Get ready for 3 hours of Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains Sunday night as we face 3 Tribal Councils and 2 eliminations. Our next and last fallen heroe is Colby Donaldson who barely showed up this season to compete and strategize. What a disappointment it was to see him not really care about his game at all. Parvati will supposedly win the plate stacking challenge before he gets the boot.

Blackwhale claims that Sandra puts the bug in Russell’s ear to get Jerri out because she and Parvati don’t want to go to the final TC with someone who hasn’t won and they feel like Russ is not a threat. Blackwhale also claimed that the final immunity challenge was the same one they did in Samoa that Russ won. However, I read an article at sucks that said the final IC would have the final 4 blindfolded so now I’m wondering what the challenge actually is and if Russell really wins.

Someone asked blackwhale what Russ’s final TC was like and here is the response:

“The jury pays him no serious consideration, they treat him poorly on the whole, do not take him seriously, and do not respect his game. He approaches things terribly all along, from telling Jerri she owes him her vote, to telling someone like Coach that “it’s just a game” over the necklace incident, when any fool could realize that it’s more than just a game to Coach. In many instances, he doesn’t really get the chance to speak, the jury rakes him over the coals and knows going in that it is strictly a choice between Parvati and Sandra. So it definitely hurt his ego that nobody was marveling over his game. Candice made some sort of comment that he is like an abusive husband and Parvati an abused wife, he took it as a compliment and said thank you, so that elicited some laughter from everyone.”

Sounds like no one is even considering giving Russ the million so with that being said, I really hope the count is wrong and Parvati wins. Here is a quote from Jeff Probst,”I think Parvati is the best overall player, regardless of whether she wins or loses, to ever play the game of ‘Survivor,’” said Probst. “She came in with a gigantic target on her back, and she managed to not only last in the game but control the game. I think she and Russell will both argue that they’re the ones in control, and both are probably right.”

Also, Sunday marks the 28th episode in a row that we have watched Russell Hantz play Survivor.

Survivor 20: Episode 13 Spoilers & Challenge Info

The family visit is this week and the castaways will play with their significant other in a reward challenge for more time to visit. Rupert and Russell’s wife come as wells as Jerri’s sister, Sandra’s uncle, Parvati’s dad, and Colby’s brother.

The reward challenge is from Cook’s Island and is called Pass the Bucket. Players will use buckets to scoop up ocean water and toss it to their loved one who will try and catch the water and pour it into a container. Whomever gets the water to a particular line wins the challenge.

Jerri wins the challenge and takes Parvati and Sandra with her on the reward leaving Russell, Colby and Rupert to strategize in their absence.

Rupert decides to make a deal with the devil despite Sandra’s attempts to help him and give him the HII. Rupert, obviously forgetting what happened to JT, runs to Russ with this information.

The Immunity Challenge is from Gabon called Keep It Up. The contestants will balance two poles on the backs of their hands for as long as possible. The winner is who can keep both poles up the longest. According to blackwhale, Parvati will win the challenge but since we are batting about 50% with his spoilers you never know what is going to happen.

Rupert is mad at Sandra for voting against him at the last TC and this leads to an arguement between the two which is why he is leery of Sandra trying to help him out. Expect a shock when Sandra pulls out the idol and plays it for herself at TC which is the nail in the coffin for Rupert. He realizes Sandra really did want to help him and leaves for the ponderosa in tears.

Sensing that he is in danger, a hero makes a bold move to save himself by fooling the entire tribe.

Meanwhile, a vicious power struggle emerges in one alliance and two of the strongest villains find themselves pitted against one another

The hunt is back on for another idol and we will find out if the king of idols will find it yet again. Surely his luck is about to run out in that regard but this is Russell so you can’t ever tell. Blackwhale said Russ plays an idol at Candice’s boot so if this is correct, he has to find it during this episode.

