Survivor 20 Episode 6 Press Release and Spoiler Alert
CBS press release: “IN A HIGH STAKES CHALLENGE, BOTH TRIBES BATTLE FOR THE CHANCE TO WIN IMMUNITY AND A COVETED REWARD THAT PROMISES TO IMPROVE NOT ONLY THEIR MORALE BUT THEIR ENTIRE TRIBE’S STRATEGY
“Banana Etiquette” – When the castaways discover that two people will be sent packing in a rare double elimination, everyone scrambles to save their own skin, and one castaway surprises everyone and risks it all at Tribal Council.”
Hmmm, wonder who that castaway is? Any guesses?
By the press release we can assume the reward and immunity challenge is combined and that the Villains once again win. Here is what Jeff Probst had to say about double boot episodes when he blogged about Samoa:
“For the record, I have always hated the ‘win or lose, you must vote someone out’ twist, but it’s existence comes from necessity….
I am happy to say that we have since figured out a better way to do double eliminations. So should we ever need to vote out two people in one episode it will not be a ‘win or lose both tribes going to tribal council’ scenario.”
So now I’m thinking the tribes will play for individual immunity which Rob may win since Tyson is the boot for the Villains. It will be interesting to see what happens for the Heroe’s because unless James specifically asks Rupert and Amanda to vote him out, I don’t see that happening.
According to new poster at Sucks Blackwhale, Russell is the target for the Villains until he shows Tyson the hidden immunity idol. The vote then switches to Parvati. Russ gets 2 votes, Parv 3 and Tyson 4 and Parv plays the idol Russ gives her. Don’t know if this true or not so we will just wait and see about that.
Survivor’s Unite gives a rundown of the order of how things go down for this episode: Villains win challenge and visit TC first where Tyson is sent packing. Villains then move over to the jury section and Heroe’s come in. Villains eat in front of the Heroe’s and watch while they send James home.
A lot to look forward to in this next episode. What is your speculation about the double boot and how it goes down?

well if parve uses the idol then next time i think they will vote her out becuase they know that russ is alined with her so to make them brake the alinese she should do i hope and double eviction COOL why not we missed one tonight so do it baby do LOL! oh WE GOT THAT HOUSE WE MOVE IN NEXT WEEK MAN IT TOOK OVER SIX MONTHS BUT WORTH IT lol!!!!!

June, haven’t had time to work on the drawer, but will get back to it this week-end. CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR NEW HOME!!! Now you have 30 years of things breaking down, and needing fixing. Hee, hee. It seems like you get one thing fixed, and then another thing breaks. Seriously, owning a home is one great thing. I just don’t like all the upkeep. This year, I have to get a new roof, get the house trim painted, get a new liner for the pool, and repair the fence. Got a lot of stuff to get done this summer, and hope that I don’t run out of money.

Ashley, I thought Jerri was in a alliance with Boston Rob, Sandra, Tyson and Coach. I thought Coach was the trader? Didn’t Danielle join Russell and Parvati in the LA click?

36 Summer (re posting from previous blog thread)
We bought some land on Gun lake in Michigan recently. Up in freesoil near Manistee\Luddington. I think there are two gun lakes in Michigan. This one is a small lake but big enough for boating. Going to build a house on the land later on in life. Put a boat doc in and retire there hopefully by the age of 55. My wife is from that area and we figure we will rent out house in California and build a huge house\bed&breakfast on the land. So much cheaper out there. We just want to wait for our kids to go to college so we have another 15 years or so. I’ll be heading out to MI this forth of july to see the land for the first time in person. Have only seen pictures and google earth shots of it. Had my wifes dad go walk the land and he said its great. I think I’ll camp on it with my kids while out there. Give us Barney and we will take him in the lake. lol
Where in Michigan are you from? I forget if we talked about this before.

He didn’t even get more votes than Parvati. I guess he should polish up his game, so he brings other people to the finals other than people the jury likes huh?

What I don’t get is why wouldn’t the alliance of Boston Rob, Sandra, Tyson, Courtney, stick together and vote 4 people together to get Danielle or Parvati out since Russel showed them the idol. I left Coach out because he is a snake. I am now glad Coach gets screwed by Russell. Karma came back to bite Coach for screwing Boston Rob and Tyson!

Again, I will take Russell never getting any vote and never winning as long as he plays hard and makes if fun for us viewers to watch. The last thing I want to see is Russell buddy buddy with everyone. borrrrrinnngggg. The thing is that I want good T.V. At least Sandra is funner to watch then Nat from last year. I’m glad she wins the million as she will probably need it for Therapy after attempting to get rid of Russell unsuccessfully the full game.

Skokie, di you think Sandra tries to get rid of Russell the whole time? I would think she would eventually make an alliance with Russell and Parvati for them to bring her to the final 3 over Jerri and for Parvati to give her an idol.

I wish Russell and Rob would have teamed up to. I check the guide and next weeks episode is only 1 hour long. I wish they would have made it 2 hours since it seems like a lot is going to happen.
How come they never bring Big brother folks to survivor or survivor folks to big brother?
Our biggest loser QB Jamarcus Russell showed up to camp a day late (of course) but they actually said he was in good shape. Who cares!!!! If they even think about starting him I’m turning in my season tickets.

Skokie, I wish it was a 2 hour show on Wednesday as well. I also think it would be cool to bring Survivor All Stars to Big Brother and vice versa. I also would like to see some Amazing Race teams agains the Big Brother and Survivor All Stars on both Survivor, Big Brother and the Amazing Race shows. That is what makes Jeff and Jordan aka Team Big Brother so awesome on the Amazing Race this year. I also loved it when Boston Rob and his wife (I can’t think of her name) kicked but on the Amazing Race and finished 3rd place and was on the Amazing Race All Stars as well.

I would have also liked to see Russell and Boston Rob team up but at the same time they are both completely different. I also have no idea why anyone would trust Pavarti to bring her to the final three. She’s overly manipulative in using sexual advances to get herself ahead in the game and people just don’t acknowledge it enough. I can understand why people don’t understand Russell because this was filmed before Survivor 19 was on.

For some reason I don’t mind Pavarti gameplay. People ding Russell for not knowing how to play the social game but on the same token they ding Pavarti for playing to much of a social game. OK, maybe I am biased. She was looking at me through the T.V the other week and I swear I think we had a connection. I think she likes me
Hey, Boston Rob got a shout out on”The Daily Show” last night. Stewart gave ‘Boston Rob’ as an example of why Boston is great. Satire of course.

Skotie68 – I’m a Russell fan. I’m just upset that he tries so hard in challenges (although he’s not the greatest) and does amazing and just doesn’t win! I’m still upset at Natalie winning! His problem is no one really likes him.
