Survivor 2018 is back tonight on CBS (8/7c) and we will see the 18 remaining castaways drop their buffs for a tribe swap.
“It sounds like both tribes are feeling really good which makes it a perfect time for a switch,” Jeff Probst says in the episode sneak peek below.
And the castaways are not happy about it, as you could expect. Angela says it feels like a broken family and she’s getting emotional. She compares it to her time in the military and how fast you can form bonds in intense situations.
We aren’t getting much as far as previews go because CBS is keeping up the suspense of what the tribes will look like after the switch. We do know that Ghost Island will be back in play, so someone else from the losing tribe will be heading there. We’ll also see how Donathan’s return from Ghost Island plays out.
Also, remember that Stephanie knows about Morgan’s Legacy Idol from Jacob, so it’ll be interesting to see if she uses that knowledge at all in this episode.

We also get a sneak peak at this week’s immunity challenge. It’s called “Along the Watch Tower and it has a bit of
Tribes race through a series of ramps (if they fall off they start over) then the run over to a pit of sand where they dig up a heavy ladder. They carry the leader then stand it up to a tripod. One tribe member from each tribe will have to climb the ladder to release a monkey’s fist. Then they have to scale one wall, then another, only with the help of each other. When they’re all at the time the challenge ends with a puzzle.
That’s a lot of challenge. It has a many typical Survivor elements, but this time there’s some American Ninja Warrior thrown in. I hope the castaways are rested up and ready for it. Check out the preview below.
