Survivor Redemption Island Why Is Phillip Still There??

I thought for sure after Phillip lost the challenge for them on episode 2 of Survivor Redemption Island he was a goner but no, they went for the guy who tried to show a little showmanship to the other team. I get that this is a survivor and that type behavior is not welcome but talk to him about it and give him another chance! Get rid of the special agent, dirty pink underwear wearing turncoat who has already proven his disloyalty. I can’t say enough about how much I dislike this guy! He is awful! The editing of his patriotism was pretty funny and Rob’s line about government jobs being stressful was priceless.

Russell Hantz is the same as ever. He believes his two girl alliance team is all for him but if I was there I’d act the same way those girls did and let Russ think he had me on his side. You never want anyone against you in this game. I’m hoping the girls are just playing him but we haven’t seen that yet. And what about Ralph? I mean this dude is crazy and I like him! It takes some guts to get in Russ’s face but since he has the hidden immunity idol he has nothing to lose. Russ was caught telling a lie and now he’ll go after Ralph hard.

If they lose the next challenge it should be an interesting tribal council to say the least. Russ will be blindsided with Ralph having the idol and the two enemies will fight it out. Can’t wait to see who comes out on top!

Survivor 2010: Sandra Diaz-Twine Wins Again

Sandra Diaz-Twine is the only two time winner of Survivor. Her philosophy of “as long as it’s not me” brought her all the way to the final tribal council where she had the chance to plead her case to the jury. In a 6-3 vote the jury members awarded Sandra the title of Sole Survivor and the prize money of a million dollars for the second time.

At the final tribal council the jury members questioned all three finalists and it was pretty obvious that no one liked Russell and no one respects his game. Colby tells him that he is delusional if he thinks he made it to the end without luck. Coach tells Russ he can be a very little man in stature and word while praising Parvati as a warrior. But, Danielle put the nail in the coffin when she asked if he would do anything differently and when he says no and sticks by all his moves, she tells him he has a lack of skill with the jury and won’t receive any votes. It turns out she was correct. What do you think? Did we have two bitter juries or is there a lot we don’t see of Russ and his evil ways that are lost in the editing room?

JT wins the trophy for the dumbest move ever by a castaway which I personally don’t agree with. Tyson and Erik’s moves were by far worse than that. The general concensus on here was that Erik had the stupidest move while I thought the award should go to Tyson.

America has voted and in another contest of good vs. evil the vote came down to Rupert and Russell with Russell once again winning America’s vote. Not a real shock as most of us like to watch tv to be entertained and that is what Russell brings to the table, entertainment.

To all you wonderful fandom regulars, I have thoroughly enjoyed hanging with you all and discussing this game. We have had some really good moments on this site and I hope you will all join me and Killer K on realityrewind.com as we take on the reality tv world. Next season we have some exciting news that Fandom is being considered to do exit interviews. We have talked to the publicist for both CBS and Survivor and are pleased to have the opportunity to add this to our site for your enjoyment.

Survivor 2010: It’s Finale Day! Spoiler Alert!

It’s all come down to this. In just a few hours we will watch the three hour Survivor 2010: Heroes vs. Villains two hour finale and one hour reunion show. What a long journey we have been through watching these 20 all stars tear up the game as Russell and Parvati fought for control.

It all ends tonight and the 28 show reign of Russell Hantz will come to an end. I wouldn’t expect to see him back for either season of Nicaragua but this is Survivor where anything can happen lol. I think we all need a break for his evil antics to let someone have their shot at the million dollar prize.

The spoilers were in place back in October and the boot list has been 100% accurate so unless a miracle occurs, we will watch Sandra Diaz-Twine take her home second million and be the only two time winner of the game. A bittersweet ending for most of us but I’m reserving judgment until after I see the episodes tonight.

It should be one awesome final tribal council as the jury members question the three finalists and to see if Russell gets the shaft from the players. Catch it all tonight starting at 7C/8E on CBS!

Get ready for 3 hours of Survivor 2010: Heroes vs. Villains Sunday night as we face 3 Tribal Councils and 2 eliminations. Our next and last fallen heroe is Colby Donaldson who barely showed up this season to compete and strategize. What a disappointment it was to see him not really care about his game at all. Parvati will supposedly win the plate stacking challenge before he gets the boot.

Blackwhale claims that Sandra puts the bug in Russell’s ear to get Jerri out because she and Parvati don’t want to go to the final TC with someone who hasn’t won and they feel like Russ is not a threat. Blackwhale also claimed that the final immunity challenge was the same one they did in Samoa that Russ won. However, I read an article at sucks that said the final IC would have the final 4 blindfolded so now I’m wondering what the challenge actually is and if Russell really wins.

