Survivor 2018: Watch The First 4 Minutes Of Ghost Island Premiere

Survivor: Ghost Island premieres Wednesday night, but if you’re itching to get this haunting season under way, we’ve got a treat for you: The first four minutes of the Ghost Island premiere.

If you haven’t done much digging into what the theme of the 36th season of Survivor is, then you can find out a lot more about it here.

“This season there’s a twist,” host Jeff Probst explains … “Ghost Island, the graveyard for bad decisions. We are bringing back the idols and advantages that were famously misplayed in previous seasons. This group of new players must find a way to reverse the curse of these haunted surivior relics or they were face the same fate.”

As the episode starts, we get some flashback shots of past castaways wasting Idols and letting down their guards and making those bad decisions that have left us shaking our heads for the past 35 seasons. Then we get a few looks at the Fiji Islands and the new cast. We see they’re divided into two tribes of 10, Malolo and Naviti.

The new castaways then meet up with Jeff, where he kind of explains the twist to them. “One bad decision can haunt you forever,” he says. “For the first time ever, you will have the chance to reverse the curse of some of the worst decisions in Survivor history.” He adds that some of them will end up on Ghost Island where they will have the chance to do just that.

It’s going to be interesting to see exactly how this plays out and to see how many of them actually know about all the past mistakes. The fun starts Wednesday at 8 PM, so be sure to be here with us as we give you a live recap of the season premiere and stick around for the rest of the season for recaps, previews and spoilers. And don’t forget to join in the conversation in our comments section.
