Russell is the best player and should have won. He controlled the whole game. He is what made me want to continue watching the show. The way Survivor winners are chosen is crazy and not fair at all to those who play the game. So Sandra won then to me any player that got voted out could have won. Russell was the only survivor that should have won.

Survivor if you want me to keep watching you’re gonna have to change how the winner is chosen. I don’t think that letting other players vote is a good idea. I think that America should choose the winner or the final 3 should have a final challenge to play that will determine the winner.

BTW I watched season 1 and then 3,4,5 and lost interest… was at home @ my parents house some random holiday weekend and happened to catch mid season 19 and saw Russ pulling some prank while flipping around and watched the show. I ended up watching the rest of Season 19 and being excited to watch season 20 and didn’t miss an episode. Not sure if I’ll bother with season 21 since I know anyone I like playing the game will get borked in the end.. whats the point?

The game is broken… 90% of the time the way to win with the jury morons is to fall ass backwards into the final 3 having been just useless enough to not have ruffled to many feathers (ie hiding in the background or riding someone else), while lucky enough to not get voted out by chance.

Its all luck and if players start following that strat the show will be boring as hell.

At some point the rules have to change… I mean OBVIOUSLY what makes the show good is exactly what guarantees you loose. If the ‘jury’ had the behavior they felt was right the show would be SOOOOO boring and nobody would watch and it would be canned an nobody would get the million.

So I guess everyone should be true and honest and up front and never trick anyone or set someone up or let some moron hang themselves out to dry. Wow that would be almost as fun as watching the stock updates on CNBC.

I dont see how the true survivor could ever win in this game. The entire point of the game is that the winner can only win if they are liked by the jury. But then how can the most liked player win the game, because ultimately they will be seen as a threat and voted out, or make enemies by voting people out. Even if you are exceptional in the physical games you cant make it to the end just on winning challenges. I’ll be honest i still watched the last two seasons after realising the fact that the true winner will most likely be voted out very early on. But i only watched to see if Russell would win this time round, only to find he was robbed again.

Its funny though, how in a court of law the jury is a completely random selection of people without ties to the defendant to avoid a biased decision. I can definetley see how Sandra payed off her jury with ‘kind and loving words’ so she gets the million, while all the evidence of the true player and real survivor winner gets swept under the rug because Russell didn’t pay off his jury with what they wanted. This is called ‘corruption’.

Seeing as this show is called survivor, how about letting a survivor win for a change, how about finishing with a game of survival, how about less emotion and more reality!

Actually don’t worry, i’ve given up hope for this show anyway, i’m out.

People don’t go back to realize that if it wasn’t for russell , your Sandra would of been voted off right after russell. Boston Rob would run the entire show again and would of probably ran into JT for control of the game. I feel that the organizers of Survivor gave the nine “experience players”, “judges” way too much power over the “Heroes vs Villains” game. Yes, I do believe time after time again Russell outwitted and outplayed anyone and everyone, not just on this Survivor but in Survivor’s history. Why you ask? Let’s break it down…
Russell and all other contestants were classified as SURVIVORS by the organizers of the game… and the meaning of SURVIVOR is:
1 : a person who continues to function or prosper in spite of opposition, hardship, or setbacks.
2 : a person regarded as resilient or courageous enough to be able to overcome hardship, misfortune, etc.
3 : one who outlives another
4: To live longer than; outlive:
5 : To cope with (a trauma or setback); persevere after

Of course Russell, Parvati and Sandra were the last three Survivors … Everyone knows that Russell got to that point on his own accord twice… not because he was under someone’s wing or because the lack of participation.

Russell, Parvati and Sandra were classified as VILLAINS by the organizers of Survivor…and the meaning of VILLAIN is:
1 : an uncouth person : boor
3 : a deliberate scoundrel or criminal
4 : a character in a story or play who opposes the hero
5: a wicked or evil person; someone who does evil deliberately
6: the principal bad character in a film or work of fiction
7: one blamed for a particular evil or difficulty

Russell was an uncouth scoundrel throughout every show. He was blamed for everyone’s difficulty especially when the Heroes were voted off. His bad character showed many times and he deliberately aggravated everyone and yet kept control of the game. He certainly had the viewers on edge and couldn’t wait to see what he was going to do the following week. He outwitted and outplayed everyone! Imagine the show without Russell? Sandra should never have won and the reason why she did is because the judges couldn’t stand the fact that RUSSELL IS TOP SURVIVOR VILLAIN!

At least the viewers know who really won! Enjoy your $100,000. Russell! You deserved to win and you did in the viewers eyes!

Russell didn’t get one vote from the jury! NOT ONE!! I don’t deny that both Parv and Sandra have serious Survivor skills. You would be a fool not to recognize making it to the end more than once is more than dumb luck! But, Russell not getting any recognition for his level of game-play is a sick twisted joke! This jury was pathetic! This season the jury spit in the face of Survivor fans and voted out of personal hatred for Russell. The jury clearly avoided their responsibility to form a solid decision based off someone’s ability to play the game of Survivor. I don’t care what anyone says. If someone tells me Russell has no Survivor skills, they are an idiot! Yeah, you can argue that Russell’s end game is bad. The only trouble with that argument is people claim his end game is bad because he is unethical.. If you truly believe Sandra and Parvati do not incorporate the same unethical strategies into Survivor, then you’re judgment is very skewed. I guess you can argue that Parvati and Sandra are better because they play just like Russ and the jury members are just too stupid to recognize it.

