Tonight On Survivor 2016: Season Premiere Of ‘Millennials Vs Gen X’

Survivor 2016’s Millennials Vs Gen X season starts tonight on CBS at 8PM ET/PT with a 90-minute premiere that gets the season rolling as Jeff Probst and his team head to Fiji for Season 33.

Survivor 2016 castaways and Jeff Probst

We’ve got the lines divided by age this time around with the older crowd ready to show the younger ones how to do things while the Millennials plan to show they’re not as entitled and lazy as their made out to be. Yeah, I’m not sure about this season’s theme so hopefully the individual castaways are good.

Tribes featuring 20 all-new castaways will arrive on the beach, meet Jeff, and grab their Buffs before he explains how the season is going to work. From there they’ll sprint off in to the jungle to collect as many items as possible to take back to camp with some either/or decisions made along the way.

From the sneak peek below it looks like things don’t get too far though as the castaways are soon evacuated due to “devastating weather” so that’ll put a crimp in the pace of things. You can check that out in the video but there isn’t much to see besides high winds and loading in to a boat to leave.

So we’re getting an episode and a half worth of time tonight with the 90-minute show and these tend to drag on while Big Brother should instead be getting a full two hours for its finale. I wonder why ever year and they keep on doing it anyway. We’ll be watching both events tonight so feel free to join us at bigbrothernetwork.com after the Survivor premiere for even more fun.
