Has the storm passed on Survivor 2013 Caramoan or will the aftershocks of Brandon’s meltdown continue to rattle the remaining castaways?
Tonight’s episode picks right back up as Bikal, the Favorites, return to camp and assess the damage their former teammate inflicted on everyone there. But enough of the whining and complaining, this is Survivor after all, where stress and horrible conditions are standard fare.
Reynold is hoping for a big shift in the game as we head in to tonight’s Luxury Challenge and boy could Gota use that tide change. Let’s see if he gets that wish.
Tribe switch! Jeff tells the castaways to drop their buffs and grab an eye filled with paint. Here are our new tribes.
Survivor 2013 Caramoan – New Tribes:
Bikal: Corrine, Phillip, Cochran, Michael, Matt, Julia, & Dawn
Gota: Malcolm, Eddie, Reynold, Sherri, Andrea, Erik, & Brenda
And as for that whole Luxury Challenge that was set up and ready to go? The castaways head back home without a competition.
It’s time for the first challenge of the night with “Crate Outdoors” just like we saw in the Survivor Spoilers earlier today. We’ll now get a look at how the team dynamics work out on the playing field and oh boy is this rough.
Gota is rolling crates like there’s nothing to it while Bikal struggles. Not helping Bikal is their decision to send Phillip out for three crates despite him being the oldest on the team. It’s ugly as Gota laps Bikal and has a healthy lead going in to the phase of loading the crates on the stairs.
The crates look incredibly heavy and it’s showing as Bikal struggles. Jeff describes it as though Bikal is on medication through most of the challenge. Turns out they were taking a double dose of failure because Gota handily defeats them.
Someone at Bikal is going to be voted off Survivor tonight. Phillip has been gunning for Corrine for awhile now so let’s see if he gets his wish or decides to stand strong with the Favorites.
Time for the Tribal Council. The Favorites have stacked the deck against Julia, but you never know.
Our sneak peek at the voting reveals Julia votes against Dawn, Matt votes against Julia, and Michael votes against Julia. Jeff tallies the votes, no Immunity Idols are played, and we get down to business.
Aww snap. With 4 votes, Matt is voted off Survivor Caramoan tonight.
Did Bikal make the right choice in voting off Matt or should they have gone with Julia?