We have two immunity challenges and two eliminations this week so a lot to get to in only an hour. Our first challenge is When It Rains, It Pours. Survivors are chained with their arms up in the air to a water bucket; if they lower their arms the bucket tilts and pours down on their head. Players can choose to eat and not participate in this competition. Blackwhale has this to say: “At the top 8, with the Heroes down at a 5-3 deficit, the offer is made, as it has been in a few seasons, to either feast or compete for immunity. Candice, feeling assured by her deal with Russell, chooses to eat! The Villain girls, who are already suspicious of Russell’s connection with Candice, become upset when Candice flagrantly sits out of the challenge. After Parvati wins immunity at the top 8, she again asserts her authority over Russell and has the girls’ backing to eliminate Candice before Rupert. Though Candice may not have been able to defeat Parvati in the challenge, she still made a critical error in showing her hand and helping to get the wheels in the girls’ heads spinning.” Supposedly Parvati will win this challenge.

Here is Candice, so does she choose to eat after she is hanging up there or are the spoilers wrong? Missyae says Candice is the next to go so at least that spoiler is correct.

The next immunity challenge is a multi staged obsticle course. In the vidcaps by Survivor Phoenix, we see running, digging and a table maze.

According to blackwhale, it comes down to Parvati, Rupert and Russell with Parvati the winner. At tribal council we know Danielle is the next to go, here is what blackwhale had to say: ”Danielle is especially upset because not long before her boot, Sandra tried to recruit her to vote with Rupert and Colby to take out Russell. Danielle declines the opportunity and is subsequently betrayed by Russell. Russell doesn’t like how she’s drifting away from him. She was drifting away to an extent but was still loyal. But she made herself look shady and gave him an excuse to vote her out. Danielle didn’t reconcile the perception of her gameplay with her actual gameplay too well. Since she LOOKED like she was drifting away, she should have just actually done it and possibly made it to the end.

It was Russell’s definingly stupid move to get rid of Danielle. There was no reason to do it. She absolutely never would have had a chance at a single vote from the jury. Danielle’s boot is the key turning point that loses the game for Parvati and wins it for Sandra. Unfortunately for Parvati, she had no control over it and simply had an unstable ally . While Sandra did not vote against Danielle, she helped get the wheels spinning in Russell’s head and planted the seeds of doubt. I think the final 7 was the critical point where Sandra knew something had to be done to get a spot within the villains inner circle. Jerri felt the same way and was never comfortable with the other women that Russell was associated with, so she jumped on. Parvati’s primary interest was to maintain the status quo because it would have worked very well for her at the end game. It’s part of the reason she gets rid of Amanda, to eliminate any illusions that she’s interested in something else. It’s also why she’s insistent on getting rid of Candice, she wants to cut Russell off at the knees.” Blackwhale hints that this is the turning point for Rupert because he now looks at Russell as his saviour. More on that next episode. Apparently Sandra will put a bug in Russ’s ear that Danielle and Parvati are too powerful of a duo and Danielle is thinking of betraying him. She also makes a point to tell Russ that Parvati has shown him he is not in charge. Sounds like Sandra is about to show some good gameplay. This boot is the final piece that throws Parvati and Sandra together.

It’s going to be good. Can’t wait until Thursday night!

We’ve seen Russell take down the almighty Boston Rob and pick off his alliances one by one. We have seen him pass off not one buy two idols to Parvati. We’ve even seen him hide his tribe’s machete and burn their socks but the one thing we haven’t seen that we weren’t expecting was him lose control to a girl. Could this be the week when Russell loses all control to Parvati and Sandra?

This is not the face of a very happy Russell. He and Parvati will have their conversation first thing Thursday evening. The two will begin to one up each other and even though they will work together, it won’t be the same.

Immunity Challenge is House of Cards from Gabon. Basically you need to have the tallest stack of cards before time runs out.

This callenge doesn’t look easy. According to blackwhale Parvati Jerri wins immunity but he/she said that last week as well so take it with a grain of salt.

The reward challenge is shuffleboard. The will compete in teams of 3 for movies and popcorn and Blackwhale says Amanda, Colby and Danielle are victorious. In the popcorn is a clue to the HII and Danielle and Amanda will wrestle for it with Danielle the winner. Back at camp she is stalked by the heroes who follow her every move.

Amanda will go to Ponderosa at TC. Why do you think they choose to vote out Amanda and how does Russell escape possible eviction from Sandra?

Survivor 20: Episode 10 Spoilers and Challenge Speculation

This week on Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains we get to see The Merge. The Villains will relocate to the Heroe’s camp and both tribes should enjoy a feast in place of the reward challenge.

It looks like the spoilers are correct and the merge tribe is black so the tribe name is probably correct with yin – yang. The yin is the dark, negative feminine side and the yang is light, positive and masculine.

