Survivor 2013 Caramoan: Episode 10 Results

Welcome back to Survivor 2013 with your host tonight, Drama Dawn. Things kick right off when we learn why Dawn threatened to quit the game. Her teeth. Dawn dropped her retainer in the water and lost it. Yep. They fixed that one quickly.

Let’s get to the real game with tonight’s Reward Challenge. Teams are split in to two sets of five. Orange team: Malcolm, Eddie, Sherri, Andrea, and Brenda. Purple: Reynold, Erik, Dawn, Cochran, and Phillip. They have to run along beams, down a slide, find a bag of balls under mud, then lastly through a rice pit. Once they get to the other side they have to toss them all in a basket to win.

Malcolm leads off and tries to find all the bags in the mud pit first but he takes forever. Purple has a strong lead in the race after Malcolm’s delay and Sherri’s slow progress on the beams. Purple is there and throwing the balls before Orange gets their fourth person to the end.

Yep, it’s over. Purple gets all their balls in the basket before Orange even gets one thrown in the air. That was sad. Purple heads off to enjoy a luxurious visit to a resort with all the amenities.

Moving on to the Immunity Challenge. Castaways have to do a little underwater racing in this competition. They’ll be running in elimination heats. Two people in each round will move on to the end. Jeff promises this will exhaust them.

Reynold leads the first heat with Andrea not far behind. Dawn just misses her chance to move on as does Cochran and Sherri.

Round two adds a little drama when Phillip abstains from the race citing a fear of drowning from a childhood incident. Fair enough.

Malcolm leads the round and just when it looks like Eddie has it, no! Eddie misses dropping his ring on the post as he dives back in the water. Ya big dummy. Brenda takes his spot.

Five rings this round as Malcolm, Brenda, Reynold, and Andrea battle it out for Immunity.

After a few rings it looks like Reynold will take the win. Malcolm trails just a step behind. Last ring is up and yep, Reynold is safe. Uh oh, Malcolm. I’d be upset if I was in the second heat considering that gave the first heat (Reynold) more time to rest than, say, Malcolm before the last round.

Someone is about to be voted off Survivor tonight, but it won’t be Reynold.

Oh wait, there’s more! Malcolm decides to search for an Immunity Idol and look at that, he finds yet another Idol. Malcolm has double secret protection this week.

Tribal Council tonight is pure gold. Gold, I tell you! Malcolm surprises everyone with his other Immunity Idol as he gives it to Eddie. That means someone from the other side should be going home and Malcolm openly suggests Phillip. That’s three votes against Phillip, but he’s not a sure bet because the others start whispering “Andrea.”

Time to vote! Jeff tallies the votes and gives us the big reveal. Both Malcolm and Eddie play their Idols.

Malcolm gets 2 votes, Eddie gets 4 votes, but yes, oh yes, Phillip gets 4 of his own and with no Idol of his own we know what that means. Wow!

Phillip was voted off Survivor 2013 tonight.

Did the players make the right choice this week?
