Survivor 2018 David Vs. Goliath Player Rankings Week 9

It’s Week 9 on Survivor 2018 and after last week’s epic blindside took out our long-holding No. 2 player, this week is going to be interesting with out player rankings! But I’m up for the job. So let’s see how the remaining 11 castaways stack up after Week 8.

As always, these are just our rankings, and are likely different from yours. So feel free to kindly share with us how you would rank them. We base our rankings on gameplay so far, any powers they might have, their social game and how much danger they have been in so far. Let’s take a look.

Survivor 2018 Week 9 Player Rankings

1. Christian Hubicki. I know what you’re thinking. Christian was the target last week and would have gone home without Davie’s idol. True. But Christian was the main target because he is that much of a threat. And he still didn’t go home because his alliance needed him and because he’s basically their leader. So if that isn’t No. 1 material, I don’t know what is. Surely not Dan, who wasted one of his idols on arguably the second biggest threat in the game now.

2. Angelina Keeley. Now that John is gone, Angelina moves up to the No. 2 spot. She deserves this spot for simply being brushed aside for having all the ideas the guys have BEFORE the guys. She’s played the game hard and well and has known exactly what should be happening in the game. And if she ended up not getting her way, she adapted.

3. Davie Rickbacker. I’m letting Davie jump up to No 3 for the week because he made that bold move. Sure, he no longer has his idol that could be used to save himself, but this is Week 9 we’re looking at, not cumulatively. I’m sure he’ll drop next week if he’s still around.

4. Nick Wilson. Nick makes the biggest jump this week because of how he played the game last week. Both sides seem to trust him and he was the one who let it be known that Christian was in danger. And he still has that steal a vote, which could help the original Davids get their way again this week if it’s played correctly.

5. Alec Merlino. Alec might have turned on his cross-tribes alliance, but he has a good excuse. At least one much better than Mike’s. I think Alec still finds himself in a good spot with both sides, unless we find out this week his side is fed up with his flip-flopping.

6. Gabby Pascuzzi. Gabby holds onto this spot because she’s still using her tears and manipulation to keep her positioned in the game. No one else is using this strategy, so it counts for something.

7. Carl Boudreaux. I’m moving Carl up this week since he was on the right side of the vote this week and he still has that idol nullifier, which gives him some extra power.

8. Dan Rengering. Dan dropped out of the Top 5 because of his wasted idol use and the fact that he’s just arrogant and bossy and will definitely be one of the easiest for his alliance to vote out. Especially for Kara.

9. Alison Raybould. Alison holds on to this spot since she has that immunity win under her belt and she seems to be a smart player.

10. Mike White. Mike finds his way at the bottom for stupidly siding with the Goliaths last week and voting against one of his closest allies on the other side. Really bad move.

11. Kara Kay. Kara sits at the bottom still, but I have a feeling she might turn on Dan this week and that could earn her some extra points for next week. Unless she’s the one to go this week because of that move.

How would you rank the remaining Survivor 37 castaways? Who is going to win it all?
