Survivor 2018: Who Was Voted Off Survivor Last Night? 3/7/2018

Last night on Survivor 2018 we will be saw a tribe shakeup, another castaway make a trip to Ghost Island, and one more player’s torch get snuffed at the end of the show’s hour-long run.

First up Jeff told the 18 remaining castaways to drop their buffs! They were filling a little too comfortable already, so it was the perfect time for a tribe switch, he told them. And these guys weren’t too happy with the news. In fact, some of them were downright emotional.  Angela even likened it to a broken family. They really were pretty content with the tribes they first found themselves on.

Jeff then tells the castaways to draw new buffs. The new tribes are made up of Naviti: Domenick, Chris, Angela, Wendell, Morgan, Donathan, Libby, Laurel and James. Malolo: Jenna, Stephanie, Brendan, Michael, Desiree, Sebastian, Kellyn, Bradley and Chelsea.

Hidden Immunity Idol

The original Malolo tribe members decide that since they’re outnumbered in their own tribe now they should go idol hunting. And it’s Michael who scores. He finds James’ original Idol from Survivor China. James went home with two idols. He is the only played in the show’s history to be voted out with two idols. So can Michael reverse the curse? We’ll see.

Immunity Challenge

The players must race through a series of ramps to a sand pit where they dig up a ladder. They then carry the leader and stand it up to a tripod. One tribe member from each tribe then will have to climb the ladder to release a monkey’s fist. Then they have to scale one wall, then another, only with the help of each other. When they’re all at the time the challenge ends with a puzzle.

In addition to immunity, they’re also playing for reward: a tarp.

Malolo takes the early lead. Naviti finally gets it together and Malolo loses their lead. The two tribes finally catch up and it’s now a neck-in-neck race. Malolo wins immunity! Naviti will head to tribal. Malolo can’t decide who to send to Ghost Island, so that means Naviti has to draw rocks to decide who goes, and in turn gets immunity. Chris gets the Ghost Island rock so he cannot be sent home this week.

Ghost Island

Chris smashes an urn and gets the “Nope, not today” message. So he gets to hang out by himself while his idea to blindside Domenick possibly slips from his fingers.

Tribal Council

It sounds like Domenick, Libby, Angela and Morgan are in danger of being voted out this week. Wendell’s name comes up, also. So it can be anyone this week. Before tribal, Domenick reveals his fake idol, hoping that will take any target of this back. He tells the others that he faked it to trick Chris. But of course he does have the real idol up his sleeve.

Let’s get to the votes: Libby, Angela, Angela, Angela, Morgan, Morgan, Morgan, Morgan. Morgan is the third person voted out. Blindside!

Since Morgan was voted out with the legacy idol, she willed it to Domenick. That makes two idols for him.
