A familiar challenge awaits the castaways this week on Survivor 2016 with “Push Me, Pull You.” It’s another stand-still-and-focus competition as the players will test their ability to, well, stand still and focus.
Survivor producer John Kirhoffer walks us through the behind the scenes video again this week as the Survivor Dream Team tests out this returning competition that’s going to leave some of the castaways with strained arms and broken tiles.
Just as John says, simple in concept but difficult in execution. Each castaway will hold a pair of handles pulling in opposite directions to keep a heavy bar pinned between them. As their arms get tired their grip will loosen and down comes the bar to break the tile below.
Now so far we don’t know if this will be the Immunity or Reward challenge but we do know the family and loved ones are arriving this week. The chance to spend time with them will be the reward so both competitions will be individual performances this week. That makes it tough to know for sure here. As for a little bonus drama, it looks like Adam might end up using his advantage or at least discusses it then maybe wins the chance on his own.
Watch the Dream Team in action in the video below then get ready for Survivor on Wednesday night.
