This week on Survivor 2013 Caramoan, we said goodbye to Reynold and Angie during two Tribal Councils in one episode. And like all eliminated contestants, Reynold got a shower and a shave and sat down for his exit interview.
And while he remains a confident person, he comes off far more humbled now that he’s out of the game. Maybe he should have shown that side of him a little more in the game to shrink that constant target on his back.
As I said, he’s humbled. He recognizes his weaknesses along with his strengths.
“I think I was in a little bit over my head, but everyday I tried to learn,” Reynold says in the interview below. “I think the odds were stacked against me and I was able to endure, or to survive as you might say.”
He was a fighter, that’s for sure.
“I was always fighting. I was always trying to make a big move.,” he said. “I was just never able to get there. I never got to that climax.”