Someone asked blackwhale what Russ’s final TC was like and here is the response:

“The jury pays him no serious consideration, they treat him poorly on the whole, do not take him seriously, and do not respect his game. He approaches things terribly all along, from telling Jerri she owes him her vote, to telling someone like Coach that “it’s just a game” over the necklace incident, when any fool could realize that it’s more than just a game to Coach. In many instances, he doesn’t really get the chance to speak, the jury rakes him over the coals and knows going in that it is strictly a choice between Parvati and Sandra. So it definitely hurt his ego that nobody was marveling over his game. Candice made some sort of comment that he is like an abusive husband and Parvati an abused wife, he took it as a compliment and said thank you, so that elicited some laughter from everyone.”

Sounds like no one is even considering giving Russ the million so with that being said, I really hope the count is wrong and Parvati wins. Here is a quote from Jeff Probst,”I think Parvati is the best overall player, regardless of whether she wins or loses, to ever play the game of ‘Survivor,’” said Probst. “She came in with a gigantic target on her back, and she managed to not only last in the game but control the game. I think she and Russell will both argue that they’re the ones in control, and both are probably right.”

Also, Sunday marks the 28th episode in a row that we have watched Russell Hantz play Survivor.

Survivor 2010: Episode 13 Just kind of blah

I really had my expectations up for this Survivor 2010 episode but it never reached that climax I kept waiting for. So now I’m left disappointed and just kind of blahhhh. You ladies know what I’m talking about lol jk.

There’s really not much to talk about because it was pretty much how we expected. Rupert was ecstatic to still be in the game and put too much trust in his final 3 deal with Russell. However Sandra did pull the idol so even if Russell had voted with Rupert to get her out he still would have gone to the ponderosa. They couldn’t vote out Parvati like they had planned because she won immunity and Russ wouldn’t get rid of Jerri because he thinks for some reason that he has control of her and her vote but after what happened at the reward challenge, I think Jerri is feeding Russ what he wants to hear and staying true to her alliance with the girls.

The family visits were cool and it was nice to see everyone have a moment with their loved ones. I felt bad for Russ, Rupert and Colby who didn’t get to share in the reward or have additional time to spend with their significant others but it was cool for the girls to get some alone time together to strategize and ensure their safety with each other.

Russell didn’t know what he was getting into with Parvati. I guess he thought all women were suppose to be like Natalie and just follow his lead but these women have played this game and neither Parvati nor Sandra are going to back down from getting what they want. Basically Russ threw Parvati at Sandra when he had Danielle voted out so I’m not sure what he thought would happen. Of course the two are going to team up against him because they see him as a threat. They need him to get out Rupert and Colby and after that all bets are off.

I’m hope the finale can live up to the hype and maybe we will see some great game play on Sunday.

Survivor 2010: Episode 12 Recap

We had so much to cover in the hour long show but they manage to get it all in for Survivor 2010. It starts with Russell and Rupert going at it. Rupert wants to show the other Villains just how awful of a person Russ is and tells them he is disgusting for swearing on his kids life. Russ tells Rupert he doesn’t give a f about him and that he’s a dumbass. He wants Rupert to pack his bags.

Immunity Challenge #1: Stand on perch while your arm is in the air and tethered to a bucket of colored water. If you lower your arm, the bucket pours down on you and you are out of the game. Jeff will tempt them with food items throughout the game. Parvati won this challenge in favs v. favs lasting 6 hours.

Jeff offers the first food item within a minute of the game and before he can lift the cover, Sandra and Russell both say they want it. They get a plate full of cookies and milk. After about ten minutes he offers four donuts and a cup of iced coffee which Colby gladly accepts. When the next item comes up, it is a plate full of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, two glasses of milk and a bowl of candy. Jerri, Danielle and Candice all get down to eat this food which leaves Rupert to battle it out with Parvati. Rupert slips and Parvati wins immunity. Jeff then reads aloud a clue to the next HII and back at camp everyone is scrambling.

Everyone wants the idol especially Rupert who knows his time is coming but Sandra finds it and does the right thing and tells no one. Way to keep your mouth shut. Russ needs to take a few lessons on how to do that. Rupert comes up with a plan to make the others THINK he had the idol by putting a large rock in his pocket and it works great. He totally had Russell thinking he had it so Russ comes up with a plan to split the votes and make Rupert play it. He wants to split them 3 for Rupert and 3 for Colby but the ladies want Candice gone and Rupert and Colby had already decided to vote for Candice so it goes down in there favor at Tribal and Candice is sent to the Ponderosa.

