Survivor is back on CBS with the season premiere of Survivor Kaoh Rong this week at the start of its three month run before a season finale in May 2016.
The Survivor schedule has new episodes of Survivor 2016 airing on CBS each Wednesday at 8/7c along with live stream broadcasts on CBS’s All Access in most markets. We’re expecting a run of about 12 weeks with new shows before crowning a winning in mid-May.
The first episode of Survivor Kaoh Rong aired on February 17, 2016 and featured 18 new castaways. Not all of them will make it out of the game in the traditional Tribal Council vote-off though. Medevacs await at least three of the players which could present an interesting challenge to the Survivor schedule.
With castaways eliminated through medical emergencies the week’s losing tribe at the Immunity Challenge may get to skip their date night with Jeff Probst before a warm fire. It’s unlikely we’ll lose several weeks if production decides to double up on vote-offs and medevacs, but we’ll have to wait and see how that’s handled.
