Survivor 2013 Caramoan: Episode 9 Results

We’re back on Survivor 2013 with ‘The Phillip Show’ featuring everyone’s crazy special agent. He’s bent on controlling the game and he just might do it as the Favorites continue to dominate the game and decimate the Fans. Let’s find out if tonight’s Survivor keeps that theme alive.

First challenge of the night is for the luxury of traveling to a waterfall, rappel down it, and then enjoy a lunch at the bottom. Sounds like a mission for a special agent.

Teams are split 5-5 and feature four players throwing balls at a net protected by the 5th member of the other tribe. First team to four points wins the reward.

Purple team: Reynold, Erik, Eddie, Cochran, and Michael.
Orange team: Dawn, Phillip, Andrea, Brenda, and Malcolm.

Brenda scores the first point for Orange. Erik ties with a score for Purple. Andrea keeps it going for Orange with a second score and they lead 2-1.

Cochran ties it up with a score for Purple after a series of Orange misses. It doesn’t last long though as Phillip puts Orange back in the lead. Eddie keeps it close by scoring and makes it 3-3. Next point wins it.

Brenda barely, barely misses her shot which gives Erik the chance and he takes it. Purple wins the challenge and heads off for their picnic lunch.

Time for immunity. The challenge is “Last Gasp” and as we saw in today’s spoiler the castaways are holding on to a grate, waiting for the tide to rise.

After an hour, everyone is still there, but they’re down to the last inch of breathing space. Phillip is the first player to bail. Sherri follows with Erik right behind. Dawn drops fourth.

Players are trying to make a snorkel out of their hands, but it’s not working so great. Malcolm drops with Michael bailing next. Can Cochran win a second challenge??

Eddie drops and is immediately followed by Cochran then Reynold. It’s just the ladies of the Favorites left in the comp.

Andrea is struggling and starts to pull away before she goes back in it. This girl is tough! She returns once more before yielding to Brenda. Brenda wins and is safe at tonight’s Tribal Council. Someone is going home tonight on Survivor, but it won’t be Brenda.

After a panic-filled Tribal Council we get some serious action at the council! Jeff tallies the votes and when asked for any immunity idols Reynold stands to turn his in but Malcolm calls him back and says he’s about to get voted out, not him (Malcolm, not Reynold). Reynold gives the immunity to Malcolm to play for himself. Wow!

Jeff reveals the votes and it turns out both Reynold and Malcolm were safe. Michael was voted off Survivor Caramoan tonight. He becomes the first member of this season’s jury.

Did the Survivor castaways make the right choice?
