Last week we witnessed Cochran abandon his former tribe, Savaii, and align forces with Upolu. Many fans were scratching their heads asking, “why?” A newly released deleted scene from Survivor South Pacific episode 8 helps clear that up.
Coach was hard at work on Cochran with the mindgames and influenced Albert to convince him that he’d be joining their side and become a respected member of their team. Albert does an excellent job at this and Cochran walks away thinking there’s an opportunity for him to be a final-four player with Coach, Albert, and Sophie. Poor Cochran. This guy just can’t catch a break.