When they return to camp Russ is pissed and the girls try to reason with him but Russ knows he and Parv are equally in control so he has to do something about that.

Immunity Challenge 2: All players race to dig up a peg that they will manouver through a maze, the first five move on to the next round. Rupert finishes first followed by Sandra who is shocked as are we, then Russ, Parvati and Danielle. The next leg starts and the five race to grab 4 pegs that they will use to get up a climbing wall. Russ gets halfway up the wall without a peg and finishes first followed by Rupert and Parvati. The three of them compete in the last leg which is solving a puzzle. Russell wins individual immunity!

Back at camp, Russ tells Danielle that it is time to get Parv out and then tells Parv that Danielle wants her gone. He was thinking Parv would trust him and keep her mouth shut but Parv isn’t like the players on Samoa so of course she confronts Danielle. The scramble is on from this point on for Russ to get the votes to send Danielle packing and Parv trying to save her.

At tribal council Jeff asks Rupert who is running the show and he says both Russ and Parv which I’m sure Russ doesn’t like. Parv tells Jeff what went on at camp and good Lord, Danielle starts crying. Come on chica you are a villain for crying out loud. Dry up those tears. She is sent to the Ponderosa and Parvati is pissed.

It looks like next week Parvati and Sandra are going to get close and form their own alliance while Russ hooks up with Rupert and Colby. Who is now in control? Russ or Parvati?

Sensing that he is in danger, a hero makes a bold move to save himself by fooling the entire tribe.

Meanwhile, a vicious power struggle emerges in one alliance and two of the strongest villains find themselves pitted against one another

The hunt is back on for another idol and we will find out if the king of idols will find it yet again. Surely his luck is about to run out in that regard but this is Russell so you can’t ever tell. Blackwhale said Russ plays an idol at Candice’s boot so if this is correct, he has to find it during this episode.

We have two immunity challenges and two eliminations this week so a lot to get to in only an hour. Our first challenge is When It Rains, It Pours. Survivors are chained with their arms up in the air to a water bucket; if they lower their arms the bucket tilts and pours down on their head. Players can choose to eat and not participate in this competition. Blackwhale has this to say: “At the top 8, with the Heroes down at a 5-3 deficit, the offer is made, as it has been in a few seasons, to either feast or compete for immunity. Candice, feeling assured by her deal with Russell, chooses to eat! The Villain girls, who are already suspicious of Russell’s connection with Candice, become upset when Candice flagrantly sits out of the challenge. After Parvati wins immunity at the top 8, she again asserts her authority over Russell and has the girls’ backing to eliminate Candice before Rupert. Though Candice may not have been able to defeat Parvati in the challenge, she still made a critical error in showing her hand and helping to get the wheels in the girls’ heads spinning.” Supposedly Parvati will win this challenge.

Here is Candice, so does she choose to eat after she is hanging up there or are the spoilers wrong? Missyae says Candice is the next to go so at least that spoiler is correct.

The next immunity challenge is a multi staged obsticle course. In the vidcaps by Survivor Phoenix, we see running, digging and a table maze.

According to blackwhale, it comes down to Parvati, Rupert and Russell with Parvati the winner. At tribal council we know Danielle is the next to go, here is what blackwhale had to say: ”Danielle is especially upset because not long before her boot, Sandra tried to recruit her to vote with Rupert and Colby to take out Russell. Danielle declines the opportunity and is subsequently betrayed by Russell. Russell doesn’t like how she’s drifting away from him. She was drifting away to an extent but was still loyal. But she made herself look shady and gave him an excuse to vote her out. Danielle didn’t reconcile the perception of her gameplay with her actual gameplay too well. Since she LOOKED like she was drifting away, she should have just actually done it and possibly made it to the end.

It was Russell’s definingly stupid move to get rid of Danielle. There was no reason to do it. She absolutely never would have had a chance at a single vote from the jury. Danielle’s boot is the key turning point that loses the game for Parvati and wins it for Sandra. Unfortunately for Parvati, she had no control over it and simply had an unstable ally . While Sandra did not vote against Danielle, she helped get the wheels spinning in Russell’s head and planted the seeds of doubt. I think the final 7 was the critical point where Sandra knew something had to be done to get a spot within the villains inner circle. Jerri felt the same way and was never comfortable with the other women that Russell was associated with, so she jumped on. Parvati’s primary interest was to maintain the status quo because it would have worked very well for her at the end game. It’s part of the reason she gets rid of Amanda, to eliminate any illusions that she’s interested in something else. It’s also why she’s insistent on getting rid of Candice, she wants to cut Russell off at the knees.” Blackwhale hints that this is the turning point for Rupert because he now looks at Russell as his saviour. More on that next episode. Apparently Sandra will put a bug in Russ’s ear that Danielle and Parvati are too powerful of a duo and Danielle is thinking of betraying him. She also makes a point to tell Russ that Parvati has shown him he is not in charge. Sounds like Sandra is about to show some good gameplay. This boot is the final piece that throws Parvati and Sandra together.

