We’re catching up on last week’s Survivor events with who was voted off and went to Ponderosa to join the Season 33 Jury as jurors three and four arrived at the resort to await their part in crowning this season’s winner.
After a couple of Millennial eliminations since the Jury opened up it was time for the balance to shift and this past week took two Gen-X competitors instead. This is their Ponderosa story…
First up we had Chris Hammons who admits it was a blindside but he doesn’t seem too devastated over the turn of events saying it’ll at least be interesting to get to know the other jurors from a perspective of being outside the game.
Before Chris can head off to the resort he makes the requisite visit to Dr. Joe and discovers he lost 33 pounds since he began the season. That’s nuts! But now he’s off to Ponderosa to earn some of that back with good food and drink. Taylor and Michelle are there waiting with open arms and smiles for Chris.
A night’s sleep does Chris well as he says he feels better and less down about his loss in the game. Now it’s on to story time and recovery, but I’m wishing Chris didn’t share the story that he ate dog poop as part of his Survivor application video. Ugh. You’ll have to watch it yourself to see the rest.

The second elimination of the night came as a brutal but avoidable cut for Jessica Lewis as she stumbles away from having her torch snuff and expresses dismay over having lost a million dollars in that night. She’s clearly shaken by the turn of events as she says “I will forever question my decision and kick myself for what I decided tonight.” Yeah.
After finding out she’s lost 13 pounds Jessica is Ponderosa bound and welcomed by smiling faces and a very happy dog which warms her up a good bit. First on her must-have list for the night: champagne. Next she settles in to share the news that she’s actually a lawyer. Too bad Chris stole her thunder with the same reveal just a few days before.
The next morning Jessica is all about her body and feeling great that she’s lost so much weight and wanting to keep it off. She’s doing crunches and lifts and crunches and more. Jessica seems to have found a good distraction from the night before. Watch the rest of her video including receiving her letter from home.
