Tonight On Survivor 2017: Tribe Merge Arrives

Survivor 2017 Epi 07 Merge Celebration

Update: Find out who was voted off Survivor tonight with our live recap results!

Drop your Buffs, it’s time to merge tonight on Survivor 2017 as the remaining castaways come together under one camp and celebrate their milestone achievement here in Season 35. The fun can’t last forever though because someone is about to be the first voted off in the individual immunity stretch of the game.

Last week we saw Soko earn a back to back elimination and that was enough to shift the tribes to a tipping point and deliver the coming together of the three, already mixed up, tribes. Now all the original alliances have a chance to reunite, but having only been together a short time they’ll face obstacles with the new tribe alliances as well.

Following Jeff’s reveal of the much anticipated the tribe heads off for a huge celebration feast. Now in the past, we’ve seen not everyone ends up getting to join in. In the sneak peek pics from CBS it looks like Devon is missing, but then in another photo of the castaways seated with drinks we’ve got Devon joining in. We’ll have to wait and see what happens there, but maybe someone is asked to leave between the time they arrive and when food is brought out. Ouch.

As for the Immunity Idols, we’ve still got two hidden away in pockets for Mike and Joe. No tease yet from the CBS promos for whether or not they’ll be put in play tonight so we’ll have to wait and see.

On the challenges front, we’ve got just one competition tonight and that’s, of course, the Immunity Challenge. This one looks great. It’s called “Will It Go Round” and the castaways will have a circular track held vertically with a billiard ball inside. They’ll have to keep it spinning while moving to more difficult perches on the balancing beam. This should be fun.
