Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains Episode 3 Recap
Update: Here is a deleted scene courtesy of CBS proving Russell caused chaos by hiding the machete.
Was anyone else about to barf when Parvati was all over Russell? Oh my! This girl needs some serious therapy is all I’m sayin. Boston Rob gave a good tip to any future players, if you want to know who is aligned with who just check out how people sleep at night and who they sleep with. Coach and Jerri are actually kind of cute but Parv and Russ??? What about his wife? Hello? Disgusting.
JT should have been on the Villain’s tribe with his sneaky self this season. He pulled a fast one by telling Cirie that Candice didn’t trust her, and by pulling Tom aside pretending they were still in an alliance and hugging things out with him. He apologized for voting out Stephanie.
Coach and Rob try to give Russell advice about Parvati but instead of listening, he ran back to his new girlfriend to let her know what was going on. What is up with you this season Russ? I never labeled you as the type to be p….. whipped.
The Immunity Challenge/Reward Challenge (yes I was wrong about the reward challenge this week) was so fun to watch. The heroes were out for blood and they beat the Villain’s a$$. A member from each team squared off against each other with a bag and the first to push their opponent off the plank and into the mud wins. First up was Tom and Russ and Tom kills him with the first blow. Candice then takes down Parv. Rupert and Coach go at it and when Coach gets too close to the edge he does a karate spinning back fist and hits Rupert square on the back. They have to redo it and when you see the look in Rup’s eyes you know Coach is in for it. Cirie quickly defeats Jerri and JT knocks down Tyson and of course Ty gets up and kisses him on the cheek. (YUCK!) Danielle and Amanda fought hard as did Colby and Boston Rob but the heroes came up victorious each time. Poor Randy had to go against James and James throws him into the mud like he is nothing.
Speaking of Randy, I felt so bad for him. When the show was over, I was left feeling sad. He caught a clam and no one would eat it with him except for Sandra. Well, Parv tried but spit it out. He tried to tell them what was going to happen if they didn’t vote out Parvati but no one would listen. I bet they wish they had now. Randy is voted out at Tribal Council.
Jerri and Parv seem to really dislike each other. Jerri called Parv a virus and Parv called her a bitter old cougar. Go figure. Parv, jerri would kill you in a catfight. You better watch yourself.
Should the Villains have voted out Randy or taken his advice and gotten rid of Parvati?

I felt a little bad for Randy, too, but he was the obvious choice. After the Villains got their butts handed to themat in the IC, I think they realized that they had to keep their tribe strong. There’s still plenty of time for blindsides!

Coach is so full of it/himself, saying that no one on this season has any honor, except himself. He then proceeds to paraphrase Martin Luther King; that’s when I searched around for my puke bag He says that he will fight to keep Randy; then, he votes out Randy. Coach, how do you spell “hypocrite”? Maybe “liar” is easier. How about “BS”?
I thought it was great how he was strutting after he thought he beat Rupert, then had a do-over because he didn’t follow the rules. Then, he got slammed out by broken-toe Rupert. Sweet!
Parvati and Jerri catfight would be good to see. Bet the “old cougar” would kick prettydiva’s ass.
Russell is up to his old tricks, hiding the machete and BostonRob’s hat. That’s it, Russhole, put your tribe in chaos; it worked so well for you last time, didn’t it?
Maybe the next challenge could be a pissing contest. Who would think they won…Rob, Russhole, or Coach?

Q, thanks for reminding me why I never liked coach.

Another good episode in the bag. Russell is sticking to what took him to the finals before. Except he’s now shacked up with one of the smartest female players ever. They will do some massive damage. Coach is a jackass, we know this, enough said. James was right in what he did in the last episode, but the crap he pulled in the IC this time around was tasteless. Randy was out of the loop in the tribe and really hadn’t made an effort to fit in. He was starting talk of rebellion and it cost him. Especially when Parvati and Russell found out what he had been saying. He got the boot. The folks in the Villains tribe think that the men are getting sucked in by Parvati, and that just isn’t true. Russell manipulates women in this game better then anyone ever. And Coach isn’t buying what she’s selling. She will have to use her smarts this time around and she is a very smart girl. Can’t wait for next week.

