Survivor One World Episode 12 Recap: The Women Finally Turn On Each Other

This week on Survivor One World, the women spared Tarzan, the only remaining man, for one of their own.

After weeks of picking off the guys one by one, the women decided that sending Tarzan home would’t have made sense when they have an immature idiot among them.

At the start of the show, the tribe gets some tree mail in the form of a Sprint phone. Oh, product placement, I love you so. The messages on the phone are recordings from the contestants’ loved ones. It turns out that the reward challenge this week will include the remaining contestants’ loved ones.

They head off to meet Jeff for the challenge and are soon faced with their loved ones in person. After several emotional reunions, the game gets under way. The winner of the challenge will be swept away for the afternoon with their loved one and treated to food and drinks. They also get to pick two other tribe members and their loved ones to go with them.

Sabrina and some of the others think who ever wins should pick Tarzan and his wife and Christina and her dad because of their situations. Tarzan and his wife are old (that’s a reason?) and Christina’s dad isn’t in great health.

Kat wins the challenge, thanks to her fit and rested cousin (even though she acts like it’s some personal feat). And instead of picking Tarzan and Christina, she picks Kim and Alicia. And an instant target is drawn on her back.

Almost everyone is ready for Kat to go, but Kim decides Kat would be a good person to go to the final three with because she’d be able to beat her. So she, and she alone, decides Sabrina will be going home. And what Kim says, goes.

At the immunity challenge, it’s a test of endurance. Sabrina is the first to go, followed by Tarzan, Alicia, Chelsea, Christina then Kat. Kim wins. Again. And Kat acts like a giant baby and it seems as if she thought Kim should have given her the win! She even whines something like “Kim always wins. I never win.” Seriously? What a baby.

So now that Sabrina looks weaker for falling first and Kat looks stronger for almost winning, people start to change their mind. And then there’s the whole thing where Kat can’t say or do anything that doesn’t sound like a spoiled 12-year-old. Even Kim starts scratching her head over Kat’s level of immaturity.

At Tribal Council, the meeting is ALL about Kat. And ALL about Kat’s poor decisions and stupid comments. She even says blindsides are fun. She enjoys them. Well, then she’s going to enjoy this blindside. Aside from her own vote, Kat is unanimously voted off the island. Finally, someone on this game do something that’s right.

Now let’s hope their Kat distraction puts Tarzan all the way to the end of the game! Ha. That’s wishful thinking.
