Tonight on Survivor 2013 we’ll be treated to a challenge called “Phoenix Rises” which is aptly named as it’s actually a recovered challenge from Philippines when it was scraped due to harsh weather and conditions.
Six players on each team. First three head out in a boat, paddle out to a platform, and then dive down to recover a statue of a phoenix. Bring that statue back to your tribe’s tower and mount it.
Now the other three take over and start grappling for rings. Using those rings the players will unlock the tower and win the competition.
As an added bonus, Jeff lets us know they’re playing a trick on the lead challenger creator, John. The crew keeps suggesting the challenge is too difficult and taking too long trying to get John to lose his temper. Check it out in the video below to see if they succeed.