Before you get bood and hissed at, Mikey, I’ll agree with you about Parvati. I think she’s flirting so the others will think she’s a one trick pony, but the girl has brains. She did have the smarts to align with Russell after all.
February 26th, 2010 at 2:27 am
# ChiBrad, “She did have the smarts to align with Russell after all.”
WRONG! WRONG!!!
She had insider tips prior to the game.

PARV and RUSS? For real? I will have to check ou the episode later once I get home.. ^_^

Great recap, Ashley!
It would be have been much more interesting had they decided to execute the ultimate throw down and vote out Parvati. Most of the villains gave varying deliberations of the same “Parvati is a naughty girl and she needs to go “theme. Yet, when it came down to it, they failed to deliver their votes.
Dare to Dream Coach reminds me of a guy who really wants to be honourable, courageous, moral and ever other kind of superlative, but he just doesn’t know how to implement the ideals that may live in his heart. There is a disconnect there between heart and brain and body, somehow.
Russell tried very hard to play troll under the bridge last night. It didn‘t work. He hid the machete intending to cause conflict in the tribe. Fail.
Pavarti is doing what she’s always done. Flirt. Her loyalty is to no one but herself. Her personal depth is non-existent. Randy is right. They will rue the time when they could have voted her off when it is too late. Personally, I don’t find her attractive. I never have. There is something missing in her eyes … no inner beauty.
I can’t wait to next week!

Paravti being a smart female player because she acts like a slut? Recap. Season one she was all over Ozzie and Yul – Season two she was all over James and Natalie in front of Ozzie – Season 3 she is all over Russell and even letting Coach gets some feels in the water. This doesn’t make her smart. It makes her a little slut who will probably use her sexuality to gets tips as a server. You can fake your personality one season and maybe two. She has been consitant and said during Fans vs Faves that she would use her flirting ways and sexuality to her advantage like when she acted liked Natalies little lesbian love interest!

Loved the previews about next week. Looks like they are coming after Russell. Little do they know….
Notice the last night they were sleeping, Parviti was cuddle up with Rob. What about Amber? I think its a given that when you go on Survivor you cuddle up with people and caress a lot. You know the saying “What happens on Survivor…get shown to millions of people” I like coach but dislike Jerri even more this year. Looks like they are coming after Parv and Russell. Knowing what we know about the final 3, it should be fun to watch. Poor folks don’t know whats about to hit the,
February 26th, 2010 at 11:53 am
I hate Coach with all his talk about honor and -hit. He didn’t even have the guts to vote out Parv. He’s so full of himself it’s disgusting. Hate have him as a soccer coach anywhere!
I love the way Boston Rob is playing this time. But, I suspect he has ulterior motives later on. Too bad he’ll get voted off soon.
February 26th, 2010 at 12:04 pm
Well when i was watching… Ashely you took the words out of my mouth i said what will Russells wife say to him being too close to parv the barf girl leaning and touching her that way and that close any ways His wife is hotter then Parv the barf girl.
February 26th, 2010 at 12:07 pm
Duane # 9 you rock brother LOL AND YOUR RIGHT ON THE MONEY WITH PARV THE BARF GIRL.
February 26th, 2010 at 12:09 pm
Chessen i hate Coach the Roach too and to bad for Rob but let the games go on.
February 26th, 2010 at 12:12 pm
Man did you all see James just through Randy off like a Rag Doll LOL! aND cOACH WAS SO PISSED OFF WHEN HE LOST lol!!!!!
February 26th, 2010 at 12:44 pm
Hey, peeps! A much better, less angry drama week! Ditto, Ashley, to everything you wrote!
Heed the words of Randy, castaways! He was right on the mark. It’s obvious his brain is in his head and not lower on his anatomy!
Some people can be full of themselves and make me want to barf – others are full of themselves and make me want to laugh. RussHell proclaiming he’s king of the world (I’m Russell Hantz) just cracked me up!
Candace, this is not high school! Quit running around camp saying “someone told Cirie I didn’t like her”. Worthless castaway! Vote her and that mousey rat Courtney off!!
But I still love my KarmaMan Coach – that adorable bag of wind and crap!
Can’t wait to see the race for the idols next week! If they think they can outsmart the idol sniffer-outer, RussHell, they are nuts!
February 26th, 2010 at 12:57 pm
Great episode. I cant believe that the Heros cleaned the Villians clock. I too felt bad for Randy. James was very mean and I can understand why he is now considered a villian.
February 26th, 2010 at 4:36 pm
When Parviti was doing one of the confessionals last night she was looking at me through the camera. I think she likes me. Although I think I fell in love with Danielle last night. I think I’ll look at her face next week to see what she looks like.
February 26th, 2010 at 5:48 pm
Read this elsewhere and found it funny. Paying respect for the Olympics…
“The Villians Tribe
Gold – Parvati. She looks great in a bikini. Oh yeah, she also had the episodes best comment, bashing Jerri and calling her, “a bitter old cougar.” And, she looks great in a bikini.
Silver – Russell. He has an incredible advantage because no one has seen him play this game before — he can use the same old tricks from last season. Hiding his tribe’s only machete (and hopefully Boston Rob’s tired baseball cap) was a clever, strategic move. This means he sacrificed his own ability to eat, and that’s hard core.
Bronze – Boston Rob. After bashing Russell for looking too obvious and cuddling with Parvati during sleepy time, Rob couldn’t hold himself back and proceeded to do the same exact thing, and spooned with her the next night. Well done. “
February 26th, 2010 at 8:29 pm
Russell is just doing the smart thing. He’s aligned himself with the ’slyest’ female on his team. He by no means is falling for her ‘flirty’ behavior. Parvati is smart for knowing that the ’slut’ routine still works wonders. When she needs to make smart moves, she has shown to be very capable of doing so in the past. Her looks aren’t everything to her game. Russell is the greatest to every play this game we know as Survivor. He knows when to speak and when to keep his mouth shut. The only reason he didn’t win last season, was because the jury was bitter about being got by him. They cried into their pillows at night and gave the game to a very undeserving individual in Nat. “You play to win the game!” Herm Edwards once said. A very wise statement indeed. Russell doesn’t care about anyone else but himself, he plays to win. He needs to be rewarded for it.

