Tonight On Survivor 2018: David Vs. Goliath Season Premiere (Plus Sneak Peek)

Just before the Big Brother 20 season finale, you can check out the 90-minute season premiere of Survivor 2018: David vs. Goliath.

Survivor 37 kicks off at 8 PM EST and will pit the underdogs against the big dogs. In the official CBS promo, we learn that the castaways are right away threatened by a cyclone and the Davids are off and running.

“Appearances Are Deceiving” – A vicious cyclone stirs up emotions on the first day on the island, and the “David” tribe tries to take down the “Goliath” tribe, on the 90-minute season premiere of SURVIVOR, Wednesday, Sept. 26 (8:00-9:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

We got a sneak peek at the premiere yesterday and we get to see the two tribes come in on boats and meet for the first time. Jeff welcomes them to the 37th season as they size each other up. The Goliath tribe is stacked and they recognize that right away. And then enters the David tribe and some of the Goliath tribe actually reacts like they feel sorry for them. So needless to say, the Goliath tribe is already very cocky right out of the game.

So tonight we’ll know which tribe is going to shine and which will be the first castaway to be eliminated. We will probably actually lose two by the end of the night, as we’ve seen in the past several seasons. So who will be going home right away? That’s anyone’s guess. But in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Jeff Probst gives us a hint of who it probably won’t be. When asked who his winner pick is this season, he played a bit coy, but offered a few names that would indicate they likely make it deep into the game.

“My winner pick at this point would be… man. Can I have a couple?” Jeff said. “On the Goliath tribe, I think Dan and Kara have a really good shot. On the David tribe, I think Gabby and Carl. I think that would be a great final four.”

Be sure to be here with us during the season premiere tonight at 8 PM just before the Big Brother 20 season finale. We’ll also be here with you all season long as we bring you recaps, rankings, spoilers, and previews of Survivor: David vs. Goliath.