The Immunity Challenge has been used at least twice in the past and the players will now compete for individual immunity. The castaways will hang on totem poles to see who will last the longest. Blackwhale from sucks says “Someone asked about Candice in the totem pole challenge where you wrap your arms and legs around. She did well, and gave Parvati a run for her money, but Parvati still won. This is the first challenge after the merge. JT did pretty well too.” If only JT could have hung on a little longer.

Parvati makes the whole thing look easy and it must be for her since she wins immunity. She also has an idol and Russell has another one. I’ve seen spoilers that say Russ will hand off his idol to Parvati who then gives it to Jerri before the merge and I’ve seen spoilers that say Parvati has both idols and hand them both out in TC to Jerri and Sandra. Either way all the Villains are safe and JT will be sent to visit Coach and Courtney at the Ponderosa.

The heroes will be down by one and it should be fun to watch their jaws hit the floor when they find out they’ve been played by Russell.

Survivor 20: Episode 8 Tonight on CBS & Spoilers For Those Who Don’t Want to Know, Don’t Read

Well, it’s time to pay some homage to our man Coach as he will become the first member of our jury tonight. Is it because he calls out Russell or because the women gang up on him because he has tried to vote out both Parvati and Courtney? Get ready to see some sparks fly as we get geared up for this episode of Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains.

So let’s all take a moment and pay our respect to the man who brought us all the chanting and tai chi we could stand and yes Jeanne, this pic is for you.

Coach has continually got himself in hot water and tonight is no exception. The heroes win both the reward and immunity challenges leading the villains to once again face tribal council where Coach will be sent to the ponderosa.

CBS press release: “IN A HIGH STAKES CHALLENGE, BOTH TRIBES BATTLE FOR THE CHANCE TO WIN IMMUNITY AND A COVETED REWARD THAT PROMISES TO IMPROVE NOT ONLY THEIR MORALE BUT THEIR ENTIRE TRIBE’S STRATEGY
“Banana Etiquette” – When the castaways discover that two people will be sent packing in a rare double elimination, everyone scrambles to save their own skin, and one castaway surprises everyone and risks it all at Tribal Council.”

Hmmm, wonder who that castaway is? Any guesses?

By the press release we can assume the reward and immunity challenge is combined and that the Villains once again win. Here is what Jeff Probst had to say about double boot episodes when he blogged about Samoa:

“For the record, I have always hated the ‘win or lose, you must vote someone out’ twist, but it’s existence comes from necessity….
I am happy to say that we have since figured out a better way to do double eliminations. So should we ever need to vote out two people in one episode it will not be a ‘win or lose both tribes going to tribal council’ scenario.”

So now I’m thinking the tribes will play for individual immunity which Rob may win since Tyson is the boot for the Villains. It will be interesting to see what happens for the Heroe’s because unless James specifically asks Rupert and Amanda to vote him out, I don’t see that happening.

According to new poster at Sucks Blackwhale, Russell is the target for the Villains until he shows Tyson the hidden immunity idol. The vote then switches to Parvati. Russ gets 2 votes, Parv 3 and Tyson 4 and Parv plays the idol Russ gives her. Don’t know if this true or not so we will just wait and see about that.

Survivor’s Unite gives a rundown of the order of how things go down for this episode: Villains win challenge and visit TC first where Tyson is sent packing. Villains then move over to the jury section and Heroe’s come in. Villains eat in front of the Heroe’s and watch while they send James home.

A lot to look forward to in this next episode. What is your speculation about the double boot and how it goes down?

“Tonight we make our move” is the title of the upcoming episode of Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains. In the promos we see an upset Coach crying to Tyson. Wonder what that’s all about? Boston Rob tells him to pick his head up and act like a man. WOW!

In this episode we find out about the two hidden immunity idols which come back into play. The heroes tribe falls apart looking for the idol which Tom finds. Not sure if the tribe knows he finds it since they try to vote him out at Tribal. If Russell finds the idol on the Villain’s side maybe he will keep his mouth shut about it this go around since Sandra makes it a point to let everyone know that whomever finds it is marked.

“Tonight, We Make Our Move” – One of the game’s most notorious masterminds finds her grip on an alliance slipping as they lose sight of their plan and consider voting out one of their own.