There’s a funny “secret scene” posted by CBS regarding the machete:
http://www.cbs.com/primetime/survivor/video/?pid=eiawvbfKOqJd_f9mWwvOlwjsw9CYqpoC&vs=homepage&play=true
February 26th, 2010 at 11:33 pm
Mikey, Russell brings another female to the finals, my bad he brought 2 this year ,d it backfires because people don’t trust him. Mick, Jayson didn’t trust him near the end. He should realize all these people he makes deals with and stabs in the back will eventually talk and get mad at him?
I can’t wait until the Richard Hatch vs Russell Hanz Survivor season because Richard will mop the island’s dirt with Russell and his tribe!
February 27th, 2010 at 12:02 am
Ashley, do you know if Survivor will have another regular season again with new contestants who will be playing fot their first time?
I know Missyae said there is talkes about a Richard vs Russell season
February 27th, 2010 at 8:17 am
Duane, yes they will have a regular season and then a season with some kind of twist with former players and stuff. That is all in the works and I’m not sure what the final decision will be.
February 27th, 2010 at 2:59 pm
Thanks Ashley
February 28th, 2010 at 1:09 pm

February 28th, 2010 at 9:22 pm
Ashley, will you please tell me the final 3 teams in the Amazing Race again? I think it is the cowboy brothers, the lesbian couple and Caite and Brent right? I hope not because Kaite and Brent wine too much
February 28th, 2010 at 10:27 pm
W-O-W! The cowboy brothers won again. I am sad the lawyers mom didn’t make it. I still am hoping Jeff and Jordan can find a way to make it longer in the Race. Go team Big Brother!
February 28th, 2010 at 11:42 pm
Duane, I’m posting some new stuff tomorrow about Survivor and I don’t think it is the lesbian couple but the brothers who are in the final 3 of TAR. Jeff and Jordan is out soon depending on non elimination rounds.
February 28th, 2010 at 11:50 pm
Thanks Ashley. Do you know who the other 2 teams in the Amazing Race are besides the Cowboy brothers? I hope the Cowboys win. I can wait to see your new Survivor post! Keep up the good work.

Hey ashley! In my opinion, I felt that Russell is making use of parvati. Parvati hardly trusts anybody but now in this game… She trust russell the most. If I am not wrong, there’s a scene where Jerri and Russell are gossiping about parv and russell told her that he is making use of her.
Well, I thought it was a big move.