It’s going to be good. Can’t wait until Thursday night!

We get started tonight on Survivor 2010 with what I thought was going to be an epic fight between Russell and Parvati but once again he disappoints me and just lets it go.

Russell talks to Candice and gets her to flip to the villain’s side and Rupert talks to Sandra and she wants to take out Russell. Candice lets Russ know that Sandra is planning on voting him out with the heroes but when Russ confronts Sandra she says otherwise.

Reward Challenge: Survivor Shuffle Board – 3 groups of 3 consist of team 1 – Candice, Parvati and Jerri. Team two is Rupert, Russell and Sandra and team 3 is Danielle, Colby and Amanda. Each person takes a turn to shove a puck towards an X on the board. Whomever’s puck is closest win reward for their team. Sandra is by far the worst once again and even Jeff tells her she wastes a shot. Russell and Rupert both get their pucks the closest so it’s up to Colby to win it for his team and he shoots and lands right on the X. The reward is going to the house owned by Robert Lewis Stevenson which is now a museum and spend the night there and watch Treasure Island and eat popcorn. Too bad they didn’t let them take a shower as well before sleeping in that nice bed. Danielle finds the clue to the next HII and slips it down and puts it under the bed. Amanda jumps up and goes to her side and grabs it. The two go at it and Colby finally tells Amanda that Danielle found it so it is hers so Amanda gives it back. I will say that if I had been Amanda there is no way in hell Danielle would have gotten that clue back. I would have torn it in a million pieces before giving it back to her.

Danielle shares the clue with the rest of her clique and she and Russ go on a search and Russ finds it but decides to hide it from her and Parvati since they did it to him last week. He does decide to tell Candice so she would know to trust him. Russ runs his mouth way too much. I understand why he showed Candice the idol but then he tells Sandra one of the heroes has flipped to their side. Later he tells Sandra that Candice let it slip that they were voting him out with Sandra leading the pack. Sandra and Candice have a little chat and Candice lets her know she wants Amanda gone.

Amanda doesn’t seem like herself this go around. She doesn’t say much and acts depressed when the cameras are on her. Perhaps she is sad that she is not working with Parv? I don’t know what it is.

Immunity Challenge is House of Cards and each person receives 150 tiles they use to make a stack up to 10 feet. Russ and Jerri bury everyone and Jerri wins her first immunity necklace just seconds before Russ. A really good effort by Russell.

At Tribal Council Russell lets it be known that he will take a risk all day long to further himself in the game and that’s why I like Russ. Win or lose, he makes things interesting with his bold moves. Russ plays the idol to be on the safe side and when Parvati’s name is written down he is upset with himself but it didn’t matter because Amanda was sent to Ponderosa for the first time. She will no longer have more days than anyone. Parvati tells Russ he wasted the idol. At the end we see that both Candice and Sandra wrote down Amanda’s name.

Next week we will see who wins when Parvati targets Russell’s new friend Candice.

We’ve seen Russell take down the almighty Boston Rob and pick off his alliances one by one. We have seen him pass off not one buy two idols to Parvati. We’ve even seen him hide his tribe’s machete and burn their socks but the one thing we haven’t seen that we weren’t expecting was him lose control to a girl. Could this be the week when Russell loses all control to Parvati and Sandra?

This is not the face of a very happy Russell. He and Parvati will have their conversation first thing Thursday evening. The two will begin to one up each other and even though they will work together, it won’t be the same.

Immunity Challenge is House of Cards from Gabon. Basically you need to have the tallest stack of cards before time runs out.

This callenge doesn’t look easy. According to blackwhale Parvati Jerri wins immunity but he/she said that last week as well so take it with a grain of salt.

The reward challenge is shuffleboard. The will compete in teams of 3 for movies and popcorn and Blackwhale says Amanda, Colby and Danielle are victorious. In the popcorn is a clue to the HII and Danielle and Amanda will wrestle for it with Danielle the winner. Back at camp she is stalked by the heroes who follow her every move.

Amanda will go to Ponderosa at TC. Why do you think they choose to vote out Amanda and how does Russell escape possible eviction from Sandra?