If you’re going to sit there and tell me it’s just “Delusional” to think Russell can play this game.… Then you clearly are unable to form a neutral opinion. You’re opinion is simply based off of personal dislike of Russell and has nothing to do with his ability to play the game! I’m glad Russell won the players choice. Not only did it make the jury look ridiculous, it also puts on display every idiot that judges Russell and arrives at the conclusion they hate his guts. Okay, you hate Russ, whatever, that obviously shows your prejudiced when you say, “I’m glad he didn’t win, he didn’t deserve it, etc..”. I don’t hate Sandra or Parvati. They were just were playing a game (Actually, I am a fan of them too), just like Russ! I’m not saying any particular person hand the win locked down. I’m saying Russ should have gotten some votes. YOU ALL KNOW THAT IS A FACT!!!

Sorry Jeff, but every single year this show gets worse and worse. Will we ever witness a classic survivor, where the jury votes with honesty and there mind, rather then with spite and emotion? I don’t blame Russell for being so upset again, because once again, he falls short of the victory because ofa bitter jury. He makes a great point when he says he thinks he will get there votes because they have played the game before and they should respect his game. Hands down best survivor in history. Sandra was an absolute joke, how many more seasons is a coat-tail rider going to win? The people in the jury are a bunch of 2 year olds sucking on there bottles. The motto of survivor is OUTWIT OUTPLAY OUTLAST, not a popularity contest. And i was disgusted with Boston Rob last night. He jsut proved that hes an a$$ and a very sore loser as well. He wont shake Russells hand because he was bitter that Russell kicked his A$$ and hade complete control of the game that Rob “thought” he was running. How can Rob even try to disrespect the best player ever, in my eyes, Rob is an A$$ and i never believed he was that good at this game, unless of course its a popularity contest (pretty darn close). My advice to you Jeff, you guys better figure something out and fast, because with Russell gone, and the utter disapointments of the outcomes over the last 2 seasons (watching the best player in survivor history lose 2 times in a row to a bitter jury), i can only imagine the ratings plummeting, and the show coming off the air in about a year or 2.

As tough as this game is it should not come down to who is most socially acceptable. If not for Russell this game would have been very dull season. He was featured in clips, previews and from the beginning of the show (for a reason). Russell and Pavarty were the only entertaining players. They made the game interesting each week. That’s something the host should recognize and he ran from this truth. Sandra was not interesting and was a very weak player. I really wanted to see the craftiest, durable game player win. Pavarty was good with challenges, Russel was best at controlling the game along with Parvaty. It’s really a shame that another player wins by riding the coatails of the really bold players and is chosen by a group of bitter disapointed losers. I’ve seen other series where the best player won, now it’s becoming too much of a social club. If you play the best you should win. The social aspect should not be the dominant part of the game, as much as these players go through. If you can go through all of that and still dominate the game then you should win otherwise this is not “Survivor” it’s riding the coatails game or survivor of the best liked. You can’t keep viewers interested like that.

American Idol got rid of the most interesting singers before the votes started and wound up with a dull show. Survivor had the most intersting players, lead by Russell (Parvaty should have been second). They made the show, had the boldest moves, won the most challenges but the winner rode their coatails all the way through. Russell was right to expose the flaw in the show that keeps the best player from winning. If it comes down to a social aspect every time then the rest of the struggles mean nothing. Near the end Sandra just quit the challenges early. Why?, because she figured out that they didn’t matter anymore. When others figure this out then you will be forced to change the game because no one will put in the effort if, in the end it dosen’t matter. “As long as they like me then I don’t have to work hard” will become the mantra and it’s starting to move in that direction aka Sandra. Twice now, the best player has lost and the least objectionable has won. If this is the pattern then the host is wrong. The effort in challenges will decrease and the social aspect will rise and the viewers will decide by a loss of interest.

Nobody is blogging, cause reality tv is kind of boring right now, and everybody is waiting for BB. I love BBAD cause I am a night person, and I am hoping that there are no more dumb blonds on the show this year. Had enough of that last year. Glad that Rafa won the French. I love to watch him play, although, last year when he missed Wimbledon, I saw one of the best tennis matches EVER between Roger Federer and my favorite guy, Andy Roddick. But, glad that Rafa is healthy and playing again. Glad also that the Celtics came back and beat LA in game 2. Hope that they beat them again tonight. We had a HOT week in Virginia last week, but thank heavens, this week has really been great. Feel for all of the people around the GULF. What a bummer. Sometimes I think that Oil Executives should be lined up and shot. They are so greedy and stupid. We need to take better care of the precious things which God gives us, and learn to get off the oil train. Wouldn’t be at all upset if when this thing is taken care of, that BP went out of business – BUT NOT UNTIL THEY PAY EVERY DIME TO EVERYBODY WHO HAS BEEN AFFECTED. Those poor animals – when I see them on TV, it makes me want to cry. Thank Heavens, Obama has finally gotten mad enough to speak his mind. Sometimes he is just too laid back. He was a total idiot, and it is going to take decades to undo the damage he did, so don’t think that Obama is going to be able to do it in just one term.