The challenge for this week is slip n slide! It looks really fun and reminds me of when I was kid because I loved the slip n slide. In this comp the tribe members dive onto the slip n slide and grab a certain numbered ball and at the end try and shoot it into a basket for a point.

I’m not sure if this challenge is a combination of the reward and immunity but I will let you all know if any new info becomes available this week. I know the Villains win immunity as Cirie is the next one voted out due to getting idol’d by Tom.

I like Cirie and will hate to see her go. What are your thoughts on this and do you think Russell will find the Idol on the Villains side?

Survivor 20: Episode 3 Spoiler Alert

Episode 3: “That girl is like a virus” CBS press release states “One tough villain has the whole tribe on edge as everyone sets their sights on a very dangerous alliance,” next time on Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains. “One of the most powerful women in the game targets a worthy adversary and gets aggressive in her efforts to oust an immediate threat.” I’m thinking the two women are Parvati and Jerri. Coach and Jerri are in a good position with their possible alliance as are Parvati and Russell. Perhaps we will see the true villainous side of these people finally come out.

There is a reward challenge this episode but no speculation as to what it is. The preview shows dejected looking heroes returning to camp and James kicking a shoe in anger so the villains may win. However, we know Tom finds the immunity idol and uses it for episode 4 so heroes need a clue and will probably win next week or Tom searches on his own.

Immunity Challenge this week is an all out brawl with a challenge seen first in Fiji and reused in Palau called “Sumo at Sea” and “Kung Fu Cannibals.” Tom has the experience for this challenge and he goes against Russell and quite possibly defeats him as his last opponents did not fare too well either.

In the challenge one member from each tribe face off and try to knock each other off the platform into the mud. Courtney and Candice sit out for the villains.

Parvati and Candice fight it out and both end up in the mud with Parv on bottom so Candice could be the victor here. Coach is the obvious winner from this shot as he went against Rupert who still has the broken toe.

James goes up against Randy and enjoys some taunting as he easily defeats the old man. Rupert gives a roar of approval as the heroes win their first Immunity Challenge. According to missyae, a machete disappears from the Villain’s camp and Randy is in the middle of this drama with Russell and apparently gets the blame as he is the first one evicted. I have no idea who hid the machete or what the actual story is so I guess we will wait until Thursday to find out.

Is Randy a good choice as the first boot for the Villains?

Survivor 20: Spoiler Alert Episode 2

In the upcoming episode for Survivor Heroes v. Villains, the CBS press release states:

In one of the most explosive tribal councils ever, secrets and strategies are revealed as tempers flare, and a heated argument threatens to tear the whole tribe apart. Backstabbing and dissention run rampant in one tribe as a castaway reveals that old grudges die hard and makes a move to put a former ally on the chopping block. Meanwhile, one villain pushes so hard to provide for the tribe he passes out cold.

It sounds like a lot of drama to fill up the hour long episode airing February 18. For those concerned about Boston Rob, he does not leave this episode and from what I have read, he is dehydrated. He will be around a while longer.

I don’t have information on the Reward Challenge yet but the Immunity Challenge for this show is called “A Crate Idea.” This was used during the Tocantins season so great news for Coach and Tyson for the Villains and JT for the Heroes. The castaways go out in pairs and roll the large crates to the stacking area where they assemble them into a certain shape. Everyone then climbs to the top and cheers.

Villains once again win Immunity! The heroes boot out Stephanie at Tribal. A couple things from missyae, she says Steph does not leave due to her injury but because of her alliance with Tom. She says Steph and Tom do not fit into the LA clique. For the next 3 weeks, it is Tom vs. the rest of the heroes. He finds the hidden immunity idol which saves him either this week or next before they finally bring him down. Missyae also wants me to stress the fact that Parv did not injure Stephanie’s shoulder. They did not show all of the Reward Challenge and in the first round Stephanie injures her shoulder as she is diving onto the mat to score a point for the heroes. This is why you hear Courtney yell to Parv during the round they did show us “break her shoulder” because it was already hurt.

The finale will come down to Russell, Parv, and Sandra with Russell receiving 0 votes. The vote between Parv and Sandra is 5-4 with the projected winner as Sandra. I’m curious to see how editing comes into play where Sandra is concerned and really hope to see her step up if she wins the game.
