, unfortunately) Any who – I did ask my boss what Michael was like, and he said “He was one of the nicest, sweetest men I have ever known or worked with. Always concerned about perfection, and most of all about the feelings of other people.” Just thought I would pass that on, cause you guys know how I feel about MJ and his genius. Heard that Lady GAG, GAG was on Jay Leno, and that her performance was just as bad as Adam’s. Glad that I didn’t see it, but they did show clips – disgusting. Wish that people would concentrate on entertaining us instead of disgusting us. Barney will have a great day tomorrow cause he loves turkey. Come to think of it, he loves everything, even split pea soup. Anyway, Gobble, Gobble everybody.

AC.. there’s plenty of nursing homes here to work in — wit hthe climate, there’s lots of mid-westerners retiring here…
I would look at buying a forclosed house rather than renting an apt — we are so far underwater as far as home values and poor people needing to give up their homes, they are ripe for the picking with many of them in amazing shape for good deals!!!

Hey Summer, yeah some of the celebs really know how to party with normal people, Sinbad was famous for taking the extras to Mickey Ds, and Jon Claude vD, was chatting with everyone when the filming paused, Nick Nolte and Susan Sarandon in Lorenzos Oil were really freaked by the huge number of extras, about 500, in Heinz Chapel at Univ of Pittsburgh, it turned out Susan was pregnant at the time and did not know it yet, so she might have been reclusive because she was carrying an unknown embryo

wow thanks June, i can use all the prayers i can get in my old age
since i have donated my whole body to science, it will not cost any money to bury me 
and there cannot be any funeral, because my body goes straight to medical school or a research facility as a cadaver 
even the trip to transfer my dead body is paid for, just call a tool free number and they come and get me 
my partner in the script is a young actor whom i never actually met, but we were in Sudden Death together, ironic isnt it 
maybe i will live long enough to see the script filmed

thanks June, i am at my nephews home for TG and just finished turkey and all the trimmings, so delicious, i probably will not be famous myself but my story might be made by my partner who has already made one film, and is young enough to act in action roles…we have a grandnephew 10, and grand niece, 5, who are very talented so we get entertained
